In "The Limping Man" (1953), directed by Cy Endfield, an American WWII veteran, played by Lloyd Bridges, returns to England post-war. He seeks to reunite with his wartime love, portrayed by Moira Lister, only to uncover that she is entangled with a perilous spy ring. As he delves deeper, he realizes the danger surrounding her and gets pulled into a web of espionage and intrigue. The film, also featuring Alan Wheatley, blends romance and suspense, portraying the veteran's struggle to protect his love while navigating the treacherous world of post-war espionage.
