Cant say i remember this game on the master system at all. Either it was one of the last games released for that console or it never made it to this side of the pond. Controls were a bit finicky

Simbas Destiny
Simba, King Lion's first son, can't wait to be king. He explores Pridelands by playing, making friends and learning to stay away from certain animals. And, like any puppy, his curiosity leads to mischief!
But when his father Mufasa dies, Simba's evil uncle Scar accuses Simba of being the one who caused the tragedy. Fleeing from the kingdom, Simba must fight through dangerous regions as he grows transforming into a powerful lion.
Simba soon discovers that his father's courage and nobility are still alive - in him! When he reaches adulthood, Simba decides battle and dig around the Pridelands, defeat Scar and return the peace and prosperity in your lands like the true King Lion!

The Lion King is a platform game based on Disney's 1994 animated film The Lion King. The game was developed by Westwood Studios and published by Virgin Interactive Entertainment for the Super NES and Genesis in 1994, and was ported to MS-DOS, Amiga, Game Gear, Master System, and Nintendo Entertainment System. The Amiga, Master System, and NES versions were only released in the PAL region. It is the final licensed NES game worldwide. The game follows Simba's journey from a young cub to the battle with his uncle Scar as an adult.
