Treva Walker Yeah except I don’t think Charlie would allow a nymph to hold his hand while he’s dating Selena. The implication in the song is that he’s been cheating on her for a nymph and when he kissed her the nymph got mad.
"It let's the demigod's in It shuts the monsters out It keeps the half-bloods safe But turns mortals all about It's misty and it's magic It make me want to shout the The border is all about" *clap clap*
Ravenclaw and LadyNoir SHIPPER 4 LIFE yes I know he is the god of alcohol and I know he runs camp half-blood I just didn’t know mr d meant Dionysius. Sorry for the confusion
George Salazar plays Percy's best friend and then to the guy who hates Percy's guts 😂😂 I love that guy lol (the books are great but I like this more than the first book right now just because of the music)
Based on the books, Hades is a millennial, or possibly zillenial, considering that he seems to be suffering from depression, based on the fact that he resists attempts at socialization (a case could be made that it’s only with the dead people, or that he just doesn’t want more work, I guess) and also seems to hate himself, and he likes movies (such as Disney’s Hercules) and other media that treat him as a villain, and is also just kind of mopey in general? Although not being a good place literally strongly ties into not being in a good place emotionally, considering that he only sees his wife half of the year, he had to trap his only kids in a time warp without any of their memories to protect them, he has to live with the pain of being Hitler’s dad, he lives underground surrounded by dead people, people hate him, and also he’s overworked, but aside from the stuff with parenting, you could argue that many millennials all go through that stuff metaphorically? Shitty home, shitty job, barely able to see your lover, people hate you, it’s a thing.
OMG I LOVE THIS SONG. Except there's no way in Tartarus that Beckendorf would do that to Silena. Mr. D has to be lying. BUT OTHERWISE I LOVE THIS SONG AND KUYA GEORGE.
One time I was in school doing a test and I started singing this. Me and my theatre geek friend were singing it quietly. Little did we know our amazing and beautiful teacher (who also LOVES musicals) started singing along with us. She never got us into trouble or anything. She also wrote on our tests: "Great Job singing! We are doing that musical that you were singing from for this year's school production." We both auditioned and I got AnnaBeth and my bff got Mr. D.
Imagine Mr. D singing this song everytime there's a new half-blood. "Oh shoot... they're awake... it's about time for Mr. D's- Silena! Silena!!! Oiiii Katieee- wait, did you guys set the orientation film- "
I was stunned when when I found out that George was Grover and Mr. D! 😱 P. S. My drama friend said 'you hated it here but I hated it first'and I was like what is that and she showed me this miracle of a musical
Here's a (possible) fact to ruin your day!: Mr D never said anyones name right so that he wouldnt get attached to them because the halfboods died so often
When Mr. Brunner appears and Percy is talking to him I imagine him leaning in and whispering. Then when Mr. D interrupts him I imagine him putting his chin right on Percy's shoulder creepily. Does anyone else feel that way?
Everyone's going on about George Salazar and meanwhile, I'm obsessed with Katie Gardener's voice. Also, apparently, she's also Clarrise and Mrs. Dodds, which is even more impressive. But the "I fell of a pegasus" with the slight giggle is just so perfect.
I love how in the musical Mr. D really does care abt the kids, like he gives selena advise n stuff. We dont get to see that Mr. D until later books, which is sad.
