Welcome back to The Long Dark!
A new Stalker series is here, as Tessa embarks on a journey throughout the cold world of The Long Dark in order to survive. This series also includes the DLC Tales from the Far Territory. This let's play starts off in Desolation Point as Tessa prepares to embark on a journey to survive and thrive in the silent apocalypse. She'll need to watch out for wolves, the cold, and other survival-related issues throughout her journey in The Long Dark.

Lonely, not for future cave climbs - for both rope and root climbes, you no longer need to extinquish and pack your light sources while climbing, the game will automatically temporarily holster them, and automatically reequip them upon finishing your cave climb. That means torches stay lit while climbing, without having to monkey around with throwing them and hoping they land in the right spot. It's something that was included in one of the updates during your hiatus from the channel.

Love Ash Canyon- a gorgeous region. But one that gets me turned around and lost so easily, especially if a blizzard comes in, or fog down in the Bottoms. Other than the TFTFT regions, AC is probably the one I am least familiar with.

AC is bad for that - sudden weather shifts with no warning. In most regions, if a fog or bad storm is coming in, you'll see a progression of worsening weather before the storm/thick fog, so you have time to respond. In Ash Canyon, I've had it go from sunny, calm wind, not a cloud in the sky to raging blizzard in 30 seconds a handful of times. Broken Railroad's the other region you have to watch out for sudden, wild weather shifts.
