They gonna both need that tear then. After what Ezreal witnessed looking at Kai'sa from behind i know he gonna give it up immediately tho. (*Insert lenny face*)
@@frankojolic5042 Personality-wise, no please. Kai'sa is your typical Hollywood tough woman and Ezreal? He's your typical cocky pretty boy. Kai'sa deserves better tbh.
@@DCapybara Maybe Ezreal will get a bit of a personality shift in the lore soon? He looked a lot less selfish here, he threw himself into danger and dropped the tear to help Kai'sa. Unlikely, but I'm hopeful for some more character development
Garen: Soldier, we were fleeing from encroaching Freljordian mercenaries about to over run us at the gates AND YOU'RE WORRIED ABOUT MY CHOICE OF KNOT?!
@@andremilanimartin3338 It's less about that and more about being an officer of the law. Despite having to kill in-game, lore-wise she would always opt for apprehension over execution.
@@chubmouse Then why does she use bullets and not darts and nets. and she lets Vi smash their skulls in with steampowered metal gloves. I think they just don't want to show blood.
you can see that one of them reacts to it when she pulls the staff to her. in the heat of battle a member of a well respected family will get a lot of leeway, especially when her actions single handedly turned the tide of battle.
I mean if Lux were known as a mage surrounded by Demacian soldiers that trusted her, she would openly carry her staff. Maybe the heat of the battle and her saving all of them made them trust her in that particular moment
semih eren that wouldn’t really make sense because sylas knows lux well because she talked to him a lot in prison and a blond lady with crownguard uniform and no weapon os a bit sus
"[Ezreal] wouldn't let a stranger just die for him" Yeah, I'm sure that's the only reason he stayed to help the hot void lady with his awesome skills... Also finally someone who likes 7:13. Everyone talks about the sync with Vi's punches, but not the sync with her gauntlets locking into place
For the light sword Sylas wields: I believe that in a story that Kayle blessed the weapons and being petracite they may have retained the magic and it's the sword that has the magic
And I feel that in the comics, when Sylas tells Garen something about his family keeping secrets after Garen strikes Sylas, with his blade, I always thought that he was referring to the magic within the sword, and this cinematic somehow proves that he was talking about that.
I doubt that it was a “defense mechanism” that triggered when he took the tear. I like to believe that the tear was a source of power or fuel to lock in and trap all those Voidlings
Or, and hear me on these. The void captured the tomb to seek for a food source. They where being hunted by someone (Kai'sa) and decided to leave humans alone for a while. Ez happens to hear that theres a tomb that has been discovered by the void and they are inside. So here he goes to check, being Ez. Kai'sa also hears this and goes to. Bim bum badabum you have the cinematic.
@@maxwellmendo2828 To add onto this, the Voidlings could've also been attracted to Ezreal's gauntlet, especially with the theory that supposedly the Inspiration Rune is inside of it. The minute he touched the tear, they felt the gauntlet's power and were drawn to it.
7evenZee wow that’s the first time I get recognized off a popular comment lol. I never knew that comment got any likes at all! I just edited so it’s easier to read
Canon or not, I consider the idea that Kai'Sa has an actual friend now, Ezreal. She accepted the idea that everyone Kai'Sa meets runs away in fear. She didn't expect Ezreal to help her. In the future I m curious about how those two will interact more.
I swear that at the moment when lux came in front of everyone, levitated in the air, and started spinning the stuff, i got sooo many chills on my body!! It was SUPER!!
Would make more sense from a practical point of view, you would never be able to draw that sword from a back scabbard so a knot to undo it completely is the only way it works.
I still think Cait hit the gool purposely on the metal arm, as she always hits the shoulder plates of the gools. This seems like a way to purposely not kill them, as she represents the law. Credit to T B Skyen for mentionning this
One thing I thought was interesting about the fact Kai'sa saves Ezreal is that in the short story about Kassadin that released earlier in 2019 explaining his gauntlet is the matching one to Ezreals, it's mentioned that Kass was leading a piltovan couple to find it. It says it wan't quite what they'd been looking for but they were happy nonetheless until the void attacked; Kassadin ran and they died (with him going back for the gauntlet later after finding his home/family were attacked by the void). Kai'sa just did what her father could not. He couldn't save the parents, but she saved their son.
