@@MsVitaD As Peridiam mentioned, notable underdogs tend to get favor for AFP, Frank, with either being nominated or being HoH, and Victor, being a strong players who wasn’t afraid to play upon returns and getting voted out three time, had more relevance in their respective seasons

@@marklisowski6549 victor was not a strong player, he got evicted 3 times and only got 5th, I don’t like those reasons at all, I was never rooting for him and again he’s boring. Day had much more personality and her screaming at Paulie in jury was the best moment of the season idc

Johnny Mac may have the underdog people were rooting for, but James, like Donny, was that likable and entertaining presence and was an underdog in his own right as well.

Coupled with the fact that he didn’t even finish in the top 3.

I forgot about this. They were mad as sh**!!! Hahahaha...it was so delicious that Janelle received a call from Michael instead of family. I loved every minute of it!

Jessica wasn't great. Cody was more problematic with the transphobic stuff and the "alpha male" talk, but Jessica still has a lot of mean girl in her. She was selected by the fans as the anti-hero to Paul's mob of bullies. In any other season, Jess & Cody wouldn't have had a prayer at Americas Favorite.

I loved Cody he was actually normal and not over excited for no reason

Unlike Jeff, Cody wasn’t the only that caused quite a bit of controversy that season. After Dominque’s eviction, almost everyone else said or did something notably questionable. So, all except for Mark, Kevin, and maybe Alex would been a controversy pick for this.

Jessica was telling everyone to vote for Cody and campaigning for him. She didn't want the Jody fans to split the vote between them and neither win, and since she was on the outside she was campaigning for Cody. She basically said a vote for Cody was a vote for her. That's why she didn't win.

Also, I’m okay with Cody winning. Not because of the middle finger America was giving but also as an interesting case of being an anti-super fan, which I’m surprised the production hasn’t casted some of that lane in future season.

Umm... With how that season was played, I think it would have been either been Dick (if all Houseguest were eligible or Jessica (his showmance) if it was just jury, highlighting just how much America didn’t want to give Eric any direct break in the game.

Given how much of a sweetheart edit they gave them, I think it would have been one of the Donatos, probably Dick since the America's jury vote picked him over Daniele. If America really liked Eric wouldn't they have made choices that helped his game more?

It would've probably been between dick Danielle, and Jen. Jen was the closest thing to an underdog that season with the entire house hating her.

@@voodoomcspaghettipants4082 Nicole Anthony’s appeal is similar of Kemi but lasted longer (has Kemi made to at least jury, she may have had a chance at AFP) How the mega-alliance that season was treating them overall and in controversies was out of line and people were hoping someone on the out would be able to persevere through it. Nicole was able to get to the end despite Cliff’s stupidity.

I’m not surprised. James was more of prankster in a while that was legitimately entertaining and did it tastefully as well as being more aggressive than Johnny Mac when it came to power and gameplay despite winning the same amount comps. Johnny Mac was entertaining, but James was noted for someone who could disrupt things while Johnny Mac admittedly was a little more passive in term of gameplay.

johnny mac is one of my all time favorite BB players, but i completely understand james winning. he was just as comedic while still making moves and interacting with other houseguests

People, in almost the worst way with reality tv, loves and lives for someone who nice to someone’a face while taking all kinds of shit in a comical or snarky way behind their back in a confessional, and with how Big Brother is played, that is actually encouraged.

the funny thing is i watched this season when i was a kid and loved both rachel and britney. brit is probably my favorite player of all time, too bad her second time on BB sucked

@Jordan Bledsoe Questionable editing aside with Frank, he was the most relevant Houseguest nearly the entire time he was in the house by either getting into power, nominated or gaining safely every single week. Also, once Britney was evicted, I think people were trying to stan with her in spirit through Ian.

@@Charmdaplug Frank had issue of being too side and even self-righteous on his gameplay, causing hypocrisy noted by the feuding him and Britney had in the jury house (Britney to an indirect extent was aware of what she was doing)

Like Peridiam said, the fanbase rallied specifically for Cody as a "fuck you" to Paul and the others since they all hated Cody so much

As with all the controversy that season, Jason's behavior was hidden from the TV edit so most people watching/voting never knew it existed.

I think a decent amount of Cody's popularity was how he was so against the typical fanwhore type of player you get on BB these days who acts really fake and over the top. Cody wasn't that at all. It was a big reason why I was a fan of him and voted for him for AFP.

I respect your opinion but AFH isnt just about gameplay it's about just which houseguest was your favorite like it says in the title. Da' was pretty much the only person to actually do something against the big alliance of the house by using her Veto, she went in the house being one of the more entertaining houseguest, and she used this game and platform to talk about BLM. I know when you think of BB it's usually about the drama and competitions but the fact that she used this opportunity to talk about a really relevant issue is just another big reason why we love her. Again I respect your opinion of not thinking she deserved it I just wanted to say a few reasons why she won it

@@evaantoine1970 This is where getting to power benefitted James. Yes Johnny Mac won 4 vetoes but mainly had to the effect to save himself, outside of the Austin blindside. James was some, when he got into power, was someone who could make some disruption or potentially could do that (like when it got to 8 post-jury and people were hoping, when he won the veto he would HOH in the double overlooking quizzes are not James’s forte)

He and Candice both need to come back, because I would love to see how they play when they don't have to deal with the in your face racism that was prevalent throughout season 15
