Critique Report: leoncoeurx10! - Praise: -- The Siege Of Gorssell: -> Swarming the rear crossbows. -> Focussing artillery on the densely-packed melee infantry. -> Pulling back your cavalry. -- All the trades! -- Cash for peace! -- The Battle Of Couronne: -> Picking off the flanking spiders with your cav. -> Counter-charging the main line. -> Hammer and anvil on the right flank. -- The Defense Of L'Anguille: -> Taking out the doom diver. -- The Siege Of Grung Zint. -> Pegasuses on the archers. - Mistakes: -- Letting the greenskin army get around you to L'Anguille. - Suggested Actions: -- After the last of the local greenskins are dealt with, build up to take out Marienburg. Cancel your non-aggression at the earliest opportunity that won't lose you honour. Overall: Superb Start!

Be sure to include "Sir Robin the Not-Quite-So-Brave-as-Sir-Lancelot". I'm not sure how you would fit the name or who you would attach the name to, but I'll let you decide.
"The knights of St.Nii" "The Knights of the rising sun" "Aruthr's knights of Bretonnia" " Gatherers of the left Sandles" "Knights of Dickus" "The Black Knights" Love the show, keep up the good work!

Lionheartx10, you rock ! I Watch every single series of yours ! They are so cool ! Besides, I've got some ideas for your female spellcasters : - Anne of Bretonnie/Anne de Bretagne --> Check Wikipedia to see how badass she was : she fought for Brittany independence until the end. - Aliénor of Aquitaine/Aliénor d'Aquitaine --> The second more badass women in Middle Age. She brought Aquitaine to England against France during Hundred Years War (I do not really like this as a french, but you should like that as an English) And for a male lord you have - Bertrand Du Guesclin : One of the best generals during Hundred Years War, though he was French against English ;) (he is a Breton) - Olivier V de CLisson "The Butcher" : a very cruel commander during Hundred Years War against France, and then against England. (He is a Breton)
*Unit Names:* Widowmaker Red Storm Knights of Sidonia Knights of Cydonia Rogue One Midsummer sun Bretonnia Hammer Guard Division Banner Division The Peace Corps The Punishment The Prime Battalion The Ravagers The Guardians Lusitani Swordsmen
Dude i've seen all parts of your Empire Campaign, and as a huge fan of Warhammer fantasy universe, i've been waiting for this! Take my sibscribe and my like!
Love the new series, Lionheart. I find it funny that they refer to Leoncoeur as "the Lionhearted," because his name literally means that. "Leon" = Spanish word for lion, and "coeur" = French for heart. So it's great to see Lionheart play Lionheart the Lionhearted :D As for unit names, I'll leave some in French along with their English translations (I'm not a native French speaker, so take with a grain of salt), feel free to use either. I think it'd be cool to have the French names to keep the armies a bit more immersive, but they might be harder to pronounce. Also threw in some silly ones for good measure. L'Armée de la Dame (Army of the Lady) - use for a peasant army Les Patrouilleurs d'Couronne (The Couronne Patrollers) - peasant army Les Grands Chevaliers (The Grand Knights) - Any knight unit Les Lances Royales (The Royal Lances) - Knights of the Realm Les Champions Sacrés (The Sacred Champions) - Grail Knights La Griffe d'Leoncoeur (Leoncoeur's Claw) - Pegasus Knights The Expendables - peasant army Fresh Meat - peasant army Wall Punchers - Trebuchet Stone Chuckers - Trebuchet
Really looking forward to this play through and my personal lore advice would be if any lords/heroes start on foot get them a horse asap it's is unbefitting of a Bretonnian noble to be trouncing through the mud like a common peasant!
Names list: Archers: Arden Rangers Arthur's lost bowmen (you know since they didn't have bows to kill the rabbit) Questing knights: Knights of the round table (they never did find that grail:) Grail seekers Knights of the realm: Lancelot's lancers Paladin: Sir robin the not so brave Lancelot the brave Sir Galahad the pure Sir benivere the wise (the smart knight from Monty python) Damsel: Maid Marion Quinnivarre the just (I don't think that's spelled right, I'm talking about King Arthur's wife) Battle Pilgrims: Friars of Tuck Disciples of Antioch Grail reliquary: The holy corpse of Antioch
