The Three were created without Sauron’s help and as soon as the One Ring was forged the elves removed them from their hands and did not wear them again until the Third Age.
Well said. It is simply amazing how these hacks fail to understand that a classic is not in need of improvement or modernization! They are classics because they are already of high quality and have appealed to multiple generations without alteration.
@@nathanlanders9208They have the rights to the LotR trilogy, the Appendices, and the Hobbit, which brings in the question of why they are making a show set in a different age than what they have the rights to adapt.
@@nolaw7949 She didn't at the end of season 1, knowing Sauron had a hand in Celebrimbor creating the Elven rings, and pushing for them to be made anyway without warning anybody. For some reason.
he is not men meaning human he's a member of the Ainur species immortal spirits existing before the Creation in J. R. R. Tolkien's fictional universe. These were the first beings made of the thought of Eru Ilúvatar. They were able to sing such beautiful music that the world was created from it. Stop insisting on seeing everything as an american socio-political conflict.
Except it probably would have been worse without Peter Jackson. He came in at last minute to cover the previous director who resigned. None of that movie was in his vision.
Because love and care went into them. Heck- look at the wargs from PJ's films. The LotR version looks like a cave painting, but STILL looks better then the cartoony chihuahua from RoP.
@@Alva_Film they look better not because of nostalgia but because of practical effects(prosthetics, miniatures, mechanic arms etc.) slashed with CGI and here is only CGI hence it looks unrealistic
My favorite part is when Gandalf, alongside the Doctor, Han Solo, and Marty McFly, teams up with Captain Kirk and Ripley from Aliens to face off against a hybrid Saruman-Terminator Time Travel Robot in a chaotic final battle at Mount Doom. The unexpected alliances and confrontations, like Rick Sanchez accidentally summoning Daniel Jackson through a Stargate and Mad Max navigating Middle-earth in his post-apocalyptic car really make this story worth seeing !!
Bro, you need to start noticing details before making fun. He indeed comes to celebrimbor as Halbrand again and then he shows him who he truly is., showing him his godly form.
he would say who are you though even if he knew or did not know it was Halbrand, you would be like hang on you were a man now your a elf you can change forms who are you really and if you were deceived you would be like you've just come through a big fire portal who are you ?
Loved the part where Sauron screamed "You killed my father! prepare to die" and charged alongside Ironman and Captain America to defeat Anakin. Chills!!!
Nowhere in the books does it state that Sauron didn't know about the Three. But it does say that the Three were subject to the One Ring and lost all their powers after the destruction of the One.
All the pain and suffering in the world, all the disease and famine that could be helped with the billions of dollars that Amazon have, they decide to spend it on this monstrosity of a TV show - causing more pain and suffering.
O show mais assistido da história da Amazon, no qual nunca teve problemas ou reclamações de audiência realmente vai se importar com a opinião de alguém irrelevante.
@@TheLOTR_LOVER every other IP named in this section deserves to be there, but house of the dragon? Seriously? Too many big words for you to understand?
“Ok, so we’ve had some feedback on things that people didn’t like about the first season, & we’ve decided to just lean into that so that people will hate watch the show”
It is still utterly ridiculous that Galadriel apparently could not see Sauron in the dude. She is supposed to "see in the hearts of others", how the hell did he fooled her with a generic handsome Hollywood dude look?
@Geohillierneo why did he appear as a scruffy, filthy looking human man named Halbrand then? If he wanted to decieve the elves, he should have taken the form he did in the book, a pretty elf/maiar named anatar. in thr amazon show; he doesnt take that form until AFTER the rings are forged. master of manipulation yea right.
The whole bloody point of Three Rings was that Sauron never touched them, and couldn't control them the same way he controled Seven and Nine. How TF can you get wrong absolutely everything?
Actually not really. From "Of the rings of power and the third age" in The Silmarillion: " And while he wore the One Ring he could perceive all the things that were done by means of the lesser rings, and he could see and govern the very thoughts of those that wore them. But the Elves were not so lightly to be caught. As soon as Sauron set the One Ring upon his finger they were aware of him; and they knew him, and perceived that he would be master of them, and of all that they wrought." In other words, three rings were still subject to the One Ring. That's why the elves took them off the moment they caught wind of the One.
It's funny to see how many people who justify their hatred by not following canon end up on inspection not even knowing that very canon. It's always the same conclusion as a cliché.
Werent the 3 elf rings free from Saurons corruption and only the 7 dwarven and 9 human rings binded by Sauron? Geniune question im a little hazy on the ring lore. It seems in this trailer they are saying the 3 elf rings are also corrupted
"But the Elves were not so likely to be caught as Men, and so soon as Sauron set the One Ring upon his finger, they were aware of him, and they hid the Three which he had made; and there was no power then in the One Ring to compel them. And they remained unsullied, for they had been forged by Celebrimbor alone, and the hand of Sauron had never touched them. Yet they were also subject to the One."
The hubris from the writers of this show is beyond all the darkest realms of elves, men and dwarves. Even the Balrog doesnt venture that deep into the darkness.
@@zeroalpha9713go read the source and then come back. This show is not a 10/10 adaptation of loosely told dates and events which aren't expanded upon as greatly as in the Silmarillion, but it does a decent job
@@BasedHorrigan It does a terrible job and completely botches the substance of those characters we know, not to mention botching the tone of Tolkien's worldbuilding in general. It's complete dreck unworthy of being even loosely associated with Tolkien's work.
@@bandgeekforlife406 substance? the events that the series touches upon are a footnote of tolkien's work. let them do whatever with rop, pray that they don't delve into Beren & Lúthien, Fall of Gondolin or Children of Húrin. Those are the works that truly matter.
If this is: A, taken as an alternate history. B, written by a different team from the first series it could be OK. One thing it has on the Wheel of Time TV show is at least it doesn't look cheap.
@@Geohillierneowhat are you on about? sauron didn't make the rings so there is plenty wrong with the trailer, also season 1 is pretty much unanimously hated because it disrespects Tolkiens legacy.
Prequels are inherently boring and derivative because we already know the ending. There's no suspense when most of the characters have plot armor since they are known to be alive after the prequel. Also there's very little room for mystery, adventure, or discovery because we already had the rules of the setting explained for us. The prequel is never going to surpass the original story and will always be overshadowed. This applies to all prequel works including: Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, the Sopranos, Star Trek, Game of Thrones, etc. It's sad how many creators are wasting their time on prequel projects which seem like safe bets but are actually doomed to underwhelm. The only exception is Warhammer 40K because the most exciting events happened 10,000 years ago during the Horus Heresy. The main drama of the setting happened at 30K.
The most expensive fanfiction in the history of mankind... Btw did they find all the actors at a cosplay convention or something?? Why do they look so terrible? 🤨
Spending Billions of $ to make a mockery out of Tolkien's great work, is quite a job done. Makes me sad to read the comments and remembering the original series.
As predicted, season one was to set up the storyline. I’m looking forward to how season two will expand the groundwork of season one. Looks like a lot more actions for disgruntled fans lol
