So if you have ever read Arcane adventures/arcane reborn lore you'll know that, YOU the character (not your arcane odyssey character) actually have already absorbed the curse this is because the character wanted to carry out Theo's dying wish to keep peace to all the 7 seas so the person who has the absorption curse is the Arcane adventure player now a month later you play as the arcane Odyssey character and since curse users are immortal I am guessing the arcane adventure player is still alive probably in the 4th sea mainland that's my theory
Peacekeeper is definitely alive during ao since it literally only happens a month later and we know for sure he does defeat durza. I'm really hoping we get some kind of reference or appearance of the peacekeeper maybe towards the end of the game and even fight him and maybe like 5% of his power though that's wishful thinking from me lol

@@stanleyjiang2244 it can't be cannon unfortunately because you don't play as juniper in Arcane adventures you play as yourself but if Arcane Odyssey were to add the peacekeeper it would only seem right to add Juniper
About the Absorption Curse, in the lore document Vetex stated that the player took the Absorption Curse after forcing the only living god, Hades, to tell them how to use it properly, they then used it to become the strongest Peacekeeper in the seven seas.
You really need to read the lore doc. Aside from unobvious stuff like the fact that Warren's curse (the inferno fire curse) is probably more powerful than the death curse due to being one of the grand fire curses. The most notable thing is that Durza fought Theos back when continents still existed. Theos injured Durza, Durza panicked, and threw out all of the magics and curses he had gained in one attack. That attack broke up continents and irradiated the sea. It is the reason why the sea is too irradiated for curse users to enter, and why the Dark Sea takes up most of the world. My personal theory about the order's goal, is that they either want to awaken Torren, or control Chaos. I do think that your theory about the player being part god does certainly hold weight, however.
I do think he uses the inferno ancient magic and not the curse, he'd way too powerful. And the 2 people that were mentioned that had a grand fire curse lost their minds, and Warren looks totally fine
@@cassiovieira2939 he does have the curse, it matches perfectly with all descriptions and im pretty sure he was tech's character in AA so yeah hes definitely strong enough to be a curse user
the earth was never flooded or something, the reason why everything is ocean based is because of theos and durza. the earth used to be pretty much a giant continent, but in theos and durza's third battle, durza was losing bad and in an attempt of desperation used every magic and curse he stole in a super nuke and threw it at theos. This attack missed, but also: threw off a chunk of the earth into space caused massive earthquakes around the world covered the entire world in thick ash caused intense magic radiation in the ocean, leading to shit like white eyes solidifying clouds to be able to support entire islands on top killed like 90% of the planet this is why everything is just an island
This might not be true, but I believe that the EPICENTER, which was mentioned by side NPCs is the exact location of the Absorption Curse with all the magic that was ever stolen, that's why the seas near the epicenter, especially the Dark Sea are so radiated with magic.
@@nickolaysmolin743 No, when a super curse user dies, the curses are flung out of their body with extreme force. The Prometheus fire curse for example is most likely somewhere out in space. Durza’s absorption curse doesn’t actually “take” the curse. The person who has their curse “absorbed” loses the ability to match their internal frequency with the curse. When Durza died, the only curse that would have left him was the absorption curse because that was the only thing that he had affinity with. The “epicenter” is the dislocated point where durza’s ultimate went off. The destruction created a hole that resulted in a whirlpool that became magically sustained. Curses cannot be moved by natural means, only by men, so any curses would not move into the center of the whirlpool.
So basically an human-only world that's sort of used to be like a sort of like Conan the Barbarian with some more magic and gods, now slowly turning in Warhammer Fantasy, One Piece edition
The death curse isnt too powerful, its one of the ancient magic curses yes however there are other ancient magics that are likely as powerful if not more
Remember that if you guys want to read the lore a webtoon exist of arcane adventures and honestly surprised me someone would make one using this premise
My theory is that AO Player and the Curse Thief are from the same group of humans the AA Player is, a person who died on the gigantic clash of Durza and Theos's powers centuries ago, and now is reborn with a body irradiating magic just like the Peacekeeper, to me that seems to be the only reason people look up to them like the way Calvus, Argos and The Order of Aesir does.
