After seeing such things my mind burst with thought that..We will be the sole responsible for our extinction and we can't make excuses. We need to shift our focus.
It's not climate change it's culture change. I have been saved by Gaddi decade back on trek, I stayed in their huts and homes. I know how humble they are.
The time has come to take collective Local, National and International Actions against the Global Warming and Climate Change so that Our future generations would live in a healthy and conducive environment ✊✊ Because it is the matter of our today's and upcoming generation's EXISTENCE....
So many ancient livelihoods like "Gaddi Tribe" is losing their track due to many factors like lack of support from the government, poor income, and less sustainability. The future generation is not taking their tradition and culture into the future for such reasons. Our country "India" is losing many things due to such negligence from the government. Our culture and history have to be seen in the documentaries like this. Nice documentation from the team about the Gaddi tribe.
Most of the nomadic communities here in kashmir face problems due to increasing population and the consequent competition for pastures. It has nothing to do with climate change. Some extreme events of landslides in and around Himachal have been due to decreasing forest cover and increasing construction activities in steep zones. I don't think it is decent to disseminate poorly researched scenarios about climate change.
