This better be good! I remember Ryan Phillipe In the " The Lincoln Lawyer" what a classic! Plus I'm glad to see Ving Rhames again who's severely underrated back in something that looks decent.
exactly what i was thinking. production etc must be much cheaper (in addition to places to sell the movie have obviously expanded too)....making this movie justifiable...love it...all around good news for producers and the fans.
@@tammyodriscoll1495 nothing together but they were in other movies separately. I cant remember names right now. Ryan was married to Reese Witherspoon. They have two kids together. Just a side note.
Great - show us the ENTIRE movie, appreciate it. Guy is a locksmith criminal, does one job one night his buddy gets killed. He goes to jail. Works at a lock store, still kinda misses the game. Her friend needs his help, he helps her, gets back into it, bla bla, whole thing right there. Thanks.
Ya forgot that he'll have a _dumpy, grumpy sexless "black" best friend/father figure_ to encourage him and give him sage advise before he (the DGSBBF/FF) ultimately gets killed while trying (but failing) to save the "locksmith's" wife and/or daughter. Which IN TURN will make the 'locksmith' that much more angry. See ya forgot that.
@@sarcasticklutz There is only one Cruel Intentions movie...the original with Reese Witherspoon, Ryan Phillipe and Sarah Michelle Gellar. The rest were crap.
Ryan in 'Shooter' was great....and unexpected. The 'Cruel Intentions' pretty boy can actually act. I enjoy seeing these movies where the 'young, hot thing' goes through some real life bullshit and has to actually prove that they have what it takes. I like him as an actor and I hope he stays on this path
I feel for actors thrown into roles that tell more than just a story for the audience but a clear message/warning/rules to follow for the actor(s) in the films.
This looks like it could go either Way. Hopefully it’s a hit, I would like to see Ryan get more roles. It was already a huge disappointment that they didn’t continue his characters story line on secrets and lies. Which is a shame because I think seeing the case continued would’ve been better than trying to sell it as an anthology series with Detective Cornell (Juliette Lewis’ character).
It reminds me of one of Leslie Nielsen's funniest lines. Bad guy: "Who are you? How did you get in here?" Nielsen: "I'm a locksmith...and I'm a locksmith."
What?! Ving Rhames is playing the "black" dude? He's going to play a kinda dumpy, grumpy sexless "black"guy contrasted to _thin above-average looking "white"guys and gals_ ? He's going to have to get out of his comfort zone on this one. But I think he'll manage it. *GO VING!!!!*
Any Ryan Phillipe fans that have NOT seen *"Way of the Gun"* , it's him, Benicio Del Toro, Juliette Lewis, James Caan and a plethora of other amazing actors, it was released at the same time as "The Usual Suspects"( one of the Producers or other folk from Suspects was involved in W.O.T.G.) and kinda got lost in the publicity for that, it's my favourite movie, your mileage may vary, but Ryan Philippe(and well everybody) rocks in it.
Ryan Philippe is a great actor, he will get the recognition he long deserves. I hope Ryan Philippe gets his recognition faster than Tommy Lee Jones, he was well respected, but he did not get recognition until the early 90s and by then he had a few decades of acting under his belt.
Great.🙄 This movie is gonna inspire a bunch of young punks and thugs to become out-of-this-world expert lock pickers. Thanks Arclight Films...................appreciate it.
