Thank you, Pastor Jacob. I found your semon so encouraging. After the darkness, there will be light. We see a suffering church, God sees a raised church. Oh the hope we gave in Christ.
Should we not be saying, that conquering comes with suffering, or suffering comes while conquering? Why do we always say that we conquer by suffering? That’s the wrong picture. In battle there is suffering. But you don’t step into battle hoping to have your head cut off because without having your head cutoff you won’t win. No. You set forth in battle to conquer. And in that battle, there will be carnage. Conquering comes with suffering.