6:28 Throwing this idea out there: Either our character is a natural demigod(usually children of gods: Example being Hercules) or were spliced with divine energy or something?
The player might be special, because in Morden's Journal it's said that he went through way less experimentation than the player did. This could suggest that the researchers noticed something off about the player so they performed more experiments on us.
Nice video! I'm a huge nerd for Arcane lore and you got it more accurately than a lot of people would've. Just some things I'd like to mention... The Death Curse is not the strongest curse, though that's an understandable assumption to make. The strongest curses are the five Grand Fire Curses, the original powers of Prometheus himself. In order of power, the grand flames are Promthean Fire, Inferno & Darkflame (tied), Scorch, Athereal Flame. The Inferno Curse appears to be owned by Warren, as he flew to Wind-row Island with blue flames, the signature fire of Inferno, and you can seemingly only fly with a curse, so it's probably not just the magic. The Promethean Fire Curse flew into space after the death of its user Morock, and the curse is likely now on the moon or orbiting it. As for the other Grand Fire Curses, their fates are unknown. Now, the Death Curse is still extremely powerful, Iikely on par or more with the curse variants of some of the strongest ancient magics. It's just not the absolute most powerful there is. The Order of Aesir's goal isn't specifically collecting curses, they only do that to keep themselves in power. Their overarching goal is to further the power of magic at quite literally any cost. I believe the player (and possibly Morden) is far descended from a god. When Calvus says "your blood" the text is highlighted golden, and ichor (the blood of the gods) is colored golden. This along with the dialog from Poseidon you mentioned makes me think we're god descendents. The Order of Aesir's goal with the experimentation may be to figure out how to reproduce ichor and successfully spread it to others, though that's just a baseless theory of mine. The Absorption Curse can't be involved, as it's currently on the other side of the planet and will soon be absorbed by the Peacekeeper, the player in Arcane Adventures. Sea Curses are called that way because curse energy reacts violently with magic energy, and the sea is *extremely* polluted with magic energy due to the actions of Durza. Powerful users of sea curses die when entering the water because of this, and even just being near the sea, like sailing on a ship, can cause extremely harsh weather like storms and tsunamis. Sea Curse users are rejected by the sea itself, a curse.
Author made a really good work but I think he missed something from a lore. First I need to make correlation between Poseidon and player more clear. Poseidon died in battle with Durza on the other side of the world, but even dead Poseidon managed to sense AO player on the other side of the world. Remember gods from arcane universe are rather selfish, they can easily betray, kill other gods, or be sworn to monsters (like Prometheus to Durza, after Durza resurected him) just to be alive. I think Poseidon want something from player. Calvus mentioned that player is much stronger than he should be, and order searched for people like player. Order uses power of magic in any means necessary, and it's goal to release some kind of power. But what is that power? We know from lore that all magic came from evil force Chaos, who can ravage galaxies, it even was attracted to earth sometimes, like on the island akursius keep. But I don't think that they can control or attract Chaos for long time. Also their target is not sea curses, they are just a way to achieve goal. So we need search something that stronger than cursed, but weaker than chaos. It's not hard to realize that they want power of gods. We know that the war seas is a region where the mount Olympus was, and I think Vetex wouldn't be making it's so clear without a reason. All in all I think Poseidon want player to destroy order so they will not get power of gods. Why it's important? Gods was dead for hundred or thousands years, but Durza still managed to resurrect Hades, Zeus and Prometheus. So I think Poseidon just wait for a right moment to reborn anew. And he sees player as a way to achieve it. Remember Poseidon wasn't saying a word to player until he killed Calvus, I think that was the reason why Poseidon got he's attention on player. It's still just a theory, we will know more when story will be expanded.
Also at 5:57, the Order doesn't look for people that can use sea curses, they want the Curses themselves, but ANYONE can use a Curse if they absorb it, some will go insane from it tho

A third part, at 7:22, tech stated that if the user of the absorption curse dies, the magics he stole disappears, and the Curses shoot out elsewhere, it doesn't stay with it
The Peace Keeper, who is the player in arcane adventures, gains the absorption curse and defeats hades, the last remaining god, nobody in arcane odyssey that we know of could take the absorption curse and possibly all of Durza's power, it states in the lore document that the Peace Keeper finds the curse far away from any civilization and sets out to destroy all the sea curses to rid the world of all major threats, using a technique taught by Hades that requires the absorption curse, it is also revealed that Hades gave Durza the absorption curse to test the true limits of pure dark magic.
