Both FSN and Shimousa, Kojiro is nothing but a wraith, a spirit similar to an elemental becomes the vessel of a concept behind Musashi greatest rival.

Muramasa just had some therioes on how him and Shirou were a match. It's more so just making weapons I mean Rin is connected to both Dr p with her jewel magic (couph couph Misaya) and li shuwen with bajuquan plus she can cook Eastern food best so I'm sure you wouldn't say the same thing with her right? That's how the vessel works best just finding something that's simialr to the host for a better fusion

Sometimes you just have to pretend that Shirou's Origin did not change by Avalon presence within him. Changing Origin is very hard to do or even impossible to do it as well. Beside there's Magic Circuit as well that most mundane people don't have in it. So I'm 80% sure that Shirou descended from an unknown magus bloodline or Muramasa you know.

@@ivanbluecool The real issue isn't Shirou's Origin (as in, the BS Akasha thing) but his biological origins (as in, his parents) which, following Anime Protag cliches, were deleted out of existance and never get addressed. Gotta make the protagonist vague and maleable for that self-insertion potential without actually being a self-insert.

@@SonnyFRST well Shirou "died" in the fire to which Kerry gave him Avalon to save him so it makes sense but he remembers his past well just doesn't talk about it much. HF manga we see his mother (who looks like a short haired gudako) but it's not touched on much as he is much older and has that mindset of survivor's guilt. Also seeing nameless he always has the hero dream regardless of Kerry too. For self inserts Shirou would be in the middle in how unself insert he can actually be compared to sieg gudao and hakuno who fit that much more. Make shiki kinda as well while female shiki is her own fleshed out character compared and sieg is quite literally a self insert only made good in fgo. Hakuno is quite the self insert and even foxtail makes the joke of hakuno wanting to be Original so he jumps all the time and wears funny outfits to be special

@@ivanbluecool Except Shiro didn't die, and that whole "his former self died" is just a convoluted of saying he's got Amnesia. If he wanted, Nasu could've been straight forward about it: "Shiro doesn't remember his life before Kerry and I didn't care to look it up, Kerry was his real father as far as Shiro's concerned." The Convoluted BS wasn't necessary to setup the exotic sorts of settings Shiro and male Shiki have.

Did you know that the Shimousa arc was loosely based off a famous Japanese novel called “Demonic Resurrection”? The plot is literally about Amakusa Shirou being revived and seeking revenge on Japan, he summons famous Japanese figures from the dead. Literally the plot of the Shimousa arc.

It's interesting how they made the alternate Musashi a foil to the Actual one. The real Musashi was relatively well off but dressed slovenly to deceive his opponents, Fate's alternate dresses elegantly but is an actual hobo and spends whatever coin she gets on food and alcohol. The real Musashi is a renowned swordsman and known by most, even by some outside Japan, the alternate was a nobody and the few people that did know of her assume only they knew about her. The Real Musashi is famous for his pragmatism and setting honor aside in favor of victory, Arriving late to his duel with Kojiro, blinding him with the setting sun, and using a bokken that he carved from an oar to cave Kojiro's skull in, there are other examples but that is the best known, Fate's alternative has more respect for her opponents and actually Dueled Kojiro, although she still uses the occasional underhanded trick and the patented Joestar secret technique when she knows she's outmatched. Finally, the real Musashi was accepted by his father whereas she was not. I know I should probably put this somewhere else or just not have typed it out in the first place and just watched the video but I'm feeling educational damn it.

I would love to see Shimousa get the animated treatment, it would be awesome to see to Musashi fight all her opponents in animated glory. Especially her fight against Kojirou

It isn’t animated, but I HIGHLY recommend the Shimousa manga running right now. The art is spectacular and gives the fights the scale they deserve. It even dives into some extra content like how Chaldea handles the master’s coma, Dantes’ involvement, and gives some excellent action scenes to the ‘phantom summoned’ servants like Leonidas that Ritsuka can call to her side since she can’t just call upon servants like normal. Cant recommend it enough. Edit: oh yeah... it’s used in the video frequently. All of the black and white art is from the manga running right now.

Shimousa had the best story in EoR, but the worst gimick imo. I love Musashi and she is one of my strongest servants, but the fated duals gimicks really hurt especially against Inferno. Salem had the better gimmick even if it was just as painful as Shimousa's but didn't hurt a players freedom of approach. And i never want to see a redo of Salem, I hate Abi for who she actually was and I hate Fate when they make me like her.

