Loretta Young owned the show, she did a wonderful thing by making these series, she taught us a lesson in morals in all these shows. You see she wanted to live a life to please God , this was a wonderful way to do it! She has more than atoned for past discretions. You see when she worked for the studios, she had to play nice little female parts, but in her own series, she could act and be any character she wished! Every show in this series, has a moral!
I'm 72 and still remember watching The Loretta Young Show with my grandmother. Now that I've found this gem again on the internet, it's my favorite TV show in the evening. I don't like car chases, things exploding, vapid, hyper characters with no depth, silly, dollar store script sit coms, shows revolving around the theme of recreational sex. Ghouls. Vampires. Cannibals. Satanists or serials based loosely on real life serial killers. Today's TV is now complete garbage and a waste of time, a psy op to dumb us down and normalize sleaze, the over-sexualization of young teens and to de-sensitize us to violence, gruesomeness, and yes, even satanism, reflecting the values of the globalist rulers of the world today. I'm so glad I can tune it all out and find REAL entertainment with substance, morals, fully realized characters with integrity. And yes, even shows of the 50's like The Loretta Young Show that always impart a spiritual message in the storyline. There should be a prime time channel just playing all these old gems from the 50's. Just turn off all the corrupting garbage and filth - the electronic/digital slop and swill the 'entertainment' industry is now flooding the airwaves with.
