There just aren't that many voice actors or high-paying roles in the US, at least not ones with connections or who live in the right places. Even in anime you get the same actors in every show - and a good amount of them them are the same people we had from the late 90s and early 2000s.

So, I watched these movies in Portuguese and the name of the town is in fact Rodopolis, meaning that the subtitle is actually right. I dunno what that Raceopolis sign is doing there, I certainly don't remember that! Did they change it for the US release and then didn't bother to change the name again when releasing the second movie in the US? Geez Brinquedo, get your shit together.

You are right. I dunno why I tried to find a logic to this. But it still baffles me they went through the trouble of changing movie assets to reflect the name Raceopolis (like that sign on the first movie), but couldn't be bothered to change THE NAME ON THE DVD COVER.
