I saw this production in the Lyceum theatre in January 2018 and it was a Christmas present and it was absolutely incredible and a life changing production
Thank you so much for posting this Behind the Scenes. I just saw this show in Seattle with my daughter and it was an unforgettable experience. Being an animator, I am fascinated by the making of and the inner workings of special effects. This Behind the Scenes was the icing on the cake of my Lion King adventure!
You MUST see in on stage but the video is nice for knowing the story first and recognizing all the characters. I'm about to see my fourth stage production in four different cities but the audience reaction is always the same, tears all round with at least one of the songs. I've hauled along 6 or 7 friends everyone, 6 to 64, has loved it.
My dad was the Head of Sound their for 25years, he stopped for my birth! He loved it and every show he attended, even though he worked their, I have never seen the West end performance! 😮
This is lovely;;thumbs up up the Producer 'nd Director;;Costume makers,Designers etc..You guys are what waiting an award... Art is simply wonderful 'nd lovely... Creativity is just worth it..
All I can say when me any family got to see it live. Ofcourse me, my mom and three sisters loved it but my dad who hates live shows came with us and he was so quiet threw the whole thing, and never left during the show, not like him and he could not stop talkig about it. He loved it. A 60 year old man loved this show
I also feel like I can relate to this story. I haven't lost my father, but like Simba, I find myself having difficulty with assuming my rightful place in this world, partly because I am not quite sure what it is yet, and also partly because I am afraid that my life will be full of failure, rejection, regrets, and boredom, kind of like Simba.
Endlessnight was our lives & others down here & all over ther world & we all got through it together & all it did is make us stronger & that dont determin who we are at all. we all rose above it & stay strong & make money & stay focused & utube our sis Kimberely Scott we are one & i agree & the lionking we are one part2 ending & God spoke & i understood & i throw up my lionking on brodway shirtsess, hatsess, hoodie, jacket, swetpants
@ingrid98R that's like asking what if Mufasa wasn't killed, it just changes the whole storyline! I know everyone wonders what might happen but the truth is it wouldn't have the same affect as that story does the way it's played out like it is!
God, this really inspires me to make something different however, I still don't get WHY Timon's actor is painted green...bothered me when I first saw it as well
Garret Toonaddict I think it's to represent the grasslands, however I do think it is a bit of a stark difference. Maybe it's to prevent the actor from blending in too much with the colors of the full body Timon puppet.
Good morning fam all of yall please be safe & careful on the road & going home & making sure all of yall are alright & ok. utube our sis Kimberely Scott we are one part2ending & God spoke & i understood & i throw up my new lionking on brodway shirt & on the back of my shirt it says brodway & my lionking on brodeay shirtsess, hatsess, hoodie, jackets, swetpants, vip keychain
