@David Fleming I have been watching all manner of preachers for years and Paul Washer happens to be among the most biblically sound. I'm not saying he is infallible but usually people who don't like him tend to be of the hyper grace movement. People who cherry pick all the verses on salvation by faith alone, while neglecting all the verses about works and repentance as evidence of a truly regenerate heart. Typically these people tend to live like the world. They aren't broken over sin and have no problem doing so. They use Christ as a licence to sin as where a born again believer sins and is broken over it. Paul Washer brings an excellent balance between grace and repentance. Better than any other pastor I have listened to. I don't know how long you have been a Christian but to condemn someone because their interpretation of scripture differs from yours is playing with fire. No one has ALL knowledge and we are constantly learning all throughout our lives. It makes no sense to condemn someone for a doctrinal error. Just remember that you will be judged by the same standard you judge others. If you are ever in doctrinal error then you will be judged in the same way you have judged Paul Washer unless you repent.
I testify that he speaks truth about the difference between unsaved and saved. I first asked Jesus into my heart at 12...and again at 14...and again later, I'm sure. I kept doing it because I never felt changed. In my twenties, the idea that I was "lukewarm" crossed my mind, but I brushed it off. I prayed every day, didn't I? I went to church most weeks. I was fine. Fast forward until I turned 41. I was divorced and about to be remarried, and it came to me strongly: "You are lukewarm. I stand at the door and knock. If you will open the door, I will come in." I determined in my heart to be on fire for Him. I started reading my Bible every single night, and He led me to groups of Christians both online and in real life. I. Was. Changed. I started to hear Him speak to me while I read my Bible. He would pop a question into my mind as I would start to read that would be answered by the end of the passage. He would highlight passages to me that I could speak to others in comfort the next day or that would give me comfort myself. Now that I have been on both sides, I see the difference. I call it being "plugged in," and I see that so many people who believe with their minds haven't been changed by God. It breaks my heart. If this sounds like you, ask Him to change you. He is faithful, and He will do it. God bless.

Pastor Washer and Pastor Charles Lawson are among the very few left. I listen to every sermon I can find that they have given, and watch the livestream on Pastor Lawson's website every Wednesday and Sunday. There are no true churches of Christ here in Western Massachusetts anymore. They have been infiltrated by the enemy.

not a weird place at all dear friend--i will pray for to be healed--but you pray to let God be glorified whether h chooses to heal you or not, in the way you desire. i believe in healing. but i also know that it comes in different ways. if you are a christian, and a child of God, he will never give you a snake when you ask for a fish, or give you a stone when you ask for bread. (luke 11:11) i love you, but most importantly God loves you...rest in that. Give him your life, no matter what shape its in. remember that Christ suffered all of our sin and sickness on the cross. he has been where you are now. he understands. he will carry you.

There is a lamenting, monotonous tone to his message, never any joy, never any hope. He presents a God that is impossible to please. An angry God, eager to punish people. And of course, the very criterion of being saved, knowledgeable, etc, is that you applaud his messages. Cause if you don't it's because you're a sinner. Classical example of begging the question.

Ear-tickling false preaching is rampant, false senses of assurance (Matthew Chapter 7), "Christians" living just like the rest of the world (no regeneration, not a "new creature"), and most importantly people with a very low view of God and a very high view of themselves. Many Preachers throughout church history would make it a point to draw all attention to God through their speaking, and not to themselves, avoiding attempts to sound eloquent and drum up emotional responses from the hearers of the Word (a couple examples: Spurgeon, J. Edwards). I don't get the sense Washer wants any applause from anyone. God IS impossible to please....apart from the redemptive work of His Son who was the propitiation for our sins. Apart from Him we can do NOTHING (John 15). He is preaching from the Word of God, and either he is a false prophet or he is telling the truth. In the same way, Jesus is either who He said He is (The Son of God), or He is a liar. Our problem is not with Paul Washer, but with God if he is correctly interpreting the Bible. The Old Testament, and even the Apostle Paul's letters to the churches speak very little about Hell. That is primarily found within the words of our Lord Jesus. Most importantly, the "criterion of being saved" is not to applaud Washer's messages, but it is to repent, believe in Jesus by trusting in Him and not in yourself to save you, and become a new creature (by the power of the Holy Spirit) in Christ ("REGENERATION") being sanctified day by day. As Washer said in his most well-known sermon, "You don't have an encounter (be run over) with a 30-ton log truck and not be changed." In the same way if we rightly say we know Jesus, there will be evidence that comes not from our own strength and self-effort, but from God, through Jesus, by the power of the Holy Spirit. As Jonathan Edwards said, You contribute nothing to your salvation except the very sin that caused it to be necessary in the first place." We carry out our will according to our nature. Do you have a new nature this day?

