The long, multi-coloured Sanghamitra Express speeds through Malur 

The Sanghamitra superfast express daily run from Bengaluru to Patna is seen here speeding through Malur coming in on a little bit of a gradient. This particular rake with its usual 23 coaches is long, and also colorful with multi-colored mismatched coaches from Humsafar, Duronto, and Antyodaya express rakes.
The train takes about 43 hours to complete its run from Bangalore to Patna and is obviously run with multiple rakes . The train now connects both Bangalore and Chennai to Patna daily, while years ago it started as a non daily service between Chennai and Patna.