I would to have a sequel to these sequences: -Lux having a trial in Demacia's court due to her magic abilities -Sylas becomes shackled again and gets banned to enter Frejlord or even negotiate. -Garen defending his sister and tries to prove to Prince Jarvan IV that she means no harm. -Ezreal getting close with Kai'sa, and probably leads her to Kassadin and more tombs to come(probably encountering Rek'Sai and the other voidborn or even witnessing Azir's resurrection.) -Vi gets new gauntlets from Jayce, and Caitlyn files a report and requested Jayce to put heavy security around Urgot's "cell" PLEASE RIOT, MAKE A TV SERIES ALREADY
After my many rewatches i noticed that when Lux force grabs the staff the soldier behind her looks at her like "wait a minute" so my guess is this army still is demacian in it´s magic hating nature but it´s more of a "well we could use any help now" moment
Wow great analysis thanks so much for sharing. I knew everything somehow tied together and I love the graphics you cut in from past art to display your points.
Just a detail about Garen and Sylas here, he may not have been blessed by the Aspect of Justice himself(yet?) but it's possible that his weapon is an ancient one blessed by Kayle when she was still around protecting early Demacia. Kayle lore notes this: "Kayle fought in many battles, flying at the head of the growing militia and *imbuing the weapons of the worthy with her own sanctified fire…* " And this theory is also reinforced by the fact that a LoR card notes how Dauntless Vanguard soldiers uses the weapons and armors of those who came before them.
demacia: we hate magic in every form it takes also demacia: here is our cool giant gargoyle that moves without any mechanical parts and gets signal to come by a giant beam of light that this girl produce, totally not magical
Can you explain why Sylas is so good at fighting? I know he is a powerful individual because of his magical ability but I don't understand why he has so much physical prowess and good at melee combat against Garen. I don't recall him having training when he was being used by the mage seekers. And he spent many years locked up.
In the official Galio Champion Spotlight, Gailo actually ult towards Lux. Even in the game, if you look up Gailo's abilities you can find that the demonstration target is Lux too.
The scene were sylas and his army comes out literally is similar to camille with the elite police from last years cinematic really cool ,gives me goosebumps
I have been playing league for 3 years and it's the first time I see this channel I am glad to see a channel that really cares about the lore that much I like that and please keep it up
Great video as always. Was getting giddy waiting for you to upload this :') I find it funny that people are shocked by how big Galio is. His title is literally "The Colossus".
Something that I think is kinda cool is that when Kai'sa starts fighting the voidlings there is violin music playing, which in these cinematics is pretty exclusively Jhin's thing and the main colors of the battle are purple and blue, which were the main colors of Jhin's battle with Camille from "Awaken".If that was intentional, which it probably was,it's pretty neat.
I think the tear of goddess was feeding the void menions that's why when ez take it the links are cut and they are trying to get back there food source
The intro got my heart. Took a screenshot... And it's gonna be mine when I use the meme with my friends hehe xP Thank you! Great content once again! I gotta catch up and read these stories too :P
I know you're only trying to be funny, but there's a difference between absorbing and being immune to magic. I'd imagine there's a limit to exactly how much magic can Sylas absorb. And Lux is very likely to have more power than Sylas can ever hope to hold at once, so She'd simply annihiliate him with overloading what he can absorb.
@@MrTalithan He only took some, not all of it. If Lux has enough magic to make Galio live, when in the past that required literal armies of mages to happen, I don't really think he has the capacity to absorb but a small fraction.
Himiko I think that petricite can absorb magic in a quantity proportional to the size of the petricite object. I mean, I don’t think that sylas’ chains can absorb a quantity of magic equal to galio. So, sylas was able to broke free thanks to a little portion of lux’s magic, but she can totally awaken galio with just one beam of light, while in galio’s story he had to wait a while to let the enemy mage cast enough magic power to awaken him, and this mage was in average power I presume
Because it seems that the ammunition of urgot is in his weapon, and the weapon its a part of him so they didnt cut off the weapon from him and only they locked that part
Thanks to your videos, I was able to have a deeper appreciation for the Warriors video when it dropped. When I saw Lux in the video, it made sense to me that she didn’t have a staff with her. And then to see her use a staff in front of the people she fights along side of... it gave me chills. Like “OMG, she came out!” LOL.
when its to diss my main you do it right away but when its new content that's trending and rly important you take 2 days great job :D finally took you long enough i watched like 70 reactions till you wake up finally and see this ...
