The Lost Work of Chomper's (Cancelled FNAF Fangame) 

Honestly, it's just mind boggling to me how someone would purposefully ruin their reputation, cut short their biggest passion project and throw away the work of their entire team the way Ultranite and their group did. What was he thinking? I just can't grasp the thought process of it

I feel bad for all the innocent people who worked on that game who had no clue about everything that happened

Pisses me off that all these people worked so hard and put in so much effort for these games, only to have it all be for nothing because 3 gamedevs decided to be malicious assholes and wanted to leak people's private work.

This news is definitely a huge betrayal to me. I'm currently working on a fairly big game that Ultranite worked on (until the controversy) called "The Rat Cave", and we showed him everything. I'm confident that he was planning on leaking our stuff at the end of it all.

Hey, it's Cokos! I'm here to explain the context and story behind my renders for Chomper's so people can understand better. 9:50 Ben is in the kitchen with Honey the bee, and I made this render for a earlier idea of how this sequence would work out (inspired by Jurassic park) And this sequence would've been for a boss fight where you would have to lure honey into the freezer and freeze her to death. 10:14 This shot was a test on getting the style of Midway (springtrap) perfect. Nothing much to talk about, you can see the tally marks and dry blood on the signifying he's been stuck in the safe room for a very, VERY long time. Which I would like to thank Judy (the composer and concept artist) for helping me get the pose right! 10:35 This was a death scene concept that I had thought of. Yes, the game would've had gore and blood and this was an opportunity to make this scene more detailed. With how lives worked in the game, you'd get knocked out at first, and then second time you got caught you'd get stabbed or brutally lost your limbs. Hope this explains enough!

I hope to see Chomper's come back one day, likely under a new owner, maybe with the same devs, because the game looked so promising and I was beyond excited for it.

My brother was so disappointed because of this. He really wanted to play this :(. As a person who works for a fan game (not fnaf) I can relate to how sad this is too.

10:14 has scared me more than pretty much every single piece of fanmade FNAF content. The way Afton is standing makes it look like he's preparing to chase you but at the same time he's not, that shit gives me genuine fear.

It's really a shame that one person's actions can steal away precious time and work from a dozen people. That's time they won't get back, that is now totally wasted. Experience they can't really use to their advantage, efforts all gone, because of one person. Worst part is, it applies to more than just fangames. Really any group project has that risk, unless you have someone in charge who can nip it in the bud... Unfortunately, we know who played that role in this case. Definitely feel like if he hadn't been in charge, Chomper's might've continued and finished development without him.

oh my godd that final poster just made me so sad.. the irony of seeing chomper standing alongside the other fanverse characters knowing what the game's creator has done. Its so damn sad.

Why not find someone else to make chompers? They didn't have to cancel it entirely. They could have just delayed it until they found someone else to run the project.

Man, you're right about Chomper's Afton design. It's great and really creepy! I actually didn't know Afton was in the game at all, I thought it was all original characters.

This is a great video to watch. It tackles the current situation in a different fashion by appreciating the lost work done for the Chomper's game. Working with Chomping with Chomper was very fun despite some problems during its development. Thank you so much for shouting out members of the Chomper's Dev Team, it really means a whole lot to me and the Chomper's Dev Team to at least get something out of the amount of work that was wasted. (Side note, shoutout goes to ElPichon for entirely creating the graphics for the base game of Chomping with Chomper! 💜)

i hope someone gets permission from everyone who worked on chompers (except ultra-shite) to make their own interpretation of the gamecand what it would have been. i love those piercing green eyes and that shiny gold tooth chomper has and the afton model is absolutely horrifying in the best ways. so sad that we cant go a week without someone trying to sabotage the entire community over some stupid personal grudge.

9:27 now a lot of this video angered me, but this REALLY pissed me off. This showed that they had high hopes for making it in the fanverse so they were planning ahead, but then got cut short by their stupid ASS director who threw everything away just to ruin someone’s day. This is just so damn sad to look at I can’t.

Okay I know what I'm about to say may sound bad at first, but hear me out. I personally feel like Chomper's should have continued development, without Ultranite being in the picture. I know it sounds crazy, but just think about it. I mean sure the whole story may have needed to be changed due to the absence of Ultranite, but wouldn't you want to have a amazing game with somewhat of an good story, or a canceled game where everyone's hard work is put to waste. I know my opinion won't change anything, I just want y'all to question why Ultranite didn't just give the role of ringmaster to someone higher up on the Chomper's team.

I'm so bummed, the game and the character stories put into it were the first time in a while that actually got me excited, havent been a fan of many fangames but this one scratched my itch, I hope the rest of the team can continue

I hope the people who worked on this and had their efforts put to waste by Ultranite can find a way to make their own fan games or maybe make a fan game together without Ultranite. I feel like they definitely deserve credit for what they've done thus far and what they can do in the future.

I'm saddened by this whole situation for many reasons, one of the bigger ones being that this was a fan game I was heavily looking forward to seeing come through to completion. But I still cannot wrap my mind around the ultimate end goal of the Pear was. Why intentionally destroy your games and reputation by leaking all this content? What do you gain from it?

