To be honest the lore is actually pretty cool, the gameplay puts you as a regular soldier in the frontlines where the lore states you as "super soldiers" due to being able to survive 38 minutes of constant Nusian assault. Although the exact details into the maps we play are very scarce it is still actually pretty cool that you are regarded as the strongest soldiers the Dummies had

Gotta love how noobs create extremely high-tech things and yet they cut a hole in a shielder’s shield just conveniently where their head is 🗿

“HELLMET” is also connected as a prequel to the dummies vs noobs lore. (i didnt watch the video and dont know if this game is mentioned. but its made and connected by the same DvN creator and its such an amazing game thats super brutally realistic. like hostages, helmet cam pov, gear, just a realistic door breaching game.)

I just love the feel and theme that this game has, that at the end of the day you're all just soldiers. Even though Dominians have committed quite a few questionable actions, you don't feel evil at all because you're just fighting for your life. The defector's description was absolutely right. "In war, it doesn't matter who's right; only who's left."

Fun fact:some bosses have tragic moments in lore like Prometheus had ptsd and cannot rescue his fire team in a giant fire (which happend at the nusian captial) and thats the reason why when you destroyed the fuel tanks of Prometheus he sercchs

Some facts you may find very useful The Dominion of Pin Zhao aka the Dummies are based on the general Asian culture (originally was just gonna be Chinese-Korean, but it was just changed to just general Asia itself) The Noobic Republic is based on the western culture, basically Europe and then the United States The Guesans are based on Arabic culture The Bacians are... latins apparently, I'm not sure about this lol The powerful semi-futuristic Nusian technology that you see such as the new tanks, platform, the APUs were created with major aid from the Guesans as they are extremely smart and flourish in engineering. We fall back behind the technology of the nusians and the guesans but we have some of the technology that they have not touched their hands on thus, we are entrusted to defend certain locations that contain our treasures which are the technology they are yet to receive Most of the skins aren't canon unfortunately Because of the fact that the Dummies are outnumbered their majors would be survival training Nusians on the other hand would be majors in swarm tactics. The reason why we seem more advanced than of the average infantry units of the noobic republic is that some of our weapons that have access to are one of the advanced our military can muster or stolen technology or uniquely crafted weapons (i.e The Bolter, given better ammunition thus infinite piercing) and the detonator itself) Theres probably so much more but thats all i can think rn If you want to cover bosses there are google docs out there that are official lore written by the developer himself that covers the lore of the bosses you encounter in the game. The Platform was a art of destruction against the Dummies, though the cost of maintenance of the Platform was large, the advantage it had over the battlefield was considered worth the trouble. anyways nice to see you play DvN even though i never go into a public server cause i like doing stuff solo in a private server, i appreciate clearing the lore for us i had trouble understanding it

You're fighting, a fricking land dispute. This entire game, was a god damn land dispute; a snowballed land skirmish, AND YOU KNOW WHAT? WITHIN TWENTY YEARS, the apoclypse begins. Nineteen, NINETEEN years of war. FOR ALMOST NOTHING.

after the events of epilouge, the entire dominian race vanished, all of their things left as is. The following events are basically the entire world goes into shambles the infertility incident nusians building bunkers to save 1/3 of the baseplate 2/3 of the baseplate population (outside the bunkers) die and are presumed extinct "you cant stop me, 7derpaw! in the margins now i will be set free" -4:07

For those not caught up there is more lore revealed for what happens after epilogue which I'll try to summarize here. -Some time after epilogue all dummies on the baseplate vanish without a trace leaving the noobs to take over -New disease arrives that causes most life on the planet to be infertile -Most goverment owned banks go bankrupt -Supervolcano erupts causing a global winter and increased sulphur in the air -In 2053 (8 years after epilogue) the noobs finally announce that everything is fucked and they shpuld start preparing for the increasing cold -Oceans start to freeze and a bunker broke down followed by the air being so full of sulphur that you can't breathe anymore -By 2059 (14 years after epilogue) all bunkers are finished and the people who get to live there are chosen by a raffle (only liek 1/3rd of the entire population was chosen to stay in the rest was left to die outside) -Temperatures keep dropping outside bunkers until all life outside bunkers is considered extinct -Book of Revelations begins (sequel)

Guests have a civil war going on, and just split between joining dominia and nusia (guesans made a lot of nusian tech, and there are also guest skins available to us) bacons, well, they literally got eradicated off the earth cause quite everyone ganged up on them and they are technically extinct also, sensei has posted a revamped lore doc in the server which is pinned in #talk (general) since dvn is finished as of 2.0 a new game titled "HELLMET" is in the works, which puts us as nusians fighting guesan separatists in 2034

