The edge of the book opposite the spine is the fore-edge. I would love this as a gift for my daughter in law whom was raised on classics and has a vast collection of them. It would be a fun way to revisit them again. For Christmas last year I bought her a Literary Classic Cookbook along with tea towels that were a hand drawn map of Little Women.

I live in a tiny house, so the gifts all being practical is a huge plus. I've also wanted a book vase for so long. My husband buys me flowers all the time. Every time they wither, I get new ones ❤

I've never seen a book vase before. This would be so pretty on a bookshelf with purple wisteria trailing over the books. The last time I was in a book club was the pre-internet, snail mail Doubleday Book Club. I haven't subscribed to one of the ones you unbox because I didn't see the point in the gifts when it's the book I want. But based on the vase, I took a chance and subscribed to this one!

I would so love to win this. I have loved reading all my life. I instilled in my children and my grand children a love of reading. You can literally go anywhere in the world and never leave your home, if you love to read. Before my accident I would have loved this subscription. I'm disabled now and can't afford the subscription. It is a great subscription I bet.

With the book vase please use caution. Some in the book community put real live flowers in the vase and ended up with nearby books getting damaged from condensation leading to mold.