The big problem with KH is that every new game is shoehorned in to fit a single, massive canon, which opens up more plot holes, which is then "patched up" by the new games, which then opens up even more plot holes. KH is literally the poster child for Sequelitis. In Fate, however, you can single out a series & enjoy it on its own, provided you have a basic / working knowledge of how the Fateverse / Nasuverse works. There's no single, overarching, canonical story in Fate. Watching / reading / playing other Fate works only enhances the experience & isn't a requirement to understand Fate unlike KH.

Honestly they only seem confusing because of how many different facets to the series they have. The characters, metaphysics, etc, but at they're core the conflicts and characters are really simple.

Geting to see Muramasa's noble phantasm was a masterpice from him how we see only glimpse's of the sword at first to him giving a speech that doubled as the incantation to the full reveal of him with the Tsumugari muramasa magic circuits glowing toped off with that remix of the EMIYA theme was perfect

Read the voice lines. Emiya and demiya don't really see eye to eye with muramasa but they don't really freak out about it. Also ishtar and sitonai recognize him immediately same as emiya and demiya compared to the other girls. Also muramasa hates Rasputin like his mom and dad do.

That would explain why Tomoe didn't have a problem fighting alongside Ushiwakamaru during the Babylonia singularity. She clearly has a great to stay in for the Genji and Ushi is one of the Genji.

No one Stop thinking when we all get Legendary Emiya Shirou who right now turn into Muramasa Senji, my best part is When Muramasa Senji borrow Thousand Swords from Shirou at Unlimited Blade Work to Create a Single Sword by the name Tsumugari Muramasa and Defeat Amakusa in the Single Slash.

You know, for as much as I love the story for this epic chapter...It was SO painful, frustrating, and downright abusive at times. I didn't have Merlin, Tamamo, Waiver, or frankly ANY good support servant! So having to do the big boss fights: missing the key features to all my boss killing teams, a forced Musashi (who wasn't fully leveled up AND weaker than my own summoned version) against enemies that have one form or another of BS abilities from instant spamming NP, debuff/self buffs each hit, or SHUTEN AND RAIKOU TOGETHER...honestly It was like the slap when you go from America to Camelot. I love the story so much but I dreaded EVERY SINGLE BOSS FIGHT...

Okay so in honor of the upcoming Salem singularity; I just want to say that I am HOPING beyond hope right now that someday a Stephen King character might someday appear in Fate/Grand Order! I can imagine that if Carrie White was summoned; she would most likely be a berserker/avenger class servant. Roland Deschain (from the Dark Tower Series) would probably be summoned as either an archer, assassin, ruler, or maybe a foreigner servant. What I'm most interested in however; is how Pennywise/IT or the creatures from 'The Mist' might fit in.

If you're familiar with King's book Needful Things, Leland Gaunt could totally work as a mastermind villain behind a chapter. Imagine this demonic being who's existed for milliennia, manipulating humans and Servants alike into doing what he wants by playing off their deepest desires, creating a web of chaos and hatred between them all that eventually explodes into an event of mass violence and death, which he plans to harvest the accumulated souls/mana from for his own ends. Nobody knows about other people's actions fueling their own conflicts, with even Ritsuka and Chaldea dancing to his tune until it's all but too late to unravel his plans.

This is my favorite EOR when I went through this the first time. One of the servants I wanted desperately Musashi was that servant. It wouldn't be until I did this recent gssr that finally Musashi came home to me, I am so happy my favorite swordmaster came home because it makes the promise of her being a servant all the more sweeter and fulfilling! There is really nothing better then seeing your favorite servant come home to you after a story chapter and being overjoyed that they joined your ranks to help your fight against evil!

Despite all of the BS gimmicks this Pseudo-Sungularity has, this is easily the best of the 4. Also, Shimousa finally shows Kojirou in his true Saber class incarnation. And that final duel with Musashi is quite the sight to behold, especially since Musashi is my first SSR when I started the game. And yes, we finally have Muramasa on JP. 2 more years before his debut on NA server. 😊

I was wondering when Shiro's design would be reused. We see a lot of EMIYA, but not much of Shiro. A blacksmith who makes swords but feels unworthy because his swords can't cut literal fate, is a great match for him.

I did indeed enjoy this video. My two favorite Servants from among the Blademasters are Archer and Assassin. They are both tragic individuals who have endured a great deal of pain in life, and as servants. I do hope to be able to help them in Chaldea. You know who my least favorite is. I hate him. Bitterly. He is not welcome in MY Chaldea, and I’m letting COLUMBUS in (JSYK, I did a count of the Servants in Chaldea, and those two are the ONLY ones I genuinely despise.) Jason’s an ass, but at least he’s getting better. I believe in Moriarty because I KNOW he’s always scheming, and thus far, he’s been pretty good about holding his desires back. Post-Shinjuku, that is. The only ones I just can’t like are Christopher Columbus and Ashiya Dōman. I’m getting off-topic. Thank you for the video, and I look forward to the next.