I'm both heartbroken and furious that many in the modern church, sincerely believe you can be an unrepentant sinner, live like a demon, and still be saved. All because they recited a sinner's prayer. BigBad John. Everyone of us must have repentance of our heart. Sin in our life that never never be happy. I deal with my sin weekly. If i have any sin i will confess to god and have repentance heart before sunday. I just tear down my masks to be real to god. When comes on sunday it will be so easy for me to fellowship with my brothers and sisters in my church... i dont have to carry those burden of sins and darkness of my life that make me unhappy. I am very happy to have daily devotion with god that he plant his word to my heart to learn what will be god teaching me everyday. So that my life can transform of his word....Amen

Great sermon, but don't be misled by the title: he never so much as mentions the Rapture. So, if you're looking for a spirited round of pre-trib vs post-trib fisticuffs, I'm afraid you're going to be disappointed. This man does nothing but preach the gospel. And I wish God would raise up a hundred more just like him and turn 'em loose on churches all over America.
there are many things in the bible that have like another word for it in another language as well. For example the peaceful Kingdom where Jesus rules with his saints for a 1000 years.

It is unthinkable not to change after lostening to just one of Paul Washer's sermon. Each time I hear his preachings, attributes of Jehovah, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit are well defined. Through him, the scripture saying that faith comes through hearing becomes alive so I want to be more and more like Christ and less and less of this world

For sure! I noticed a lot of people were confused and thought he meant it was by works but I believe that he meant that if someone is truly saved their faith will produce works.
As believers in Christ which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord we comfort one another with these words...1 Thessalonians 4:16 -167 for the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of archangel, and with the trump of God and the dead in Christ shall rise first. Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air, and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

Especially when our children and/or family members are in the darkness it is so terribly grieving in our hearts to know that they are facing eternal Hell. I am a mum of three adult kids(30y.,29y.and 28y.). I pray fervently that GOD will grant them the gift of faith and everlasting life. This morning i woke up from a dream in which i pleaded with my two daughters to entrust their lives unto the Lord Jesus Christ as their Lord and saviour. They resisted in my dream and i woke up with tears in my eyes. I trust that GOD is in charge and will give me the Opportunities to witness to my dear two daughters and my dear son. Also my sister and my dad are still outside of the kingdom of God and i pray that GOD will reveal HIMSELF to them too. GOD BLESS YOUR ENTIRE MINISTRY!!

So how can we see the day of the Lord approaching if it comes as a thief? (1 Thes. 5:2-7) Our Jesus highlighted the events we should be watching for; events warning us His coming is near. (Rev. 3:3, Mat. 24:33) The overcomers will look for their physical redemption when the heavens go dark. (Luke 21:25-28, Mat. 24:29) After they’re gathered to heaven (Rev. 7:9-17), the day of the Lord will begin with fire. (Rev. 8:5-7) His coming and His wrath will be back to back events. (Luke 17:24-30)

Thank you for Pastor Paul Washer’s sermons. Ever since I came across his sermons I have been listening mostly to his sermons. He not only preaches the Word of God but he preaches to your heart 😲. Wow! His sermons are a wake up call to most Christians! I pray that those who hear and need repentance will repent and get right with our Lord and Savior. I have one question to ask of Pastor Paul. Would you say we are keeping the Fourth Commandment? If not, then we all have sinned! This question has been nagging me for years! I hope Pastor Paul can preach a sermon on this. There I met the true Christians the little old ladies that truly loved Jesus; Thats where I found the true Jesus that loved me and I needed love I learned to memorize the bible to know my GOD my treasure.

