@Gloria Sheppard because they stock the fish and tag the fish, and they can't reproduce in there (as said by the tour guides), and they do not leave because they get fed so often - so I imagine they just keep inventory.
Visited there over 30 yrs ago on my honeymoon. They had glass bottom boats then and you could see the fish swimming underneath the boat. Glad to see it is still going. Thx for sharing!
I went here when i was very young on vacation. Thank you for the memory of my parents being young and my mom who has passed away. It was such a fun vacation and you brought back many memories!
Thank you Adam! If not for you and others like you who are willing travel to different destinations those us who are unable to travel for whatever reason could not see America's beauty through your eyes. Television is cold in comparison to such heart warming videos posted by you and others. I just love your videos! Keep filming!😽💋😻
My uncle died in an accident in the cave when they were making it a tour destination. It’s really a neat place to go. Also they do overnight tours! Hope you come back to our neck of the woods soon and see our other natural wonders!
I've been there, About 20 years ago, I was with a group, like scouts called pathfinders and we spent the night in the cave, we had a guide that took us all around in the cave during the night, Didn't sleep much that night, It was quite awesome and we saw the area that the regular tourists do not see, I would say we spent 6 hours and never hit the same trail twice!
Hey I live near Sweetwater, TN. I live about 45 minutes away from Knoxville in Clinton, TN. Nice to see you in my neck of the woods in today's video Adam. Welcome!
That video bomber lol I visited TLSA once a few years back but I missed that old train, which I think is very cool. Shelby is an awesome tour guide, I enjoyed her enthusiasm and humor.
Great to see you back in Tennessee! My family has always enjoyed your Gatlinburg area videos. We just watched three of them last night. Safe travels, my friend!
Great video!!! Have been here a few times myself: once as a kid in the 1970s and twice in the 2000s. Last visit was about 5 years ago. THANKS!!! for the memories.
I lived here for the first 20 years of my life and i always looked back on the lost sea as a fun time, middle school, high school, even taking the wild tour, the natural caving entrance located around the back, this video brings me back good memories and i thank you for it
hell i actually remember it during the droubt and the lake, the bridge and the boat rides were closed since it sat so low, and during too much rain it over floode the bridge and they had to recover like 6 of the boats that got suck cause they were tied down too low!!
My Mother ran the Cavern Kitchens when it first opened . My brother and I would go down in the cave a lot! It was so fun , we knew the cave as well as the guides.lol. This brought back great memories !!!
We moved back to East Tennessee last year and we live about 4 miles from The Lost Sea. Fun fact, the cops sit there at the entrance at night to catch speeders. I work 3rd shift and see them there quite frequently. Again, I missed Adam the Woo...lol
WOW. ADAM THE WOO GONE ON ADVENTURES FOR YOU. We stopped there on vacation in the early 1980s and it was mesmerizing to me as a kid. Been a big fan for a while now. Keep up the awesome work.
This video was fantastic to watch, and very informative and beautiful, every shot holding a view of magic, thank you so much for letting us join you and enjoy this amazing experience with you.
@@goochI034 at least you have your humor not to be mean but you brought it up..are there any tourist things to do there? on the bright side tourist stuff brings in tons of traffic
I went through Lost Sea cave and Cumberland Caverns back in the mid seventies. Got to spend the night in both. This video brought back some old memories.
I toured Lost Sea back in the 70’s with my boyscout troup. Was totally amazed. I seemed to remember that the boat was glass bottemed then and the trout were Albinos. We spent the night in a nearby cave that they used to make moonshine in. Best. Trip. Ever.
That place is nothing short of incredible! Reminds me of the Gollum scenes from The Hobbit or the Horcrux scene from Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince...
I live and grew up in Knoxville TN. That is a place all here remember going to on field trips as a kid in school from all around east TN. Cool to see it again :) Thanks Adam!
Presenter in blue top is either possessed by the cave spirit or charged by a Tesla battery or on a free unlimited supply of Redbull, courtesy of the goddamn it, redbull promotons!
Took my kids here last summer. Was awesome! Kids and I loved it and I was nicknamed for my cowboy hat , i think it was Van Helsing. Shelbey was our guide and wouldn't have wanted another, caught and kept the kiddos attention. THANK YOU LOST SEA ADVENTURE!!
No she didn't. I used to live in Tennessee, that's legit how they talk lol they also say ideal instead of idea (even tho they are 2 completely different words and yes even my high school English teacher spoke like that) and they say "yuns" instead of "y'all" lol
