Really fell in love with this movie and the updated relationship of Ariel and Eric! I'll try to do a revised version of this edit once the movie comes out in higher quality.

Yes it is it is one reason I like the live action the little marmad movie it is one of my absolute favorite movies of 2023 and one of the very best live action Disney movies ever and has a great cast too😊❤
Wow this edit is stunning. I really love when she pulls him from the water, holds him while he's unconscious & they float together in the storm. She stares at him with such longing despite him being a total stranger. That was so beauty, just showed how much she loved him & wanted to be human. I can't wait to see this again in theater.
Did anyone notice that of all her sisters, she's the ONLY ONE with a tail that matches her father? Both green, but hers with iridescent hints of pink, otherwise dominant of green like King Triton - I loved that!
I wonder if their tails change as they get older. She lives in the same sea as her father, while her sisters live far away. I wonder if their environment affects their scales. 🤔

Halle and Jonah made the movie. I loved other aspects of course. But the little romcom-esque middle of the movie with them was just so delectable ❤😊, and I loved their songs as well.
I want to thank you for this edit, it's so beautifully done and as someone who was so excited to see the various similarities between Eric and Ariel, you captured that perfectly in your video. Your coloring and sharpening is also immaculate, it almost looks like a digital release of the film

I have seen anywhere between 4-6 edits of the Eric x Ariel love journey and this one might be my favorite. I have loved all of them so far though. Their story was beautifully done in the remake, and I am happy to see these beautiful edits because there has been so much unsavory backlash against Halle and the film. We need love in the world right now. There is just so much hate in the world. It is an epidemic……

Which is ridiculous because she performed excellently in the film, not just her singing but her acting as well. Also, she had excellent chemistry with her lead and the innocence of the character came through very clearly. The writing worked so well as well because it was clear they had compatibility aside from just being attractive young folks. 😄
Okay if you can get me liking the remake live action more than the animation then that’s saying something. I’m very bias as I study animation but my god they sure develop and improve the story and film. I love how they develope Eric side and how Ariel it’s not just a crush. It’s up to Eric to kiss her as she can’t remember the kiss. Litterally Eric has true feelings for her. Also as autistic I like how Ariel a mute when I’m anxious I don’t talk. For instance I’m seeing this guy and I let him kinda lead showing me his side interests/ world and fun stuff to do.
Listen this is one of the best Disney movies made omigod. After all the review bombing I was like okay I'm going to go because I feel like it's a backlash against her color but did not expect it to be that great. Within the first 20 minutes of the film especially after she sang her song it just got better and better. Everyone in the audience gave Applause at the end there were tears there was just happiness, it was 75% white audience in New Jersey. Come on now. It is so obvious this is just a racist promoted backlash against the film. I honestly think if black lives matter had not happened, if gay marriage had not happened, if not for the abortion situation, that these conservatives Target all against black people like all of us are responsible for everything going on in the world right now, this movie would just be celebrated a whole lot more. Right now we're in the midst of a white backlash and conservative backlash so a great movie with Innocent people are being smashed because of this situation and it is so unfair. It is a truly great kids movie at even for adults that love musicals with clean language and positive affirmations
And the thing is there were SO many things this did better than the original. Do I miss the scenes between the chef and Sebastian? Yes. But they had enough funny moments in the movie to make not having that forgivable.

When I hear a bad comment on this movie I always ask: DID YOU WATCH THE MOVIE AT THE TEATHER? almost everybody says no, but they are basing their opinion on hate and racism. For me this movie was magical and enchanted, one of the best movies I have seen this year. It will be hard to top it for me.
You had me until you got to "I honestly think..." and then you showed that you don't understand what racism is or how it works. You might as well have said, "If Obama wasn't elected..." while you were at it. Listen, I'm from the South. I also lived in the Midwest. I now live in East Asia. And I mention that because this thing that you're trying to blame on the very people getting the hate predates the things you listed and is worldwide. You are those kind of people who think, "If they just wouldn't make a fuss" but what you actually mean is "If they'd just suffer in silence..." I beg of you, I _dare_ you, to say something similar to/of a victim of abuse. Do you know how you would be dragged for that?? Bigotry is a form of abuse. It leads to violence and the torture and taking of lives. You see a situation and, of course, made it about YOU. Sweet Hey-sus!