(2 Thes. 2:1-4)If being saved meant you’re ready for His coming, then the warnings to watch and not be deceived would be meaningless. The 1970’s in America was a miraculous time for millions inheriting the kingdom of God. I was born again in the autumn of 1975. From day one, I loved studying eschatology. The Late Great Planet Earth was my favorite book. Waiting for my Jesus to come back at any moment was so exciting. Yet the more I studied, the more questions I had. Finding answers always led to a frustrating dead end. In 1986, I graduated from seminary and entered the full time ministry. As a pastor, I taught the gathering of believers unto Jesus at His coming must come before the Man of Sin is revealed. In the fall of 1990, an answer to prayer changed what I always believed. My eyes were miraculously opened to the truth. It was like pieces of a puzzle fitting together perfectly. Understanding the timing of His coming was profound; yet so simple. Our Lord gave us specific events to watch for; future events which will warn us His coming is near. I had no idea the Holy Spirit was preparing me to be a watchman to the church in these last days. For that I will always be grateful.

Charles Stanley used to believe in OSAS but I guess you can say he repented of that long ago. He now preaches about being born again. I guess you can say he watched a bit of Paul Washer and learned his mistakes.

Deadly Beauty I've read the whole King James Version twice and the NIV maybe more than 5 times. Our church uses the NKJV. I prefer the NIV because it's easier for me to understand. I think NASB is okay, so you can read it if you have it. I'm not moved by people who say KJV is the correct translation and this or that translation is polluted or even evil, although I wouldn't read The Message. You have to read whole Bible so you can see for yourself whether one is preaching the Word. For me as long as it's not a salvation issue or the Deity of the Lord, we can agree to disagree. I watch out of those who claim there understanding of the Bible is the only correct one. I don't judge preachers, although I wouldn't listen to Joel Osteen because for me his messages are inspirational only. I need something deeper, something that would stir my heart or simply the full Gospel. At any rate, don't give up. Isaiah 55 is a good one. It says: "Come, all you who are thirsty... " v.6 says: Seek the Lord while he may be found..." God bless.
All bible believing Christians believe in the rapture. The Bible clearly teaches it however it does not teach a secret rapture as Dispensationalism heresy teaches. There is one 2nd coming only in one stage at the return of Christ. Study the subject with a view toward learning truth not man made fiction (Dispensationalism which was invented in England in the 1830s).

