The Linda Martell Story - Documentary Teaser 

Color Me Country is one of the best LPs ever made. Its more authentic than a lot of records by so-called country artists.

Mrs. Martell your music is amazing and I wish there were more of it. You're genuinely one of my favorite artists.

I watched Ken Burns 2019 documentary about the history of Country music and unless I missed an episode I find it hard to believe that he missed an opportunity to tell Mrs. Linda Martell's story. Also I want to add that when I was a child growing up in Pelahatchie, MS my parents listened too and would sing to country, and blues music of that era. So when I became of age and joined the military people thought that I was strange listening Hank Senior, BB King, John Lee Hooker, Bessie Smith, Little Richard, Johnny Cash, Pasty Cline, Loretta Lynn, Linda Martell, George Jones and many, many more! To me it was normal. I wish Mrs. Linda Martell family the best of luck with putting this documentary together. I would imagine that there is a way to plug into the PBS Charitable Trusts foundations to assist with funding this. Please knock on their door until they answer....

I'm from Sweden and wonder where to find : Bad Case of The Country Blues: The Linda Martell Story. It's 2024 now and I try to google but can't find it.
