sometime visit Taganskaya subway station, there are 2 escalators, and Marksistskaya (that have underground way to Taganskaya) that also have very long escalator.

@@CBETdobra кстати, это уже не совсем так: в часы "пик" на многих станциях рекомендуют занимать обе стороны эскалатора. Есть соответствующие таблички. И периодически в течение дня по звуковому информатору об этом напоминают (значительно сокращаются очереди перед эскалаторами).
На счет 70 км есть сомнения. Скорее всего длина 57-58 км. Можете замерить сами на любой карте - квадрат с периметром 70 км вмещает в себя БКЛ полностью, что вызывает вопросы.
Remarkable how the western msm narrative and the realities of life are so divergent! Russia is building new, efficient, clean, and beautiful subway lines, while in America we cannot maintain our old rail lines which leads to train derailments. Russia's subways look clean and are beautiful, while here the subways are dirty, not maintained, and the scene of horrific violence. I am happy the Russian people are able to preserve their nation and look to their future. Hopefully the native birthrate will increase and their prosperity will grow. Nice new metro station loved the curved walls made out of marble, one thing about Moscow's metro stations is that they decorate them very classy, with stone/marble and make them look beautiful.

Cosmetic finishing of stations costs about 5% of the total cost of laying one station, so it is very little. It makes sense to make the station beautiful, as I had to spend a lot on its construction
I'm from Moscow and I have visited this station just after its official opening. The escalator is really long due to the depth of the station. People having fear of height please avoid visiting this station, or just take a look at the main hall, but don't go up or down the escalator! P.S. Одна станция да, есть уральские самоцветы, малахита нет но красивые панно из камня есть. Подозреваю что зеленый камень в этих панно змеевик. А вообще они у нас тематические но на столько современной красоты как в этом видео, нет. 🤷♀️🤔🤗❤️

I love the Moscow undergroundg, went there in 1993. Never seen anything like it before or since. The closest was the one in Pyongyang North Korea which is also quite impressive.

Really enjoying your channel mate. So interesting to watch. The one thing that stands out in Russia that I've seen, is the sheer size of russian architecture. They seem fascinated by it. A representation of their country maybe? And how do the people treat you? Friendly? Cautious? Hostile? I've met several russian people here in England ,and they always seem hesitant when I offer my good wishes and intentions. Almost amazed when I offer my hand in friendship! They do realise sincerity though ,and I'm proud to have met, and talked, in a non political way to these people. Could you do maybe a meet and greet with some of the people? Just an idea maybe. Hello David! I cannot speak on the behalf of all Russian people, I can speak only for myself. So I'm a person who is very cautious when it comes to other people - especially complete strangers. I don't know what to expect, so I choose to be kind of "cold" and very careful. But if I see that a person is genuine, then, gradually, I will feel more comfortable and open up a little. That's how it works for me 😀 as for the architecture, it's just nice hahah😁

Have you ever been to Saint Petersburg underground? The deepest in Russia and one of the deepest in the world Admiralteiskaya station is located at a depth of ~ 86 m underground.
Here is one major misunderstanding when it comes to the Big Circle Line (later reffered as BCL) length and station count, as 2 stations TEMPORARILY belong to it. You can see it as an "appendix" in the north-western sector of BCL. They will be transferred to Rublevo-Archangelskaya line (RAL) once the sector of that line related to these stations will be completed (est. 2026-2027). So the actual numbers on Moscow BCL are 29 stations and 65 km (≈40 mi, still the longest metro circle line in the world though) of tracks, the whole trip around it will take 1.5 hours to complete. As for me as a Mockovite, this is a huge accomplishment and massive congratulations to everyone who worked on it! This won't exactly help my trips around the city, but I am sure this will help many others to find faster ways to their destinations. Bravo!

@@theMerzavets Подниматься особенно весело, я живу в Санкт Петербурге и моя родная станция метро Академическая, её глубина как раз 65 метров и спуск занимает те же 3 минуты как на видео, я иногда балуюсь и поднимаюсь пешком с самого низа, до самого верха, стараюсь идти как можно быстрее и с постоянным темпом, задачка я вам скажу не для слабаков, если у вас проблемы с дыханием, или с сердцем то даже не пробуйте подняться.
130 метров на 183 секунды (3 минуты 3 секунды) это 0,71 м/с или 2,656 км/ч. Согласно «Правилам устройства и безопасной эксплуатации эскалаторов» ПБ 10-77-94, скорость эскалатора должна быть не более 0,75 м/с. Раньше использовалась большая скорость, до 0,95, но это было слишком быстро и небезопасно, да и, провозная способность при такой скорости была меньше, человек не успевал встать на эскалатор за предыдущим и ступени уходили ненагруженными. Если эскалатор аварийно остановится с большей скорости, чем по госту, вы по инерции движения птичкой улетите вперед, и будете лететь и кувыркаться. Все еще хотите прибавить газу? :)

Hello, Russel. I was in Moscow as a student 3 years ago, actually I'm russian-speaking man, but I don't live in Russia, subway is incredible, but not so comfortable. I had to get to the university on the purple subway line. And it was terrible, because the congestion of the purple line has alwys been prohibitive. Now there is the Big Circle Line, passing the violet line, I hope it is very comfortable.
I'm pretty certain when I got off one stop too early i ended up here walked up this escalator and realised I got off too early and had to cancel my appointment.
в Москве эскалаторы катятся быстрее, чем в Питере. Там бы уснуть можно, пока доберешься до платформы, да и тетеньки дежурные уговаривают не идти по эскалатору, дабы не упасть )))
В Питере разные эскалаторы, на моей станции Академическая в 2019 сделали ремонт и эскалатор идет также быстро как на видео, глубина Академической почти такая же 65 метров и спуск осуществляется примерно за 3 минуты.
