I mean you can send the same card to beckett 3 times and get three different grades. Same thing with psa or cgc. It's all up to whomever actually does the grading. Different people, different results
Beckett knew damn well Logan Paul bought that card off Gary everyone knew it, it was a big deal And Beckett knows damn well they already graded that card And we know Logan Paul walked in to get it graded he got it graded super fast When everyone else is waiting a year to get their cards graded These are Big names in Pokemon the Pokemon game getting their cards graded Gary's two charizards are still better than Logan's because those ones were 10 off the bat first try
0:24, Yes, I know, 2 years late but the reason is that Gary asked PSA to have it crossed over to BGS, Logan literally broke the card out of the PSA casing and submitted it as a raw card to BGS.
I agree with your thought on Beckett upgrading the Charizard to a Pristine 10 when they knew that Logan would wear it at the Mayweather fight. Definitely Sus. Oh and Happy 10,000 (20,000)!

@@jeffro6002 You do know some people collect it for the fun of it. They don't care if it's valuable or not. Why should I pay double/triple the price for pokemon cards? Because a youtuber made it about gaining profit and lured in adults who think they can make a quick buck. Yes there is more attention to the card game, but most of it is from people who don't have a damn clue about pokemon. All they know is buy out the whole store, resell it for an enormous price, and forcing the original price to skyrocket everywhere you go. Makes it hard for the children who collect it for fun and the adults who enjoy casually collecting their favorite cards.
@@konakano7955 If youre buying or even caring what resellers are selling it for, then youre obviously following the market. The target demographic for this stuff isnt children like it was in 1999, Pokemon knows exactly who theyre selling to. Stop making out to seem like such a small portion of the community has more say than the vast majority.

I watched a vid where a guy sent in 15 cards to bgs and when he got them back he cracked them all and resent them in. 40 out of the 60 sub grades ended up changing and like 4 of the cards came back a higher grade over all.

Gary tried getting it regraded in the psa Slab. Logan risked loosing 150 thousand dollar card by breaking it out of the psa slap and submitting it to Beckett as a raw card because he was thinking psa and Beckett had a rivalry and that’s why Beckett wouldn’t grade it a 10 for Gary in the psa slab

One thing about that "financial talk" Gary did, I believe that is when he stated that Arita signature on one of his Zards is not worth anything and he considers wiping it out xD This escalated into a series of videos showcasing that he isn't the person most PokeTubers claim him to be and apparently some are still in the works. No matter what you think about Gary, those do shed some light ar his recent activities. I believe he was planning to start his own grading service as well.
I don’t think BGS needed any marketing help. They were already overwhelmed at this point with cards to grade. If anything, Logan may have sweetened the deal and paid them off.
There's an update on this charizard card in logan's podcast he just released. He actually broke the case and submitted it as a raw card. Crazy. Happy 10000
The reason this card got a different grade when Logan Paul graded it was because it was a different person grading it. Until machines start grading cards, there will always be uncertainties like this.
@@PropiaPersona The graders at beckett don't know who's card they're grading. All information about the owner of the card they grade is kept from them purposefully to avoid such bias. So that isn't why Logan was able to get it to be graded 10.
@@TheEmeraldKidRE but think about it there’s what 120ish PSA 10s? That isn’t like some other modern card where there’s tens of thousands of PSA 10s. And I’m sure that of those 120ish there are multiple people like Gary who have multiple copies. So you figure (just guessing) there’s probably 60-70 people that own all of them. Then you figure Gary and leonharts video plus Logan’s videos of the actual card. For a company like Beckett even if the information was withheld from the graders if somebody even had the slightest suspicion that it could possibly have been Logan’s they could have done a little research and easily found out it was his. It’s also possible that the bigwigs of the company saw his submission and knew the exposure it would get them and specifically told the graders to regrade it a 10. Not saying this is what happened your point is very valid and very possibly true, just saying it’s very possible that they knew it was Logan’s all along

Grading is the biggest scam, it's so stupid. The vast majority of people can't tell the difference between a gem mint 10 and a card that would be sold as "heavily played"