I've given some theories on what happened to us after we get on the helicopter. As seen in the game and lore documents, the heli depicts the dummies as malignant agents and ejected us from the helicopter, Leading to the end of stronghold 5-5. Now, what if i told you they live? Checking the lore documents again its seen we are "ejected" basically giving us clues on how they survived. But i hear you guys saying its a helicopter, Take note that the game takes place in a near futuristic war and the noobs arent dumb to make an ejection to a helicopter and are more advance than the dummies. But they will fall to their deaths 💀. Well say no more to the jetpack. Advance players who use a scout would know how to glide like the terminal velocity or ingame we dont take fall damage, which puts me to a conclusion that we survived. Edit: my comment is now scrapped as i forgot another gamemode was made and some people know it as hell mode. Hell mode is an exclusive gamemode that can only be unlock via secret badge or admin. But why is it named hell mode you may ask.its because it has a difficulty of over 300 and enemies like sniper spawn early but theres another meaning of hell mode itself and its about stronghold 5-5 in a neverending impossible fight against the noobs and therefore my theory is incorrect and that strongholf 5-5 actually died.

Some important information was left out so I wanna make sure you’ve get a bit more information about it Before the Great War even began, all 4 factions signed a peace treaty that wouldn’t have all factions go into conflict for 100 years, After that treaty went away a 100 years later, the dummies did attack the bacons with the help of the Noobs and the guest, don’t know much how they did it but it almost killed all the bacons to go extinct, forcing the bacons to go into hiding Next is that the bosses was created when the noobs started to lose they’re ground by a attacked of dummies Another small lore is that the ones to afford the dummies they’re tech were actually companies which is why they’re advance on weaponry (not tech units) And one final one is that the reason why the dummies are losing the war is because the emperor died, don’t ask me why he’s dead because the wiki doesn’t really say so that’s best used for imagination There’s more information with the lore but I don’t want my house to become a target of DVN fans looking for a excuse to shut me up so I’ll just stop here

Yk what I wonder about the Bacians? It’s their navy. I tend to wonder occasionally as to what happened to their Carrier-battleships. Like it would be so fucken cool to have a map/mode where we’re like a Dominion Squad sent to take control over the remaining hybrid ships whilst on a timer. Cuz obviously the Noobs wouldn’t let that slide since the Bacians had some powerful shit. However since they’re retconned it would be a nice way of bringing them back into the fold.

The thing that i think u miss : After the dummies boom the nusean bunker the system server goes error and simply everyone anyone everything gets deleted (i got that info from DvN wiki)

alr , fangame idea Southern Noocia border patrol on the heat of battle between Noocia and Dummina , the noobs have started despising all other countries causing many guests from getting evicted out of Noocia you must be on a tower defense style game and fight against said guests storming the border story elements : there will be different events every few waves and you'll get a different ending by choosing different options in those events

How the heck did the map come from. I’ve played DvN for a while and I’ve never noticed that. But on the flip side I never notice any type of detail to anything

I do believe that the updates corelate to story Cause back then the noobs where semi basic all soldiers are identical in ground to earth technology like APU not being a exoskeleton used in avatar that makes them hella tall Then after the update comes the big one Technology advanced so far that the noobs no longer uses M16 but custom Assault rifle and APU being transformed into exoskeletons used in avatar the dummied got a technological evolution in terms of weaponry replacing stolen technology like cloakers exoskeleton replaced with a far better alternative called aero gear Then after the war kept going between the soldiers in stronghold 5-5 The noobs are so weakened that they no longer have orginaized military and are literaly conscripting injurds who havent fully healed and women into battle against the dummys and risen a (the skin update that added variants to the noobs chances youll see a noob who has hella ton of bandaged one with a crotch on the back the shielders gear aleays being different and some of them have long hair meaning theure women or hair with beanie meaning women) technology and luckily for the noobs conscripted a very elite person nicknamed Gaia and (headcannon like they conscripted a new achilies cause achilies was a male but now a female from the hair alone" and gave achilied better rquipment to fight the dummies And hired and created and the different it is a mass produced elite squad with the codename Hermes Which is a attack helicopter designed to fight against stronghold 5-5 (The combo of old achilies shield and a engineer turet that one time wiped out the entire lobby cause it was placed in a intersection in urban) The dummies got more battle hardened Be able to see true grenadiers smoke thsn back then where you see literaly nothing and the fact there salota people in the game who can solo bosses"