The Absorption curse probably landed on the edges of the Seven Seas or even another Sea Cluster. What we do know is that the player from AA found it and took it for themselves
I think the Nature Curse dude said in some of his dialog said that the people with evil intentions that goes into his library will not live and escape. Basically saying that he instantly kills the person with evil intentions the moment they step inside the library(?)
bro thank you. I loved this games lore but halfway thru I got impatient and started skipping stuff. now I can understand the great lore of this arcane odyssey in thhis world of magic it takes place in.
Other lore from the npcs I talked to and speculation. Keraxe has complete control over their 6th sea and all of it is called Asgard and their army called Asgard (since they are vikings and seriously who names their army Asgard with the whole 6th called Asgard?) Morden will (possibly) turn against us because of a few dialogue I noticed as if the death curse power was beginning to corrupt him with the ruthless causing you to have trust issues and merciful will leave you as "you're my friend I won't kill you." (Speculation) All the War Seas are in the south and (forgot the same) is Cernunnos son (fatherless lol) went to south to spread Greenwish ideal and being the most powerful evil wizard. The aftermath of the intense battle between the protector vs zues and durza (cnp/slender mm2 teamers) was also felt by the War Seas. The dark sea is full of unpredictable weather, sea monsters, fleets of ships, ghost ships and more due to the magic pollution.
at the end of the Arcane adventures story it says the peacekeeper/player gets the curse. Which means we might not get it unless the peacekeeper is a boss we must kill to obtain it. Since the events of the Arcane Adventures is 1 month apart, it makes me wonder if we will ever meet the peacekeeper form Arcane adventures.
Here's my theory: You know how earth used to be a supercontinent and then it split up and yadayada? Well that's exactly what I think happened in Arcane Odyssey, it used to be one, massive continent, being World of Magic, and then split up into all these islands. One thing that can prove this is that if you go to Shell Island, there is a near exact (but destroyed) replica of the bridge you find near the Summer Hold in World of Magic. Another thing is that if you have a save from World of Magic that had a boss drop on it, if you play Arcane Odyssey on that save, you have a "Magius Relic" that states it is from a land far away.
The Death Curse isn't the most powerful one, just very powerful, the Grand Fire Curses and Curses like Equinox (if it exists) would heavily outpower it
My theory is that because this games world is connected to greek methology that would mean the heroes of greek methology were real too, like Hercules. So maybe there are some people in the world of Arcane Odyssey that are far decendents of such heroes and have much bigger and stronger magical potential and potential overall
feel like the order of aesir is a war-sea only thing, like the grand navy while it is possible for durza's curse to be scattered in the war seas, i feel that it's unlikely since durza died on the literal opposite side of the planet in the 7th sea... also even if the curse reached the war seas, it's unlikely that aesir would know about it since it only got used in the 7 seas, making it unknown to the war seas dwellers it's like if another curse, let's say beringer's cloud curse, got lost in the 7 seas. nobody would try to actively search for it and the only people finding it would just be stumbling on it by accident
Durza and Theos are, in fact, know in the War Seas, theres a lady in Cirrus Island that tells the Player a story about their fight and the island divisions, as if it is some sorta of unpopular religion. She even use weird names that i dont recall rn to identify them.
It said that Durza and Theos (before the islands are formed) fought and i think Durza's powerful attack missed Theos and hit a mountain causing a massive earthquake that made the continet split into islands with pollition influencing the weather
one thing that i'd like to imagine is that the world of magic world was destroyed due to catastrophic events which created the sea curses which is why everything is floodded
I think sea curses are called sea curses because they curse you with the hatred of the sea cause you like explode violently or whatever when you are in sea water
I gotta theory that the main villain is at the centre of the Order tab and the leader of the Order is Durza or someone related to him, the Order has only strived to get power and with him somehow surviving or a relation it would only aid their goal. Another theory could be that Durza's curse has landed in the War seas since it's said Arcane Odyssey takes place 1 month after the initial story and it caused a big enough distraction for the Protagnist, Tucker and Morden to escape. The Absorbtion curse is the only one they need to unravel the ancient power and should be absorbed on Neviro so he'd have enough power to re-instate Winterville and carry on the Royal Bloodline.
