We catch up with our 7riends Megan and Derek as they prepare to race the following day in the Everyman Challenge at the King of the Hammers.
Having met by chance sometime in the Summer of 2019 on the Rubicon Trail, we've been following along with this family ever since Derek first competed in his Toyota Sequoia a few years back with Fieldcraft Survival. Since then he retired the Yota for scrap and has invested his time and energy into his wife, Megan.
Megan has been competing and finishing consistently well throughout the rock racing series and is in it to win it. We can't think of a better couple to get behind, good 7riends and always a good time.
While they didn't finish under the time cap, a lot was learned and we know they're gonna come back even stronger than the year before like they always do. When you're in it for the love of it, the challenge, nothing can hold you back.
We're stoked to call them 7riends.