Dispensationalism is an invention of the 1830s, popularized by the Scofield reference bible and is nothing but heresy through and through. Keep on your attacks, they will not change anyhing. The Jesuit order known as the society of Jesus {SJ} was founded in 1540 by Ignatius of Loyola and was created as part of the Counter-Reformation which the Catholic Church undertook in the Council of Trent in 1545. In a very real sense it became the military arm of the church. Francisco Ribera (1537-1591) was a Spanish Jesuit theologian. (Read the following very closely for it really caught on like "wildfire" much later in history) Ribera was tasked with countering the current popular belief that the Papacy is the Antichrist. Ribera invented a system known as the Futurist School of interpretation. He taught that the antichrist was to be some future "superman" who would appear near the end of time and continue in power for three and a half years. It is his clever, unscriptural theory which has been resurrected by many modern evangelical Protestant Christians. Unfortunately this theory is being taught in seminaries across the world. Mostly I believe these advocates of futurism have been deceived, but I think some of them have been part of a grand conspiracy orchestrated from the pit of hell itself to "if possible, deceive the very elect..." In the early1800's the futurist view of Jesuit Ribera passed through certain refinements and additions, including the seven-year tribulation and the snatching away of the saints. I was so naive and ignorant when I first became a Christian. I thought all Christians believed the same thing, that everyone that went to church was a loving God fearing person, I thought church would be a refuge from politics, drama and worldly things. I find myself much closer to God listening to sermons on RU-vid and reading my Bible than going to church. I'm grateful content like this exists! Thank you.
I just listened to your sermon on Romans 3. I have committed the sin unto death, but your sermon awakened some desire in me, something in me. It's like I WANT it! I WANT JESUS! I want it, but this incurable wound that happened when I denounced Him is blocking me! I blame it also on my sinful nature. I want Jesus to LOVE ME LIKE HE used to, before I denounced Him. I want that sweet Spiritual Bible wisdom back He was giving me. I want His plan for my life back! If Jesus can't love me like He did before, then I want it to not have to go to hell, but I MUCH RATHER want His love back! Do I really? I feel so undone. I also want to fulfill my dream to be a good-looking guy and get a song or two out. I CANNOT GIVE THESE DREAMS UP! I keep telling Jesus, "YOU take it all in YOUR hands! YOU amputate. I can't do it! And in other situation i was tempted by teachings (that are good but i misunderstood) and i was like in every night cry and stay on my knees and tell God please tell me who i am, am i born again,am i your child,and i only can get sleep with the thought that maybe youl speak to me in sleep or tomorrow but no.And i was arriving so badly that i tell,maybe God dont love me,maybe isnt for me,but i cant just go so i continued,but i speaked with my god and i realized that God wasnt speaking with me because i was blind and wouldn't see anyway. But then my concern was maybe i crucigied jesus second time and still i wasnt open like you but i realized that in this verse is speaking about people that harden theyre hearts that they wouldn't want to repent.The jews in desert could repent,Cain coul repent,And yes ADAM AND EVE COULD REPENT, YOU CAN REPENT.DONT BE BLIND
for me when i listened to his other message that shocked the world did i see i was not a Christian i threw away everything i thought i knew away and started over though i had turned away from many things i still held fast that the prayer i prayed had saved me when that belief is what was leading me astray i have always said to my grandkids friends strangers tghat there is nothing more important than Jesus Christ

Listen Christians, the hardest thing for us to do is look inward and admit we are doing it wrong. If you look at Paul and say he is wrong for convicting people to walk the right path, you should look inward and admit you are wrong. What Paul says matches scripture. What you say denys scripture. Don't try to pick what scripture you like and ignore the ones you don't. Those same scriptures you ignore will be used to judge you when you stand before Him... repent and prepare.
Paul Washer you are trully send from god to preach the awesome sermon to us. Thank you for your wonderful sermon that you taught us. Everyone of us seriously have to take care of our salvation. Our relationship with god its very important to us. Yes this is our life. Sin our life must come with Repentance heart. the bible indeed the book of life that help me to walk closer with god. Jesus die on the cross because of sin and darkness he was willing to die for us. The Cross its help me to appreciate Jesus that he already paid the price for us... i am very gateful to god what he has done for me. I have been having the relationship with god daily so that my heart can be transform. In the past i was living a sunday christian. Last year July i decided to go through spiritual heart surgery of Proverbs. Its was not easy to allow god to come into my life. Proverbs 5 till 20 god work in my heart really hard. I nearly give up of the Spiritual heart surgery. And i continue to move on Proverbs everyday till Proverbs 31. Praise the Lord god transform my heart and i getting happy since then. I begin to open my eyes to see that the bible not only Love, Joy and Peace. God' word from the book Proverbs 15 to 20 times very harsh then all the Pastor preach in church. If anyone of you cant accept Paul Washer preach. What about God. Do you think you can accept god's word from the bible. The bible is not Love, Joy and Peace. You need to obey the whole bible. I have enjoyed Paul Washer for a long time. He preached from years of reading the Puritans. But he was not diligent in seeking the truth regarding bible translations. His bible quotes Jesus in a lie!! In John 7 his Jesus says you go to the feast, I am not going, he waited and goes. BLASPHEMY! Jesus actually says I am not yet going. Ask Jesus to send the Holy Spirit to convince you of sin. He will if you want it. Ask Jesus to forgive you as the sins come up. When you see your desparate need than you can know how beautiful his gift is. Do not depend on man, though good sermons are helpful, but spend time in the word just simply saying, Lord I want to know You. Show me what you love. Blessings.
