Undoubtedly by far the best genuine reaction video I have seen out of the hundreds for the little mermaid. You can tell these two are real fans of TLM, they are not only realistic but open minded to new things and point out the fact that we shouldn’t compare live action to a 30 year old done cartoon film. With the new technology and talent there is a lot to offer! I wish the entitled many could watch this video and learn a thing or two from these wonderful souls!!! 👏👏🏼👏🏾👏🏽👏🏽

The Little Mermaid is still my favorite Disney movie and this live action looks promising. My only concern is Ursula. Very challenging 🤞🏻

I know water and fire are both very difficult to capture in CGI, and looking at this and comparing computer generated water to what it looked like back in the beginning it's amazing just how far it's come. This movie looks stellar.

The meaning behind the little mermaid makes this song even sadder and makes it hit so much harder. The little mermaid was a lover letter to Hans Christian Andersen’s friend who rejected him for being a man. It’s kind of like the love he had for his friend, it just wasn’t meant to be.

I'm cautiously excited for this movie. The CGI on her tail looks great. There is some really beautiful underwater scenes. I'm just curious how they will do with characters such as Sebastian and Flounder. And how Melissa McCarthy looks like as Ursula. And as you guys have mentioned, what little changes they might have made. For me the live actions have been a bit hit and miss. Beauty and the Beast was alright. It had some good parts and some that were less successful I thought. And in the live action Cinderella I felt that our heroine had less agency compared to the cartoon. She did for example at least try to get out when her stepmother locked her in. But I did like how they made it so that the prince and her met prior to the ball. And great casting for Lady Tremaine. She was the highlight for me. Anywaaay. Little Mermaid I will definitely see. Halle Bailey's voice is stunning and in that one scene she managed to portray Ariel's feeling of longing. And such an important scene as well.
