Hey everyone, thank you for all who enjoyed the song and the work we put into it, but we also want to acknowledge that this wasn't the song some of our fans were hoping for. We wanted to experiment with something VERY different with the production, so we understand if this attempt was not what you guys expected from us. Thank you all for the honest opinions and responses to this, we're not above any kind of critique and we believe this all helps us do better next time when we'll put out our next song (which is coming relatively soon, and is more of our regular production lol). We love you all! thank you!
Maybe if they made it a little more slower and the voice less "robotic" so you can hear the lyrics it might be alright. Also the music is kinda too loud to hear the lyrics itself so there's that. Maybe they can make a remake of this?
when the among us is impostor is sus is sussy and a baka!!!!!!!!!! Edit: I really didn't like this song, but I can hear the effort that went into it, and TLT definitely tried something very new here. Keep at it!
This song sounds like how I'd imagine having a horribly painful migraine as a masochist would feel like. (Yeah I'm not sure if this is a compliment or not either, this song just sounds insane lmao.)
this one feels a little forced. like the idea behind it wasn't "i think making an among us song would be cool" , but "we should probably make an among us song". And i feel it suffered because the lyrics were just kind of forced in. Edited for clarity and dang thats a lot of likes
REPORT! REPORT! REPORT! HE'S SUS! HE'S SUS! HE'S SUS! My grandma died yesterday and this song inspired me to keep her corpse in my basement instead of giving her to the government! Thank you The Living Tombstone you made my life full of joy again. I have to go calm my son down before he hits me again but anyways thank you!
Coming back to this, I really don't understand the hate this received when it came out, from the very beginning it sets up a style, and it sticks to it, and it works out well, people saying it's just bad just mistook subjective and objective feelings I believe
@@dankerbellit's not consistently bad, it's different from the other tlt songs, what YOU're saying is typically what someone would say, just to be a hater and not for any actual good reason, it's not because you don't like it that it is bad.
I can't fucking believe this. Pink from 'Among Us' ruined my marriage. A couple months ago, my wife said she was going out for a ladies' night. She asked me to take care of my son, so I immediately obliged. "Yes Ma'am," I told her. After a while of waiting, she finally left and I could play my favourite game, Among Us. I hopped on my laptop, booted it up and my desktop loaded, complete with the 'Red Sus' background and all my Among Us Impostor fan-art. I was shaking in excitement. I slowly dragged my finger across the track pad, and watched the cursor as it glided over to the Among Us icon. Among Us. My absolute favourite game of all time and quite possibly the best and most well-made game in the entire world. As I clicked the button my body twitched with joy at the thought of being the impostor again. My fingers drummed impatiently on my desk as the Innersloth logo faded in, and then out. Then the main title appeared. I immediately looked at pink as she slowly floated across the screen. Oh, how I wish I could feel those luscious, soft asscheeks. Pink is my queen. The real woman in my life. My wife could never be as sexy as Pink is; her soft footfalls in electrical as I peek at her curvy form from inside a vent, waiting for the right time to strike. I could never get close to Pink, however, as if she had some kind of sixth sense, she would always leave before I could reveal myself to her as the impostor. I press Practice, to warm up my fingers before my first intense game of Among Us. I hit Blue in Comms, then cross the hall and vent to Specimen, murdering Green in cold blood. The thrill of killing an animated character in an online game has never been such a rush. I then move towards Reactor, stabbing Yellow in the back and then running down the corridor to the right to access Decontamination. I move quietly through the halls, like a snake about to strike its prey, and I see- Oh no. It's Pink. Standing there motionlessly as I face her directly. Her visor shows no emotion. But she knows. I can feel it in the air. I can't kill her. She is too beautiful, too angelic, the light reflecting off of her pink bodysuit, like stars on a voided sky. She doesn't run. I am moved to tears as I caress the screen, kissing it tenderly. "Goodbye, Pink. See you soon. It will all be okay," I whisper in a soft, reassuring voice. Then as my cursor hovers over the kill button, I hesitate. Thoughts of love go through my head. Red having reddish-pink sus children with Pink. But I have to. As the impostor, it is my duty to kill. I press the 'Kill' button and watch as my character beheads Pink silently. All I hear is the spurt of blood. There is no rush. There is only Red, standing by himself in Fuel. Pink's lifeless body laying on the floor beside him. I feel nothing at first, then immense sadness, like I'm at a loved one's funeral. My son knocks on the door, interrupting my brief moment of mourning. He asks, "Dad? Are you going to make me a snack?" I tell him to shut up, and my voice cracks. I break down sobbing. I killed her. I killed my one true love. God, forgive me. I open the door to my son, and he has a confused look on his face. I say nothing, and walk to the kitchen to make him a sandwich. Tears roll off my face into the bread as I lay it onto the counter. Lettuce, cheese and meat, followed by a sad swirl of mustard on top. My son is quiet. He sits on the couch, and stares at the floor. There is a depressing air around us. I serve him the sandwich and walk back to my room, contemplating life. If I killed Pink, how am I to be trusted around my family? I cry for hours, and finally my wife comes back. She sees me bawling on the bed like a child who dropped his ice cream. She then asks me why I'm crying and mutter, "I killed her. I killed my only love, Pink, in Among Us." She is filled with rage and slaps me across my face. I feel numb. She asks for a divorce. I don't reply. Instead, I take my laptop and get into my car, driving to a nearby hotel. Fast forward a few months to the divorce. It was quick and painless. After court, I ask my former wife to take me back. "I can't take you back. You've always been this way. I was sus of you from the start."
