A boy searches for a way to win the affection of the girl of his dreams. He comes across the story of the Lorax, the grumpy yet charming creature who fights to protect his world.
I have searched all the "behind cameras" of this film and as a once-ling the fact that l can't see Ed voicing the onceler makes me think about suicide :""v
YESSS I heard the song from The Lorax after just finishing The Office and I was like 'Wait.. that kinda sounds like Andy from The Office..' THATS WHY HE WAS ABSENT IN A FEW EPISODES IN SEASON 9!!
whenever i fall in the love with a movie i start looking up behind the scenes ALL the time I really want to be an actress or part of the acting community when im older or now depends on what happens
A lot of those lines weren't in the movie. Also, until a while ago I would have sworn OHare's voice was done by Jason Alexander. They sound similar. & Isn't it kinda weird Taylor Swift was in a musical cartoon, yet her character never sings?!
I do love this movie & the book it's based on. Such a good message, especially in this day & age when corporations are doing so much damage to the environment! Remember..UNLESS!
The Lorax is honestly not as bad as people make it out to be, sure some jokes don't quite land, there are some songs that we can live without, and the villain (Mr. Ohare) here is your typical cliche businessman villain complimented (or should I say cursed) with Illuminations weird human decision look. It's not the best and it's definitely not the worse from Illumination, but I can't help but feel warm and fuzzy and happy whenever I watch it (and that's coming from someone who is 18 years old), most of the voice acting here is good like I didn't recognize Zac Efron and Taylor surprisingly and I been a fan of her since I was 11 and of course major props to Danny Devito, even though I recognize his voice right off the bat, he brought something to the Lorax character that, I don't know how to describe it, but it touched my soul. Now, I haven't read the book since I was like 9, so of course there could be some things in here they changed compared to the book that made Dr. Seuss fans angry, which is understandable, but we should all expect changes when it comes to these types of films you guys, besides even the best movies based off children book films changed something to match pacing or just to try something unique and fresh. Overall, I feel like this film has gotten a tiny bit more appreciation from people over the years and even till this day I think critics are crazy. No joke, I recently rewatched this film after such a long time in my 12th grade Economics class just a few days ago and everyone in my class enjoyed it, including the people who never watched it or heard of the book. It was a good laugh and my childlike heart can't fully hate it solid 8/10
Nice comment! For me, it is very common to like a film a lot and see that it got received negatively by critics. I guess that makes sense, because critics are supposed to be critical, and I just try to enjoy a film as much as I can. There have also been films I disliked, however.
Ok, This movie is one of those movies that has an awesome cast. Each brings something unique and different to his or her character. P.S- Zac Efron is SUCH a hottie and Betty White is the BEST!!!!!! She's doing really great for her age.
Betty white is amazing she's my favorite!!!!! She's my favorite character in this movie she played her part amazingly!!!!!! She's the best I love her sooo much!
OMG is our generation really this crap? Your all going on about Taylor Swift and Zac and not appreciating the great actor that is Danny DeVito? Are you kidding me? He's been in Hercules!!! Give the man some credit geez...
Nobody's giving any credit or whatever to anybody. Even in the title it doesn't said there that Taylor or Zac are the great ones! It's just that the fans love them so much that they're commenting something about it. Danny is a great actor we all know that! But in here, the people are just giving their opinions which dont include him. Dont be rubbish sir! Just respect everybody's opinions.
