ancient t90 screaming at present t90: when you know you're opponent is stuck in feudal and you have knights but they have much more eco and army, you need to be really active with your knights, but not lose them unnecessarily. Micro back weak ones and heal. You have the better army and can set the pace, but if you lose even just 2-3 knights too early for no reason, you lose the game against a high level player.

I think after the buffs Longswords are better than one tends to think they are. Also they do counter everything a feudal opponent could make (unless they have loads of archers), whereas small numbers of Knights are countered by the amount of spearmen he had. Plus, massed Longswords with Arson could get rid of his forward buildings probably faster than siege, and you can mass them going up and don't need to invest in a siege workshop. Anyway loving this content, your last video, and the mid-elo stream you did a few days ago - very informative and interesting!

I think the tower placement also had a huge impact, the tower on the rear woodline, if it was on the small hill near the berry bushes, it would have been much better as it could defend the woodline, the berries and the north-west farms! Also, yes that unlucky gold mine reveal... why not just run away and find a far-off gold after you saw the outpost? Also, why did you leave the Archery range intact? You could have taken it down with the militia?

You probably don't read this, but for anyone that does. Spirit of the law did a video on the Polish Folwark, which gives them the same speed as the Slav farming. Slavs however get the bonus for farms around a TC so it's safer. Polish farms give the food at the start so it's a tiny bonus but when they reseed it's the same point as the Slavs. Fastest 2 farming civs. Not sure how it interacts with the Chinese team bonus of +10% food for farms, Slavs might be ahead, but poles still get the 10% food from farms around the Folwark.

longswordsmen with horse archers maybe? and i would definitely have moved those gold villagers to the gold mine in the upper left above yo's base. and i would have made a secondary base in that area to attack him from the side, atleast a siege workshop and a barrack for longswords.

well i just wish i can catch up to this kind of playing :P i come back to aoe2 month ago just bcs it shows on my steam account and play day by day now xd but i still suck... before... i playd it like 20 + years ago... and now i tell you this strategy is the best. after playin years warcrafts starcrafts and others this one is just .... overwhelming . i am even scared to play 1vs1 xDD taking always 2v2 3v3 or 4v4 but i am watching and trying evrything i see :P

Auto reseed costing you the game... you know you can fix that in settings right? It's been like 6 months since they implemented that 1111 we love you T90, gg's!

T90 when casting: "He got *this upgrade*??? He could have spent the extra 12 gold to queue up a single unit .004 seconds sooner his eco is so so SO bad! If he could see through fog of war he would KNOW he had a 3% better option!" T90 when playing: "I got *this upgrade* when none of my units benefitted from it, low cost though whatever."

The question of the long swordsmen was down to a tactical decision to counter attack and pull pressure away instead of enduring Yo’s pressure. To endure his pressure while going fast castle with tower defence and then TC the gold to protect it could have been an option, to have the mindset against someone of Yo’s calibre to believe it’s a viable option would need Daut Castle confidence.

Do you think attack move helped the skirms vs the m&a more than patrol would have?

Maybe the play early on would have been to mix in scouts with the men-at-arms? Scouts would have done a lot better against the skirms and with raids, and the MaA could have pushed back the spears, but that would have required a lot of food too, and you had a range early but no stable. Tricky situation.

It feels soooo weird to have T90 be anything other than blue. Yo is tilting me. Sitting at home rather than raiding and denying the 2nd and 3rd TC was a mistake

I like playing as Lithuanians but I never bother with skirms and I always go for the late game hussar spam, it's very satisfying. I will have to try the other trash too.

Why no scouts in feudal? For the cost of the skirms you made you could have got a stable and a couple of scouts.

I know it's the verbal equivalent of a typo (meaning T90 already knows this) but around 7:00 he mentions he got horse collar because he wanted a lot of food from the farms; in the interest of those who watch this and *don't* know, it doesn't work - exactly- like that. HC will give you better wood economy by making your farms last longer. They produce more food *overall*, but not faster. If you have 5 farms you'll still be getting the exact same food per minute before and after HC.

trash rush, or Trush, for short

These types of games show why AoE2 is superior to AoE4. In AoE2 you can make anything work with the proper preperation and execution, in this case beating MAA with what they are supposedly strong against. Player freedom/creativity is the keyword here. AoE4 is designed in such a way that the ways in which you can have success are funneled through what the devs want you to do against certain things. If the opponent defends with spearmen, you cannot try and overcome them with cavalry, even though you are zerg rushing them and have sacrificed your economical and technological advancement in order to outnumber his spearmen 5 to 1. If your opponent stone walls his base, you must choose among 2 types of siege equipment and wage a slow war of attrition. There is literally no other way. If the opponent masses mangonels, you must answer with mass springalds, because that's what springalds are there for. It is not a strategy game, it is a puzzle game where you are asked to come up with the single adequate solution.

Bro be honest with yourself. You wouldn't cast it like this if it was somebody else's game. Being soft with yourself isn't helping you out see your flaws in the game There's no pressure it's just a game so see it as it is