Personally I think the leader is the peacekeeper since at the end of AA he goes out to find the absorption curse and get the other curses using a “technique” learnt from hades which I think is the sword the order uses to get curses since when they kill someone with it the curse drops in front of them
First off, you dont instantly make friends with Iris after defeating her, but first you stalk her and follow her to Cirrus. Then somehow you talk everything out and realise u have the same goal so u become friends
nah the main character came from dust when they blew up from a fight while they were farming. 100 years later after floating around in the water some dark magician used the death curse to revive an army to beat up another magician
A little theory of mine is that well first lemme say idk if AA player died in that month or oofed himself so hear me out we PROBABLY have a connection to AA player since from what Poseidon said he was friends with the strongest human alive which is AA player and that we are the strongest will of all legacies which is referencing us to AA player and something off topic is that vetex used to have a list of all lost and ancient magic in trello and the last ancient magic was called Prometheus fire that alone is very interesting so it's either we are connected to AA player or Prometheus
No, the Peacekeeper is still alive, but the only reason we still see curses in AO is because the Peacekeeper hasn’t gone around to absorb all the curses yet. He does eventually face hades and defeat him, but this takes place years after AO.
uhh you need to read the arcane adventures lore because a lot of what your saying is refuted. Poseidon was friends with Cursebeard who was the strongest human at the time, and it was backed up by arcane adventure lore document because poseidon was apart of cursebeards crew. also your logic with our connection with prometheus makes no sense at all lol, it was literally an ancient magic mentioned in the trello.
4:15 this is because the player is probably a heir to the peacekeeper which is around 200 or 2000 years old after being revived twice by the asorbtion curse user known as durza, which was atomized by theos after warping his phoenix magic into something unknown 5:50 , not true, the first major battle between Durza and Theos split the world up , it used to be a giant continent
No, and no. Arcane Odyssey takes place a month after Arcane Adventures, and the Peacekeeper was only revived once, by accident. And Theos wasn't the one to use an attack that destroyed the world, that was Durza. And it wasn't the first battle, they had several major battles over the years.
I'd like to think that morden either becomes the strongest villain or he secretly is the strongest villain. Why? Because he has a death curse, and also when playing arcane odyssey I got killed by someone named Tucker and I remember who tucker is. (They weren't a player) Maybe it's just a glitch in the system, or maybe morden lied?
tucker was probably an NPC with a bounty. also theres no real reason as to why morden would be a villain currently unless he is affiliated with the order, which is why he doesnt have his memories erased but the player does.
The one npc where u do the get the log quest on sailor lodge When talking to him our character will say :You seem familiar its like they have met before Then the npc says : Have we? Thats what i remember the npc is located at the top of a crane sitting Pretty sure his name is john or josh

I believe that is the death curse because it mention how it was "Attracted to evil." Also, it was said to be teal and black, which is shown as the color around morden's hands after he obtains the death curse. Could possibly be foreshadowing the power.
i think it's just like this: you see nimbus sea on the map, but when you go there at a certain boundary it moves you to a different server, judging from the fact that it says "travelling to the bronze sea" (atleast right now) when you log in the game
Heres a theory: Akius keep has a poision curse And the reason you die in the secret room is becouse you are close to the poison curse witch poisons you
death curse is definitely not the most powerful, its weaker than the grand fire curses (one of which is probably owned by warren, the inferno curse) and the absorption and lazarus curses

yeah one of the one shot pirate fleet commanders if i remember they were poseidon, apollo, morock, and arsen, idk how arsen hung with these guys when they were so much significantly powerful than him
this game's lore is crazy tho and idk how roblox still hasnt took it down lol. I mean I dont want it to get taken down but roblox usually dosent alllow: murder suicide slavery war crimes (and more)

In my opinion this was explained vaugley and your not really covering the places you go to or what you do, If this was a real story it would be 30 minutes long. Please don't rush through these things as it makes the story not good to listen to.
