Something people don't notice is that you never died to fall damage in normal content before the change, if you landed on a flat surface. You could fall however far you wanted, you'd always live at one hp. The only exception to this was Legendary Campaign and other -15 activities. When Witch Queen dropped, I had gotten used to this hidden tech that you could just fall and not die, but then I'd fall 20 feet and just break my ankles instantly. It looks like even with the collision protection they've added to the game, it doesn't extend to underleveled activities.

I solo'd the legendary campaign and evertime I fought the tormenters my butt was clenched because of how scared I was of them on legendary difficulty. Like I was running away from them and turned to look around and there it would be just right behind me just a few paces. Yikes.

First few were BRUTAL, but by the time I hit the infamous double Tormentor I knew to just burst down the shoulders and super them down from there. Never even died to them, but that first one in the hangar killed me like ten times.

No idea how that’s even possible. I’m great at the game and do raids and Gms all the time. I Was able to get through the first 4 missions solo on legendary but after that it’s way too hard solo. Especially the final boss. Definitely need at least one extra person to help and revive you.

Any that are not full named bosses, can be hit with blind grenades, suppression, stasis freeze, and suspend.... They are a joke once you realize how easy they are to CC... Full bosses though are still terrors

I have PTSD over the final fight, so much Knockback, Strand Mishaps, Tomentor Supressions that made me fall... and then I was forced to complete the fight 3 times over. Round 1. Game forced me into Orbit Mid Cutscene and proceeded to send me to the main menu. Round 2. Hotfix Maint happened just after I killed Calus. Round 3. after many deaths and a loss of sanity I finished this Legendary Campaign and I can safely say never again....

Very disappointing and lackluster campaign. Luckily, bungie nailed everything else in the dlc like the activities and weapons. This has been some of the most fun I've had on D2 in awhile.

I soloed all legendary on launch. Until cheese for final boss i couldnt beat him. Imo the game is just not balanced for solo players at all. Never really was but mostly do able. Now it just makes me want to quit playing destiny forever. Unless something changes Final Shape will be where i stop.

Honestly every campaign encounter was either "tiny room with a boss" or "big room with a SHIT TON OF adds and a boss". I think there was a boss fight with 2 tanks + adds + boss + destroy a suppressor with strand if Im not mistaken?

i almost gave up on legendary with that garbage. HOw many times did destroy the suppressor to get a canon blast up my warlocks ass. Finally passed it. shoot, run hide, shoot, heal, run hide. Trash difficulty. I quit legendary on the training mission before the last mission. fighting CHEESY SHIT that wont atop shooting is not fun.

@@thirtysixforfun hmmm.... I was told that there is exotics you can get at the end of legendary like last time. I've heard conflicting reports on whether there is still exotics in the lost sectors.. I swear Bungie said that they were pulling them out of the law sector's initially but I'm not sure. I haven't done a single one 🤔

Throwing those discs constantly wasn't anything special, and nor was him taking your powers away which was cheap mechanic. Speaking of which he probably has the same AI as some old hive dudes.

Beat legendary campaign with 2 players team on day2 - ez pz. Blind GL on slot1 is good, specially for new enemy. Big disappointment, weak missions, few challenges - they promised to raise the difficulty level and it seems to me that it was easier than WQ. In Lightfall, I jumped disgusted to Legendary even without a prepared class and modifications

Was a chore due to a relentless barrage that wasn't necessarily skill, it's more about just finding the best crowd control setup and using it 90% of the time. Legendary just wasn't as enjoyable as it was previously. Again Bungie leans into their worst impulses in making encounters pretty cheesy instead of actually interesting. Even on normal mode, fending off the cabal onslaught was already crazy (final mission). I'm going to smoke some crack before I try it on legendary lol. I just gave up and went to do the last two missions on normal. I ain't got time for bungie's cheesy shit.

Did anyone else receive next to no rewards for completing the legendary campaign? I thought you were supposed to be able to choose 1 of 2 new exotic armor pieces at the end? Instead it gave me a random exotic. Nothing like finishing the whole legendary campaign with my bro and getting another *skullfort* at the end 😂

You can no longer die from collision damage But before Lightfall there was a way not to die from fall damage, still today The floor simply has to be completely Horizontally Then you could never die of fall damage before Unless the ground is inclined 1 degree

BRO - i just found a glitch in duality I grabbed one buff in the first encounter after killing both of them. Was using "the last warning" and went back to the main area. Chest opened and the floor opened but the encounter continued
