Same here, and for The Two Towers as well. If I was running a video game company, such as PlayStation, I would make a Throwback of The Lord of the Rings with The Two Towers, The Return of the King, and The Third Age together for the modern consoles like the PS4 and the PS5
@@samuelkooiman3005 I would remaster them if it were up to me and make sure that they're the good remastered games and not the bad ones. Also, I'd set them up as a cross-gen for the current and past gen consoles (PS4&PS5, XO&XSX?S) if I must

Childhood Memories here. Remember this being the demo that played it you stayed idle at the menu. I was 10-11 years old when I played this 10 years on now I'm play Shadow of Mordor on next gen which feels weird thinking and looking back at this game. Classic
@@PapaSmurff660 both OG Xbox and PS2. Xbox supports 480p natively vs 480i on the PS2. For both consoles I have an analog to HDMI converter, since my TV's too new to have component RCA inputs.
If not a remaster/remake... Microsoft better convince EA to add these two games to the BackCompat catalog and also support resolution boosts like some of the other OG and 360 games on Xbox One and Series X/S. Also Mechassault 1 and 2!

Joltz The Gamer true I was around 5 when I co-op'd trough the whole game with my old man I always have liked elf's so I naturally went with Legollas no knowing a thing about LOTR or the characters and I just spammed arrows all the time XD by the time I got the double piercing bouncing purple arrow as the game was a breeze

I remember the first console I got was a ps2 with return of the king. I was 8 and I constantly played it to the fact I finished it within 4 hours and I loved every minute of it... Im a massive LOTR fan and they should really bring a game like this mixed with conquest to next gen. Takes Me back just looking at videos.
@@skyguy696 I played as aragorn because he my favourite and the true king of gondor. But yh legolas was so op it was funny to Play as him. Also I freaking loved the instant kill combo's.

I used to play this with my little brother when we were kids. He was a LOT better than me so I spent hours just translating stuff for him from English while he pwnd the game without any problems.. I miss that guy
I was amazed back then when I was 10 and my parents give me this game as a gift on my birthday in 2003, the graphics were awesome at that time lol, one of the best games ever.
I think this was the first time I heard Requiem for a Dream as a kid, then I later watched that movie when I found out it was a movie too lol. Great game! Sadly, the game just freezes on my xbox 360 when I insert xbox version :(
im not sure if anyone can resist playing this game after seeing the trailer! it was one of the first games i played and i simply love it. South Gate level FTW!! I love just going through that level and clearing out every single enemy, even all of the ones that are supposed to spawn! Man, im going to have to go play that game again :) not complaining XD
when people say movie games suck they didn't play this and the two towers both were great games and I still have great memories playing them both good and bad
@@PapaSmurff660 those two, spiderman 1, 2 and 3 and star wars revenge of the sith was good too. Incredibles was a good game too. But i mean its all about what youd classify as a good game, they were pretty good to me anyways.

so, back in 2005, i just my PS2 and need a game to play on it... what better game than the one about one of my favorite movies ever? and never have i been disappointed by that game, my brother and i would play hours in coop mode, it's probably one of the best LotR game

Both parts Two Towers & Return of the king are magnificent games, definitely top 10 best xbox games. "Demon stone" is another amazing game made by the makers of Lord of the rings games.
This game is awsomnest game ever, i mean its most fun, like wow i cant stop playing this, i played assasins creed 1, 2, Crysus, MW2, WoW, ..... and from all those "new" games (well wow isnt new game) this one (from 2004, or 2005) is most fun of all!!!!
@tigerstar4life they alredy have one in the making. its called aragorns quest. you can play as aragorn,(obviously)gandalf, i think legolas and gimli are there too.
@josueisjosue pay attention to the map, kick all the ladders, try to avoid as many orcs as possible. When the las tower comes, kill them as fast as you can. I personally found it was best to do quick, running attacks instead of standing and fighting
