Humility is not necessarily transcendental. It is a basic good side of morality. Humility is accepting that we are smaller that the straw in the street trampled upon by walking people. Humility is turning the other cheek. Humility is loving our enemies, and even feeling lower and more sinful than them. Humility is not feeling we are special because we are blessed by God, rather, feeling we are worthless of His love, gift, mercy etc. To feel that we are beautiful and more talented than anyone is not humility. Humility is not meddling in politics because it is a different vocation especially if the admin is loved by most people., Sure, they can advise the politicians, but not in a manner that they demand or take sides with the opposition. Jesus Christ said that we should be like him, be Christ-like, by following his FIRST and FOREMOST and GREATEST commandment, "Love God with all your heart, all your mind, your soul and your entire being." Before anything else, we should follow this first and everything comes naturally. But, who teaches this properly? How do you love God? This is transcendental humility. Countless archbishops, bishops, priests preaches humility everyday, but many of them doesn't live what they preach. They are charlatans hiding in their robes and titles, exploiters and taking advantage of their followers' innocence, respects, and holding high regard for them. believing they will guide them to God. They ruin their victims lives as well as their families. The have become demons in a sheep's clothing. Spirituality should elevate ones material, exploitative consciousness into God consciousness, meaning developing humility and not exploiting people. They cannot always hide in the alibi of being just a human being, they are in spiritual pursuit and knows good and bad and Gods' laws. The spiritual process should make them happier and their materialistic, lusty desires gradually dissipates. But, why they seems not progressing spirituality despite their life-long practice, praying several times a day, saying the rosary, officiating masses, reading the Bible, partaking of the holy Eucharist? The problem is either with the potency of the process or the practitioner's sincerity itself.

To cradle Catholics it is all so easy---they just submit to God a little and in very short order they become very saintly. The can do anything they want and God pats them on the back and says, well done my good and faithful servant. But a convert? Oh no! A convert must crawl in the dirt or he is not humble. He must think of himself as the chief of sinners, a worm and not a man, otherwise God kicks him in the teeth. No matter how low a convert crawls, no matter how much he prays or how hard he tries, there is God with His rule book in His Hand, saying, crawl lower! Crawl lower! A cradle Catholic can apply for a responsible job and God winks at him and says, well done, I will give you the grace to get the job and do a good job. A convert applies for the same job and God strikes him down in His righteous rage and anger, because the convert dared stick his neck out.
