Minecraft Speedrunning was supposed to be an activity where you beat Minecraft the fastest. However, some of you may be wondering about the longest possible Minecraft speedrun. Spoiler alert: It's not infinite.

Sedna, a very VERY far-out sort of dwarf planet would actually be better than pluto and less cosmic rays would be hitting you, and the much longer orbital period would reduce the risk of any sort of star interfering with it a lot.... also if you ever need any sort of fact check for your videos that are this kind of topic you can ask me, I understand orbital physics and stuff and sort of studying to work in that area.

Actually because of how far Sedna is from the sun (about 10x further than Pluto) it is much more weakly gravitationally bound to the sun then Pluto is making it much easier for passing stars (or even rogue planets) to interfere with it's orbit and possibly even making it a rogue dwarf planet.

@@Universal_Anomalies ah, yes but it is also more unlikely that something comes close to it by a lot because of its bigger orbit but a smaller change in velocity would make it's orbit go haywire and there would be less of a chance that is would ever interfere with a flyby with another star that could fling something like earth out, we have seen things is stupidly high orbits around the sun like "planet 9" that have not been interfered with so yeah its difficult to find which is better

once your day count in the world reaches the 64-bit integer your world corrupts and it becomes basically impossible to play after that. i think theres an antvenom video on that.

How about the 64 bit integer limit though? While it would take in theory around 4 million times longer to reach compared to the 32 bit integer limit, I don’t really know what would happen when the computer eventually reached it. What I do know though is that it WOULD happen before proton decay, and if it the integer limit was able to end the run it would trim down the time by quite a bit.

2:45 funny thing is this happened to me due to a guest account multiplayer glitch on my friends Xbox in Minecraft I reported into the world on my friends guest account and it spawned back in the end dimension with no items so somehow yes this rare glitch can occur