yea but they cant just make every song be the 1 up from drunk. its near impossible and the pressure they would be feeling would break them. just enjoy the music or dont. dont compare it to their other songs
As much as people are making fun of this song bc… amogus… I think the problem with this one is that there isn’t enough flow as other songs, and it feels like verses aren’t complete before they go to the next one. There isn’t a lot of real singing either, just rhyming. I also think there isn’t much to work off of with among us, so yeah, not a great song, but not upset. Hope this critique helps :D
@@missioncontrol4662 yes but the lyrics of a song about amogus could not be any good so since there is no good lyrics, I'd say pretty good lyrics but in general such a song should have melody and real singing
@@athena8401 its because people didnt play among us much these days like they are use to in the middle of 2020. The amogus memes are also slowly becomes unfunny too
Since people are putting their opinions I guess I could put my own insight into why it doesn't hit right. The background and voices are simply too noisy, not as in loud, but as in too much space filled, there is no singular momment of pause, its a constant rush of sound and leaves little room to appreciate the song. To note on a fact: Songs like Drunk and Spookys Mansion do well and sound great because the background music isn't overstuffed, lyrics also matter a lot, as they convey emotions to the listener. Considering the months of "sus" "amogus" "sussy bakka" we had, its gonna be remembered more as a funny/awkward song due to words like "sus" & "report" being used in the looped part of the song. (And its gonna get used on tik tock for like a month) Could it have been done better than this? Absolutely, I put my full confidence in the creativity of the artists, his talent and his capacity to make songs hit well.
I'm gonna be honest this sosng wasn't as good as some of the other ones like My Ordinary Life, it was still pretty good though which says a lot. I'd love to see even more original songs, but seeing a themed song again was nice, if you ever make another one a Dead by Daylight song would be epic.
Honestly, the only thing I dislike about the song is how the lyrics don't flow all that well in the verses. Idk why people are complaining about how loud it is... That's how this kinda music is supposed to be. Good Job guys!
i mainly like the main chorus but not really the versus bc they don’t rly flow in my opinion. it’s not that bad you j gotta listen to it a couple of times
Jesus Christ, the amount of people who are crying/complaining about TLT making an Among Us song are the same people who plead for another FNaF song. Just stop.
@Slaughter Republic Except you immediately said "it's their option in what things they are gonna make songs about". Either they can or they won't. You said both.
@@sagoot Nope. I've seen too much genuine hate for it to be all jokes. Go watch every other Among Us video to ever exist, there will be at least 20 people that say "Among Us sucks" and mean it.
The Living Tombstone made my favorite song ever (which is "A Doll's House") but at the same time made one of the worst songs ive ever heard which is it.
I actually really enjoy all of Pink's parts, especially the instrumental. It slaps. I'm a fan of really fast, chaotic music, since my understimulated ADHD brain craves this stuff. The bass in this song is especially good during Pink's parts. In particular, I like the main melody during the "I didn't do the thing you think I was doing" part. Also, I think it's awesome how the animators were able to use the reflection on the spacesuits' shields to convey expressions too! Yeah, the rap part isn't my genre, but if there were more/less syllables to line up with the music a bit more, I would have very much appreciated that little break between the faster parts. However, I think the phaser/flanger at 2:11 during the rap is really interesting. Intentionally inducing sensory overload can really add to the theme of some songs, such as during scenes when confronting something disturbing (such as the imposter here). In real life, if you were confronting a threat, you'd probably be overwhelmed as it is. Even though it seems many people didn't like this song, I'm glad it exists. It perked me up today.
I hate among us with everything in my body, but this is living tombstone. It's bound to be good. Edit: Oh Jesus... This is probably my least favourite TLT song ever tbh. And not because of the Among Us aspect. It just kinda sucks. Sorry TLT, but it does.
The rap was alright, but this song was pretty underwhelming. I feel bad not loving a TLT song because I know they put an insane amount of effort into the production of these, but come on guys, we all know you guys can do better than this. Still a massive fan, just not my favorite song.
You know you're allowed to not like everything an artist makes right?, There's nothing bad to feel about, you can acknowledge the effort put into something and respect it but still not enjoy it because that's how humns are
I can agree to that and for me most TLT tracks I’ve been a fan of but I can see what group this is meant to be a light towards. The newer generation that way TLT can bring in new people and keep growing. I’ve been here since the FnaF and the flying dog so I understand it.
