Beautiful scene. I remember the first time I saw it. I thought it was about to be a typical bully lets race scene. But went he tells Michael "You don't have to beat me, you just have to keep up." I realised it was something more. From a rivalry to an invitation. So epic.
@@aprilgosa5779 Of the few times we see Star smiling is when she is with David in this scene. Which demonstrates that they were once intimate at some point.
Got my lost boys shirt days ago and wore it on my day off from work…felt good and great…lost boys will always and forever be a classic…RIP Corey Haim, Brooke McCarter, Edward Hermann, And Barnard Hughes….
@@sherezadevergara9440 kinda unrealistic as the Lost Boys gang were all vicious murderers with the exception of Star and Laddie. No way they'd give up killing and drinking human blood. They all had to go.
I always wondered as a kid how far that Hudson’s Bluff (Rancho Palos Verdes) was. Then I got older and realized it’s actually 300+ miles away from that boardwalk. Ahhh movie magic 😂😂😂🤣🤣
I think it's interesting that as much as Star hates being what she is, and fears the day she'll kill someone, she still manages find joyful moments regardless. Like wild motorcycle racing, or...if I had to guess... even being able to fly.
Saw this movie for the first time two months ago... Can't lie one of the best movies I've ever seen it left me wanting more.... After all was said & done R.I.P Haims
You could never do that now, Riding on loud moterbikes having fun on the beach, without either, litter everywhere, people getting in the way and stupid Karen's saying "HEY THERE ARE KIDS AROUND" litteraly no one complained about that back then, 80's such a beauty
Yea today people bitch whine and cry about everything back then people just got out had fun now everyone has something to compmian about. Sucks how much the world changed can't do anything fun anymore.
I remember being 10 first seeing this. It was in a Sunday night so I had to go to sleep right after for school the next day and I remember I couldn’t sleep and being up and so excited after watching this and just thinking about how awesome that movie was. And because I have that memory this movie is My #1
I love this movie. My dad made me watch it for the first time and I loved it. This movie is so good. Love the characters as well but my favorite is David
@@Jay-Vee maybe thats why he switched to riding horses and bulls . kiefer took a break from acting in the 90s to work the rodeo circuit in montana and ontario.
Marko is mine mine mine mine mine mine mine mine mine mine mine mine mine mine mine mine mine mine mine mine mine mine mine mine no won else you can share with me
It would be interesting if she ended up with David until he got killed, but then fell for Michael. Like he would still be her hero, and even more so because he killed the enemy first.
Luv scene but man is it bad, he loses his girl, they admit his bike is worse but yet keeps up, he leads him to edge of cliff without warning and he gives him only a threat “just you” for nearly killing him?!
It has been said that David's was some kind of Triumph but it closely resembles a Yamaha XT500, which would seem more plausible being a dedicated dirt bike. Michael's is a Honda XL250 S Marko's is a Honda XR (don't know the cc) and I don't know what Dwayne or Paul's bikes were. It would be great if these bikes were still in existence somewhere with a collector, and one day they go to auction so they can be identified. I think these kinds of things just get scrapped or broken down for parts after the movies are made though.
@Jay-Vee Thanks for the info! It would be great if a collector had them and kept them up over the years. The screen used hero jackets went up for auction a few years ago on Prop Store LA. Hoping the jackets and the cycles reunite.
@@ok34go a guy called Sean (forgot last name) bought the set of 4 of the screen jackets. You can find him on RU-vid, his handle is malfuncsean. He has some great videos, and he has one all about the jackets he bought at auction of The Lost Boys. Highly recommend his channel if you're a horror fan cos he does a lot of tours of the movie locations.
I was born in the early 80's, I miss the times we could speak and act alot more free... Live in the moments, totally fucked now... Shame. But atleast this film is awsome lol
Oooooh i like asking people this question but what was it like back then? Whats some examples of the difference of freedom then compared to now? I don't know much about back then but the movies from the 80's are always so freaking good! Lost boys, karate kid, the outsiders, the first children of the corn are my favorites.
@@colleenwillard5385I was a kid in the 80s. It was an innocent time and kids on tv back then weren't smart@sses who talked back to their parents (except little Michelle on Full House lol). I miss that.
@@colleenwillard5385, one major difference is that both parties were pro America !! Everyone was pro America in the 80s. Now it’s being destroyed by Marxist everywhere and the country is in massive decline

@@Jay-Vee She was already turned before she appeared in the movie, same as the little boy who we never saw bit. She literally flies up to a second story window when trying to talk to Michael. Watch it again.