I am french, here is a list of french name for unit ; knight: -les gardiens du fief (the keepers of the fiefdom) -Les protecteurs de la lumière (the protectors of the light) -les défenseurs du lion (the defenders of the lion) -les chevaliers de la justice(the knight of the justice)cavalerie: -les saintes lances (the holy lances) -les cavaliers du jugement(the riders/horseman of jugement)
Some Name Suggestions Pegasus Knights: Ye Olde Airforce Grail Knights: Green Champions (since they have a rivalry with the green knight, this implies they bested him) If you get another knight lord type character: Lancelot/Gallahad etc (members of the round table) If you get a Lord Lancelot, you should pair him with a Damsel Guinevere :P Good stuff, hope your cavalry skills improve. For the Lady! For Bretonnia!
The blades of the enchantress, any peasant unit with any sort of blade, or The holy strings for an archer unit great video love your content i always come here first. i was actually excited when i saw this
Someone told me to put the new unit names here, so here you go, the original comment is from part 14. Peasant Mob, "The Anarcho-Syndicalists", because you can't get any more repressive than making them Varghulf chow. Knights of the Realm, "The Inherent Violence", the guys doing the repression. Foot Squires, "The Coconut Bangers", gotta give the sound effect guys some credit. Paladin, "Sir Robin the Brave", along with his personal Foot Squire retinue, "Sir Robin's Minstrels", who might still get eaten, yaaay. Damsel, "Prince Herbert (Alice)", (s)he just might break into song. Cheers
A small selection of unit names. Man at arms: Bretonnic Guard Shields of Bretonnia Knights: The Lion's Fury Lances of the Damsel Protectors of the People Grail Knights: Knights of the Lady or The Lady's Blessing Love the videos Lion 😁
The Fart Brigade - for Peasant Bowman, best used for those with Plague Arrows. (Lightly linked to the Monty Python's Holy Grail, and "I fart in your general direction" joke)
Units Name Suggestions: Grail Knights - The Lady's Burning Gaze, The Goblets of Fire Pegasus Knights - The Prancing Ponies, The Flying F**** (optional) Royal Hippogryph Knights - Lancelot's Barding Brigade, 3 Headed Knights Errant Knights - The Spanish Inquisition, Arthur's Grail holders (cup holders lol) Peasant Mob - Inquisition Fodder, Rabbits are Peaceful Battle Pilgrims - Tis but a scratch Grail Reliquary - Monty Python Trebuchet (holy water) - The Lady Compels You!! (Shrek references incoming) Mounted Yeomen - Donkey Riders Any Paladin - Lord Farquad Any Damsel - Princess Fiona, (Any Name) In-Distress Green Knight (if you can name it) - Shrek
Not to be a bummer but it would be better if they were called the Rohirrim. To also nerd it up a little further i think he should name his paladins to Gamling, eaowyn and eaomir.
While we're at Elven, Edain and Men names we could go Maedhros, Elros, Turgon, Glorfindel, Arvedui and Aranarth. (I know the two last names the third age names, but I just love Arnor)
Great vid as always Lion! For names: any unit...The Danger Frogs, The Soap Dodgers, Kermit's Kommandos (as a empire player I have to give them some ribbing after all) ;)
I don't know how far you are along in the Campaign, or if you'll even need any (or if some will even fit, for that matter) but here's a few names: Knights of the Realm: Brotherhood of the Lance. Grail Knights (either will work): Ancients of the Sands (For context; That's just a name for a group of Grail Knights guarding a small Lady of the Lake shrine in Araby, before it was destroyed by a large host of undead by the Tomb Kings and they left.) Pegasus Knights: Brotherhood of the Wing & Parravon's Finest. Peasant Bowmen: Andmund's Merry Men. Men-At-Arms (any variation, but I think spears with shields will work best thematically speaking): Wardens of Montfort. Regardless, thanks for the content, lionheart. I've been looking forward to Bretonnia since the game was announced and I'm quite excited you're having a campaign over it. Keep up the great work. Cheers.
grail knights: the party of Sir Robin, the party of Sir Lancelot, the party of Sir Galahad , etc :) A "knights who say ni" would be awesome :) love your Warhammer let plays!