As a long time TLT fan, i gotta admit i didn't like it the first time, however i kept listening to it, and it's not bad, just different as to what we're used to. I really like Yoav's part, the chorus is pretty catchy. Yeah i'm not a big fan of the instrumental until the chorus, that hardcore bass sounds pretty good. Also for all those people saying that it's just a "jump on the trend" song, are y'all even surprised? It's not the first time they've done this, and that's not a bad thing at all. Not a bad song, but not as good as another ones. Don't lose faith on TLT, they're just trying new stuff.
I really liked it at first, but the more I listen to it the more messy it sounds. The chorus is kinda bad, the filtering could have been toned down, some of the timing sounds off, and in general it's just not as polished as most of TLT's work.
@@nickpix8066 yeah, my thoughts exactly I kind thought it was my laptops fault the way the audio was coming out though to give some credit I do like portions of the song, just wished it was a bit better .
It genuinely hurts me not fully liking a song but hey, its a different style and you wanted to try it out, respect for not being afraid of doing new things :)
After two years, I’ve grown a huge respect for this song. It’s actually super catchy and it’s quite fun!! I’ve memorized ALMOST all of the words and rap along to it every time it pops up on my playlist. Good Job, TLT
This is the kind of song you need to give a little time to grow on you! I was pretty confused at first but after some listens i warmed up to it and ended up enjoying it now.
I'm going to be honest, I usually really love everything that gets put out and I have never felt that a song was made to hop on some of the hype and bandwagon. But this felt rushed for the hype, it really didn't feel like it had that Tombstone spirt of "hey we made a song that happens to fit Among Us" it really felt like "We are making an Among Us song because it's popular." Disappointed by this one for sure, but maybe it needs the traditional three or four listens for it to be a banger, regardless here's to the next one being really good.
The funny thing is that it’s not even popular, and people started to make fun of people who were still acting like it was popular, and then that became a meme, and then people got pissed at the meme, making the game fall even more
some of you are just being mean with ur criticism, you’re not like the god of all music so calm down 😭 but the actual constructive criticism is understandable!
I couldn't care less about this game and it's community with 3 memes tbh, but the song will probably be a banger nonetheless, TLT = quality content. Edit: The song is out. After listening to it like 5 times in a row (lol) i think i can say how i feel about it; Most ppl complain about the instrumental being too noisy, imo the major turn-off of this song in particular is the rapping, the first two times imo would have been better if they were replaced with more pink lyrics, not bcus the rap was bad since it wasn't imo, but mostly cuz sadly pink having just two repeating sections (the first one and the chorus, that's it) makes the song feel a bit short maybe? I really liked the rap in the end though! But the instrumental felt a bit weird just at that part of the song. Imo it's not a bad song, but it obviously isn't one of the best songs by TLT. In other words, i'm not like running to put this song on my Playlist of favs (But probably i'm going to in a week cuz it'll grow on me lol) It actually isn't that bad considering this was an experimental song to begin with. Just in case that i didn't make it clear, i liked the song, i'm just sayin' that i understand if some people feel a bit off listening to this song.
I don't know why this gets so many hate, this feels like older TLT songs, I love it, at the first listen, some parts sounded off sync, but after a few listens, it sounds great. Missed this type of TLT songs.
TLT songs can be described in two terms: showers and growers. ... yeah i'm going with dick jokes. but it actually works. Usually, TLT songs are more like growers. They don't show much of what makes them great and sound weird if not bad at the first listen, but after a few listens decide to show their true colors and grow into a pretty great song. This happened with most old TLT songs, Drunk for a few people, and Report, Report, Report!. Some other songs can be showers though, immediately showing all they have from the first listen. Most of the time the showers are really good and will sound really great at the first listen- most of zero_one comes to mind, especially Sunburn and Love I Need. Sometimes though (thankfully extremely rare) TLT's shower songs can be just plain bad and not get better after a few listen. Obviously we recently got a fuckton of showers with zero_one being mostly full of incredible songs, with only a few of them needing a few listens to get right, plus some In Sound Mind songs, Getting Bigger, zero_one reloaded, etc. so a lot of people have started to expect showers to be the only type of music to be uploaded when that was obviously never going to be the case, leading to many people really not liking the song despite it simply needing a few listens. Report, Report, Report! is just a grower and people have forgotten that's usually how TLT's songs go. or maybe people just don't like among us lol
It's really weird how people keep saying this song isn't that good, I personally REALLY like it. It's loud, fast, and messy. But it's like that on purpose. This is what a game of among us would sound like. Stressful and panic-inducing, and i think this song really does well conveying that into a song
@@majestc-_allgator4851 That’s honestly the worst thing you can say, you don’t need to save the life of a patient to tell that a murderer disguised as a doctor isn’t normal.