After watching this it makes me feel lucky yet also frustrated because the creator of JRS was also in that group but there game still gets to be released unless something has changed since I wrote this comment and ive been looking forward for that game since I found out about it (Im assuming its because it was literally finished). But it just feels so bad for the team of chompers and all there work going down the drain and in a way unfair that jrs is still releasing while there work wont (Im assuming jrs also had a team)

In my opinion some one should ever remake the project or try to see if there a way get a leader to get the team back together to finish it. ps I don't know if any of these ideas will work but hopefully we can see something some day .

When I first saw Chomper's I was interested in the game it had, unique and original animatronics, good lighting, creepy atmosphere, and good animations that were kind of creepy especially the blinking while the animatronics where moving I liked the game it was cool in my opinion I think Scott would of had it in the fanverse it was a game that had something going for it had potential of being something unique from the rest and being a masterpiece but then it all went down the drain and was canceled cause of the creators fucking purposely childish act I hope the creator is ashamed of themselves for what they did and creating a group with 2 other devs that had also great games that had potential and also were hoping to be in the fanverse but those 2 other devs also did some childish and all 3 of there games and there potential went down the drain and I wanted to say I am very sorry to all the innocent people who worked on these games who also had hope of these games being in the fanverse we feel bad for you and thank you for the amazing work you have done for these games its phenomenal every person who worked on these games each one of you have great potential and I hope to all of you innocent devs who were part of these games to succeed and feel better soon.

The game was looking absolutely amazing and you can tell that the many people working on it put hard work into it before it was canceled. Really sucks to see someone's poor actions ruin something so good. I hope that the people who had their work unfairly sabotaged get to finish the full game and see their hard work being recognized. The graphics, the character design, the art and the modeling are outstanding.

I was originally planned to Rebrand Jollibee's and Jollibee's Phase 2, but 2 other people were rude to me about this and I changed the name of them from Jollibee's And Jollibee's Phase 2 To Joy Time And Joy Time Phase 2, so since the plan was to Rebrand Jollibee's and Jollibee's Phase 2, I scrapped it, and decided to Rebrand Chompers Instead

What!? Chomper's is one of the FEW FNAF fan games I was excited for. I've seen the trailer when first realise, I've seen every snippet of screenshots. And for all of that for Chomper's to get canceled is just terrible news. now, I alreddy left FNAF as a fanbase not only cuz FNAF SB, but also because the creator of FNAF + leaving Fnaf, Chomper's getting Cancelled, and Scoott Cawthon retiring! Man, this is a depressing year for FNAF.

I mean... this situation really sucks. Based on what this looked like, it had elements of old and new gameplay styles of Fnaf. It looked like the scarier security breach that I kind of wanted.

The way that the protagonist could look around in that 3D build of the office sort of reminded me of the "Those Nights at Rachel's" fangame.

One thing that I really liked about the designs of the characters is the way they use colors, since FNAF 1 used primary colors and brown, this game used secondary colors for the eyes, which is just a very cool detail.

Honestly it's stuff like this (and by this, I mean the whole situation with you know) that makes me really nervous about making my own fnaf inspired game. Like I've had an idea for my game but I'm not sure I should go on with it considering the current atmosphere of the fnaf fan game community.

The devs and other people working on this game deserved so much better man. I remember when the first teaser for the game came out and I was really excited to have a new game added to the FNAF Fan-verse. But now hearing that this amazing game has been cancelled because of the actions of some shitty people plus the owner is just mind boggling tbh. I hope in the future the devs get a new leader and can continue their work and release this beautiful game.

I was kind of hyped for this game when it was first announced, and I was pretty excited for this game to come out, that is until I heard that it got canceled out of nowhere through this very video. I feel horrible for the other developers who worked so hard to make this game, only for all of their hard work to incinerate right in front of them because Ultranite and a few other developers ruined everything... Thanks a lot Ultranite.

Mind boggling. Some people would be endlessly grateful to be able to make a fan game with such a talented team. Shows that you shouldn’t trust someone just because they have a huge rep in the fandom. I wonder if that man feels any regret or guilt at all.

Leaking is a big problem. It’s litterally spoiling the game, even if a simple animation is revealed. you don’t have the game creators premisson. WTF. If somebody leaked one of my games I would change the characters design because I want people to actually be scared or surprised. Leaks ruined most of my experience with video games. I was really looking forward to seeing how Chomper's would correlate with Freddy's. But this was to be expected after the scandal that happened. It's too bad that Ultranite ruined his own reputation for something that wasn't even important to begin with. Sad to see, and pitiful it is.

It’s a massive shame I mean Chomper’s would’ve been a perfect addition to the FFI and why can’t the Chomper’s dev team finish the game without Ultranite they got all the stuff together do they really need that ass involved who’s to say one of them can’t be the new owner of the game, I mean Ramenov finished JR’s and then left the community as promised (Speaking of which I can live without a sequel and JR’s would’ve also been an awesome addition next to FNAF Plus)

The worst part is that it looked so good to play, but due to ultranite's disrespectful behavior and selfishness, it's not gonna happen dude.