This may sound weird but even though Bretonnia is a Cav faction, I still rely on Infantry with a max of three Cav units. I just realized my army comp is almost the same for every faction that has access to Cav and Range

"The taunting French Knights" as unit name for a unit of men at arms . This is a refference to the most hillarious scene of monty pyton. "your mother was a hamster and your father smells like elderberries. Still laughing at it even after seen it for 10000 times. BTW keep up the great content
Name suggestions: Knights of the hokey pokey The knights watch Peasants of the lady Loeun's conquerors Brian the naughty boy Keep up the good work lionheart, I've been following a lot of your let's plays and thoroughly enjoy them 😊
Brits have always been my fav. Still play them in tabletop 9th age sense GW gutted fantasy battles. SO happy to see them put to their deserved glory! For the Lady! DUES VULT
Every time i see the intro with the enchantress and louen i think of the monty python quote: " I mean, if I went around sayin' I was an empereror just because some moistened bint had lobbed a scimitar at me they'd put me away!" :D
I love how you're not rushing a single thing. I can't force myself not to auto-resolve and end turns after clicking everything I can, and playing through 50+ turns in an hour...
I never really got to play Warhammer, but I did buy the starter box. The armies that interested me most were the Undead (we're talking before the split) particularly Nagash, and Bretonnia. I loved the Arthurian ties in and feel of the army.
Great series, as for unit names: Autonomous Collective - Any peasant unit The Pitchfork Mob - Peasant spear unit Not a Catapult and The ladies Stones - Trebuchet
Knights: ok, these can go pretty much on any unit of knights. Realm, Errant, Questing or Grail. The Lady's Chosen Her Favoured The Lionhearts Knights of Lyoness (bear in mind the lore) Sons of the blessed The Grail bearers The Royal Guard Bretonnian Lord: (and at times perhaps a build for them and their army to fit some themes) Suliman the Saracen (he's a hero from....pretty much the continent of Africa but he's still a bretonnian lord oddly enough) Carver the Ebon knight. (A knight adorned in ebon black armour. A master of in the melee, unafraid to charge into the middle of combat, but let's his Pride get in the way of deploying the Militia) Drake the Glint (A knight known for the speed of his army, and skillful tactician. He made his name destroying Greenskins, but whilst he isn't the most notable warrior, his mind makes up for his body. No one doubts his courage nor his honour) Tiberius the Conquer (A Warrior on a grand crusade to destroy the Greenskin menace wherever it arises, making him a good friend with the Dwaven clans. His campaigns have met with as much success as they have failure, resulting in him having a bit of a reputation amongst the other lords. Regardless, his conquests are legendary, and though his campaigns ultimately fail, he always insists that 'just one more push will do it') Alex the Stalwart: even in this dark age, there are those who will fight to defend the realms and lead their armies to the defence of those in their lands. Alex made his name by being the first to answer any call to arms made by townships and castles, rushing to their aid and holding the line against even the darkest of foes.

Tim The Enchantress backstory! Once the most capable and promising of Balthasar Gelt, Tim spent his youth as a potent Bright wizard of The Empire. On a tour with Gelt of the Empire in search of the Gelts lost Staff of Volans, Tim found a tome that held conjuring spells as well as polymorph spells. These spells would allow anyone to change into any being they wished. Gelt knew of his pupils finding and kept a close eye on him, knowing there could be a taint of chaos about his favored student. Months passed and Tim began to fall deeper and deeper into his conjuring magic which bothered his fellow wizards. One night when morselieb was in its dark phase, Tim attempted to use a change spell onto himself, this spell would only work during the dark moon. Unfortunately his eagerness cost him as his hard reikland accent caused him to speak the incantation wrong and it miscast. And explosion rocked the arcane tower in Altdorf and sent rubble and wild magic arcing in deadly streams to the city below. Gelt fought his way through the storm to find his pupil gone. Two days later Tim awoke on the shore of a lake in a dense forest, his clothes tattered and his life blood stained on them. Parched he began to drink from the lake saw his reflection which made him gasp in horror. He was no longer Tim the Enchanter and was now a woman. His spell had been changed from the miscast and he began to weep when suddenly he was engulfed in light. He witnessed a woman walking across the water towards him with her arms open. Such a beautiful sight caused him to weep even more until she spoke, "Tim, you have been brought here by fate. Be an Enchantress of mine and I will bring you what you seek". A few moments passed and he submitted to her divine will. A few days later from his palace balcony, King Louen Leoncoeur was blinded by a light coming from the forest. Without pause he ran to his stables, mounted his horse and left Couronne with his Kings Guard and sped fast to the light. At the source The King saw only a women, glowing in heavenly light who simply said, "King Leoncoeur, I am Tim The Enchantress. The lady has need of you". Hope you like it! (I think Torren does ;D)

You should name a men at arms unit "paws of the lion". Considering that your king is named lion heart, and they would be the hitting force of the army.
In addition to the edict available, it's useful to use any spellcaster when building buildings, just deploy them right before building buildings. You can save thousands of gold by doing that.
