Welcome back to The Long Dark!
A new Stalker series begins with this video, as Tessa embarks on a journey throughout the cold world of The Long Dark in order to survive. This series also includes the DLC Tales from the Far Territory. This let's play starts off in Desolation Point as Tessa prepares to embark on a journey to survive and thrive in the silent apocalypse. She'll need to watch out for wolves, the cold, and other survival-related issues throughout her journey in The Long Dark.

Yeah, I forget when HL cut the wolves' leashes, letting them travel further. It's amazing how far you can drag them across some regions. And yeah- you found out that they can and will run up the pier, lol, They will also come up on porches, and some fallen trees. I've never had one charge me in an open door fishing hut, but plenty of people say they have. I have had them chase me into a cave and charge me there. They fixed their pathing- wolves, bears, timberwolves- it keeps things interesting. If they can see you or smell you, they'll come for you in Stalker. You need to put this series up on the online forums too. :)

Ok, I'll post it there too! I've found it's easier then I remember it being though to lose wolves in undulating territory. Used to be wolves would easily keep coming, but now a slight hillock and enough distance will break LOS if you're not scenty, quite quickly. Before I seem to recall that wolves had a larger sight radius when stalking and could easily re-catch you after LOS break if you weren't far enough away. That far enough away seems to be much shorter than before. I'll have to keep testing lol!

@@Lonelywolfofficial Heh. It was fun watching you pull that wolf so far across the map, with a half dozen times where they would have broken off and turned around in the past. I am *almost* willing to bet if you weren't stinky from meat that it would have, especially at the fishing hut where it went into flee mode. The deer were not being helpful either. None of them willing to offer themselves to the wolf to save your butt. ;)

No those deer were just being annoying. Like hello Mr. Wolf, there's a free lunch *right there.* But Mr. Wolf only had eyes for meeeeee. I guess I'll take it as a compliment haha!

@@Lonelywolfofficial Heh. You looked and smelled better than they did to your obsessive wolf follower- Stalker is called Stalker for a reason, lmao. Maybe they just wanted a selfie?
