As I love MPH, and I think Kanden's theme is the best fight theme (excluding Guardian and Gorra Phase 2) so I was very pleasantly surprised to see this video in my notifications :) Good read, it's true that we don't have much backstory for him, but if he was in Metroid Prime 4 it'd be really cool.

Great to see you making lore videos again. Kanden was imo my favorite design in the Metroid series. I always thought of him being more like 1st form cell personality wise.

YEAHHHHH!! Dude, i played this when the Beta cartridge came was released with the original Nintendo Ds. Bought it when it came out, my favorite metroid game. Thank you for this 👍🏻

Definitely some nice points covered here. Especially the duality of being a 'ultimate weapon.' Also I mained Thardus.

Honestly that is a 10/10 analysis. The genetic weapons comparisons were great. Hopefully his species makes a cameo in Prime 4 even if they don’t look like Kanden.

Since he’s already earned his freedom now all that’s left is to see what he will do with it. Maybe he’s a genuine danger to others but I think if Samus can have attempts to tamper with her for evil purposes there could be something out there able to tamper with Kanden for good if he really needs it. He retains enough of his mind to function as a bounty hunter so maybe all he needs is the right person or group to take an interest in him and give him some of his peace back. Otherwise it might come to something worse.

I did main him on multiplayer, bolt driver feels so good to use

I liked Trace personally. He's the perfect ambush and sniper character

So Kanden would kill anyone and anything (including Ridley) to be the best of the best bounty hunter

He always reminded of hunters from halo.

If he makes a comeback, I hope they redesign him to be similar in size to Resident Evil's Nemesis character. Since he's a bioweapon, he should be a towering figure and the strongest among the hunters in brute strength. Imagine him hunting down Samus by bursting through walls, etc.
