The Lonely Bitterroot | A 4 Day Solo Backpacking Route in Montana | El Capitan to Tin Cup 

Mid July Trip | This is a 4 Day backpacking trip in Montana's Bitterroot Mountains. I started at Little Rock Creek Lake where I gained the lake then went off trail to the nameless "Pristine Lakes" basin, from there I used a gully to get onto the ridge near El Capitan. After summiting El Capitan I descended to Kerlee Lake then went downhill even further and out of the Tin Cup drainage. From there I stashed my gear and went off trail back to the Little Rock Trailhead to grab my truck.