I still find it weird how pruning exists outside of extra... In extra, yeah it may be an alien supercomputer, but not the source of literal everything... Best logic i could use was that bad timelines are a 'waste' of energy that is better used for more productive timelines. Hell, lostbelts being pruned because they are 'dead ends' of human history implies that its not the 'universe' doing the pruning, but something like Alaya (because why would the universe give a damn about one of the species that live in it?)

Shinousa of the 4 eor chapters is probably the best structured story of the bunch and easily fits into the bigger stuff compared. While I don't like musashi the storyline was fun and gimmicks were cool aside forcing musashi into the party. I just plugsuit her out as I will never use her. Wish isshun was in story longer as it could have been better to get to really know him before he went bad being possessed as it just made musashi More plot armor heavy beating tons of people better than her even with her eyes. Overall if I had rank it for story Shinjuku shinousa Salem Agartha Battle wise shinousa Shinjuku Salem Agartha Character wise Salem Shinjuku shinousa agartha in that order.

@@ACertainMan I thought it was more so a test to see how the fans would react to a non mashu story where we could focus on other characters Instead of her(which I found better than mashu always being our main support) Agartha is still trash. Shinousa I found nice but I don't musashi so it's middle. Shinjuku was cool to see jalter get some character but summer 3 is still her best. Overall it was quite edgy but the twist was good. Salem was fine but nothing deep or crazy. Now seraph counts as one and melt was quite amazing and bb was also great. Bur yeah like ealry fgo stories it's easy to forget about them same as the 0.5 middle stories before or after lostbelt stuff

@@ivanbluecool that's one thing I liked about the idea of EOR. No mash focus. Musashi's plot armour annoyed me at one part we are running away from Inshuin and next thing you know is Muramasa randomly giving Musashi a sword that happened to cut through Karma thereby making all the swordsmen a none issue even tho we just established them as being a threat.

@@ACertainMan yeah it was great to see and quite frankly mashu holds back lostbelt from being better as she takes a plung in the plot when we need other units to fight anyways. I get lb 1 as we needed to summon avicebron but after that I wish she was a support Instead with da vinchi and Sherlock to have solo units be our main friends. Musashi I get in running away which is probably the smartest thing that happens but I do hate the plot armor. Especially since she fought two swordsmasters at once and then each one better than her in many ways yet she isn't hurt at all which is bad. Also off topic just did rolls(goodbye childe) and I got ganyu qinyu and some spooks. Just what I needed.

@@ivanbluecool Mash right now needs to get over the fact that we ain't fighting for the right she needs someone to snap her back to reality since she is acting like a confused bag of puppies. Thank God she was booted in LB1 overwise her plot armour would have removed the stacks from the story which is terrible. Literally in LB1 Gordolf asks why we didn't summon Gilgamesh Artoria Iskandar and the answer is obvious because we don't want to make the stacks redundant next thing you know Musashi is here. Gratz I myself don't have the time to play Genshin at the moment

I have set a quota of missions to complete in order to get through the event in a timely manner. I have 32 done now. In other news, I have enjoyed what I’ve seen of Shimosa, and I imagine your lore video will be a treat as well. I feel very bad for Inshun, Tomoe, Chiyome, Raikō, Shuten and Danzo. I feel some empathy for Saber of Empireo, and their motivations for what they did, though that doesn’t excuse those actions themselves. I am glad Musashi and her final opponent were able to complete their spectacular duel, and Kotarō was able to avenge his mother. I enjoyed seeing Muramasa and the familiar face he was wearing. I pity the mastermind behind these events. May he find some semblance of peace in annihilation. Caster of Limbo can eat ____ in hell. ____ off and die, you evil, evil wretch. Again, apologies. I fear I curse too often, and leaving a blank space where the profanity would be is my attempt at compromise. I do try to find something good to say about the various characters in FGO, but Limbo and certain others make that VERY difficult. Thank you for the video, and I hope you continue to enjoy FGO.

The others are titled Pseudo-Singularities, but this is designated a Pseudo-Parallel World. Does…does this mean this place suffered the same fate as the others? Or did foiling Dōman and Avenger Amakusa’s plot prevent that? My already shattered self-esteem would crumble further if this were another world we erased…
