@@TheChroniclesofAzerothkeep at it! It's really awesome! I imagine you plan on doing the classic starting zones first? I hope you keep going until the later zones basically nobody has ever covered lol!
That's the idea! I'm working on each starting zone right now, giving everyone that personal nostalgia feeling and then moving on to the other zones/topics! Should be a great adventure, so happy to see you all aboard so soon :)
My first real experience playing WoW was on a Tauren hunter during vanilla. I spent two days grinding mobs before I was even level 12 to skin because I thought vendoring light leather would make me rich. I spent probably an hour trying to clear a gnoll camp so I could loot a chest, dying countless times because I didn't know what kiting was. Mulgore is so burned into my love for WoW and gives me an overwhelming rush of nostalgia like no other zone. Awesome vid, thanks for bringing back so many memories
Same here. Very first character I created during vanilla was a Tauren hunter and is still my favorite to this day. Still like to hang out in Thunderbluff and tell Chuck Norris jokes in barrens chat in Crossroads.
Superb. I've spent many happy hours roaming the plains of Mulgore but I've never put the place into the kind of perspective you've shown here. Thank you, Loremaster.
My very first character was a Tauren back in classic, I kept dying to Plainstriders lol levelling was such a chore back then, What good memories of Mulgore...
@@kuehldy I do ... still, whoever's created this has hit the goldmine. Inspiring really, for both it's simplicity of concept and the relative ease of producing such video. The difference between myself (with my software engineering, graphic design and animation background) and this channel is simple - he actually did it. ;)
2005 and i started playing as a tauren shaman named wildy. I knew nothing of wow but played all the warcraft games. Fell in love with the scenery and how well the Tauren fought to make a home of their own. Little that i know friend from high school also started playing as a forsaken warrior and we reunited at shadowfang keep. So many great memories.
Vanilla came out when I was like twelve, and I was lucky enough to have an older brother that got wow, and let me play while he was at work or doin other stuff. My first character was a tauren, and Mulgore is still one of my favorite zones in the game. I like the visuals, and I love the music and birdsong thats always going on. 10/10 place to play the game. (Although I hate to admit that I like the highmountain tauren a bit more. Moose antlers too cool.)
Ahhhh, Sunday mornings. Hot cup of joe, a little sumpin sumpin to set the mood and another episode of Chronicles of Azeroth. This week featuring one of my favorite places from vanilla, Mulgore. Okay one more hit and lets get into this
I haven’t played wow in 10 years and I still love the lore, the tranquil feeling of Eversong Woods for the first time. No game will ever be like it. It’s perfect. Even at it’s worst. It’s too damn good. Thank you for these. Your voice is amazing for this.
So glad YT recommended this to me. The way you narrate makes an in-game fictional place so breath-takingly beautiful and mesmerising. Can't wait to check out other awesome videos of yours about the stunning world of Azeroth.
This is exactly the WoW content im looking for. Informative, nostalgic and very well put together. I can only hope you will be making a lot more of these. Thanks a lot, amazing!
Please keep these up. Looks like you have so far done the four best starting zones, though the Dwarven/Gnomish starting zone would round it out. It's interesting how the starting zones are so iconic, relatively peaceful, and yet quite memorable. The things you do there are small, but meaningful, whereas the further afield you go, the more of a mercenary exchange it becomes, and then in the later expansions they start making you into an, ahem, "hero of light" instead of just letting you be one more person wandering the world.
I agree with your reasoning so much! You can only save the world as a stand-alone hero so many times, but every expansion just throws an entire galaxy's worth of challenges and foes on your plate again. Just helping the everyday inhabitant of a simple farmstead can be a journey on its own, especially with the attention to detail and history the characters then seemed to have.
This channel is just too good. Just watched a bit of your silver pine video but then realized I never quested through mulgore without rushing to the barrens so made a shaman and decided to come looking for Mulgore on your channel. Please don’t ever stop putting these out. They are really awesome and your attention to detail is a cut above most channels similar to this. Cheers man
First toon was right after TBC dropped and I was like 6 yrs old. It was a Tauren Warrior named Bullwinkle. (An older family friend named him, I didn't get the reference when I was younger, now I know it's that cartoon moose lol.) Tauren and Mulgore are just amazing, can't wait to see more of these episodes. Thanks for this great content. Ps. I'm personally excited to see episode about Sen'Jin/Lost Isles episode. Trolls and Taurens peaceful ways are the best of vibes.
My first character ever in World of Warcraft was a Tauren Warrior named Torito, then I lost him when they had to do an early server reset (iiirc due to server load? Or something else) and then I made my human mage Jack and continued my journey there. Mulgore will always have a special place in my heart as my first real glimpse into the World of Warcraft
ahhhh Mulgore, my first staring zone way back in the day. It will forever hold a special place in my heart. Excellent video and a trip down nostalgia's lane. May I suggest doing the Barrens next?
This is rapidly becoming one of my favorites across all of my hobbies! You have a knack for story telling that is beyond anything I’ve seen in my 25 years! Heavily looking forward to the other zones!
@@TheChroniclesofAzeroth My apologies indeed, in that case. I’d noticed that, when asked to write a ‘Lore of ….’ Warcraft 500 word synopsis, ChatGPT produces something very much in your style. It’s knowledge of gaming lore is incredible - it’s writing style is (in my opinion) overly whimsical. That you are the primary creator of the narrative is to your credit and (to be further more honest still) I’m only jealous because I wish I’d done this format first ;)
No worries, I like the brief interactions we can have on this platform! While it's true that a prompt like that can produce similar results, the accuracy of that information is often false (related to a different zone or topic) or just plainly made up by ChatGPT. That's why it's not as simple as people want to believe. The information provided has to be true, above all else. After that, I can give it my own unique setup and style :) Hope this clears things up even more!
Mulgore is where I first started. With my main, my Tauren druid. In vanilla, then playing again in classic. I still walk around it now here and again in DF just for nostalgia. Thank you for this video ❤
This is beautiful work! I typically go for the immersive Warhammer lore channels as the other types of lore don’t often have this type of content. Then I found this. You are creating beautiful content - please keep it up! 💪🏽💪🏽. Subbed!!
I wasnt able to watch this till today because of work, even though I saw the notification when it first dropped. I thought about how much i wanted to vibe to this video pretty much all day, and it did not dissapoint. Can't wait for more. Would like to see one of the non-starter zones.
I normally never care for the lore but this has sparked and interest. You done such an amazing job recording this, really appreciate your work on the video
Another great video. There's no time for me to return to classic/vanilla at the moment for some slow and lazy leveling, so these videos are a great little reminder of the depth of these old zones. Brilliant work.
My favourite zone. Still remember how I was amazed by such a beautiful and peaceful zone back in vanilla. This video gave me a similar experience. Lovely writing and editing. Been enjoying all your zone videos!
My first character was a tauren druid. I spend so much time fishing in bloodhoof village and gathering herbs in mulgore. It was a nice childhood experience.
@@TheChroniclesofAzeroth out of curiosity, over you're done with the starter zones, will you be branching off based on a zones level, it's proximity to a starter zone (aka the next area typically lead to via leveling), or, by a future popularity poll?
@@christopherbronson3275 that's a good question! It will likely come down to a combination of personal preference (what zones do I have a special feeling towards and I am eager to talk about) and the voice of my audience (polls and comments)!
Great content! I just noticed that the dirt pattern where you first start your journey resembles a hoof print, probably not intentional but still cool.
