I only use lobster machines for tennis and Pickleball . It’s easy to use inside, outside and at private courts. They last @6 years before wheels go bad. But easy to file smooth. Chargers have good life too. Jim 4.5

The price difference for a company to offer you a better than the 1 Amp charger to the mid level charger is probably $3 or $4 dollars. yet they give you the wimpy charger, and want you to pay a lot of money for the other chargers. The remote feature probably costs them no more than $10 - $15 USD to add, yet they don't want to give you a better machine for the low price. If you the just offered a machine with all of these options for a slightly higher price I'd respect the company more.

We value your feedback. There are pros and cons to all of these issues. Our pricing is set by the manufacturer and they are trying to provide customers with a low cost option to get a ball machine. I would be happy to discuss your situation with you directly and see what we can do to help. You can call our Customer Service line at 1-888-845-0163 and ask for John.

I have seen videos from you guys on bothe the Lobster (this one) and the Pickleball Tutor Spin. I'd like to see you do a side-by-side comparsion video...maybe they are sponsor and you are not allowed to rank one over the other. But if you can, I'd like to see it.

He shows just turning the elevation knob, which is a good way to BREAK that feature. You have to PULL the Knob OUT - THEN turn it. Also, wish the video dealt with the optional remote controller. The info says it does the speed setting and oscillation control. I wonder if it just turns it off, on on, so you can take a break without walking back to the machine to turn it off. Stopping it remotely , would be great for an instructor to stop the machine for a bit to give feedback to the student, then turn it back on. From the information given, we don't know, for sure, that it does or does not stop the machine. We can only hope. How about it?

Thanks for the tip, I knew my knob wasn't turning correctly.

I ordered the original lobster which he is reviewing -- he shows the elevation knob as just a twist --- NOT! You have to get your fingers underneath and pull out and keep it out while turning the knob. I can't even do it! It is ridiculously hard. My husband can do it, but not with ease. I think the Lobster 2 would be a much better machine with the electronic elevation feature, but it is A LOT more expensive. Deal breaker for me!

Can i use my. Tennis lobster for pickleball?
@PickleballCentral

No, pickleballs won't work on a Tennis Lobster. You could shred pickleballs and break your Tennis Lobster. Not recommended.

What am I missing? This seems like a superior machine than the Tutor, yet the RU-vid instructional videos all use the Tutor.

It might not be obvious to you, but those videos are pretty much an advertisement.

I do not recommend this machine. Even when you adjust the settings according to the video suggestions, the trajectory etc is unpredictable. And the side knob (trajectory) is very difficult to change. Not a machine for someone who wants to practice various shots!
@PickleballCentral
@PickleballCentral 3 года назад
Barbara, we agree that the manual trajectory adjustment on the base model machine is more difficult to operate than the more expensive Lobster II model with the electronic elevation controls, but it saves money. In terms of the ball trajectory - the biggest issue we've seen is when the machine is used with a mixture of types of balls, or with softer styles of balls. The higher performance roto-molded balls (like Dura, Franklin, Engage Tour) tend to behave more consistency in the machine. I hope this helps you dial in your machine use.

He says made in the USA but earlier the machine has made in China on it...lol Nice looking machine though!

I think if you rewatch the video you will see that the machine clearly is labeled made in the USA. However near the end of the video it does show accessories and one of the CHARGERS is labeled made in China which is very different than you comment above. I point the s out only because it will make a difference to many and most would take your comment at face value.

Brent. I believe its just the charger that's made in China, but the machine could be actually made in the USA. I'm not a 100% sure though but just my thoughts.
