Lotus temple is very near to my home! When one looks out from the metro, it looks like an actual lotus blossoming, surrounded with trees!! Looks amazing!!

@@torukmakto9783 No it's not! Thanks for asking because I myself was unaware of the religious roots of this temple. This is a Bahai House of Worship! It's an Arabic religion. Internet is split on whether Bahai is related to or an off shoot of Islam or not. So I don't know anything other than that!

One of the amazing architecture in the world, without international popularity....and even most of the Indians don't know the value of it.... The modern indian architecture is amazing in more fields, but it's not got it's popularity like in western world, the media needs to bring out all those indian architectures to the world by explaining the simplicity, elegance, practical and comfort of structures....

Under budget for client and financial loss for construction company i.e.contractor, L&T has multiple projects so its always more about its brand value and quality delivery than making an eminent project financially viable/profitable through any means or compromising or backing off from its obligations.

Architects not just deign the aesthetics. They also come up with the plan of the structures that is going to support the structure. Engineers only do what the architect plans. Engineers don't design buildings nor the intricacies of designing the structures that is going to support the structure. Architects do that.

The reason why India doesnt have much modern unique buildings is because India has lack of Architects (which requires both brains as well as creativity) whereas India has large number of civil engineers (most of them don't have any creativity, they just repeat the same mundane stuff)

@@Rahul_Singh100 well have you heard of structural engineer, looks like you don't have proper knowledge of industry and how construction is actually done , architecture are designer , structural engineer provide structural details, electrical and mechanical does electric, HVAC , plumbing and other , civil engineering does detailing and plan development process of project and further more , the way you are saying looks like arrogance of ignoring others role and praising your own, get yourself corrected 👍

It is in shape of lotus because it symbolises purity in India, it's design has nothing to do with Sydney 's Opera House, it's a house of worship of Baha'i faith, which believes in Unity of God, Unity of Religious and Unity of Mankind, that's why it has 9 gates to welcome all the followers of each major religion, it is not to be admired for how it is built but for why it is built. Allah 'u' Abha.

Those who don't know Baha faith is Derived from Shia islam, its Like from Judaism Chirstan comes. They believe in one God Which Baha'u'llah(Allah) but they are different from muslim because they beleive in Avatar Of Allah. They believe in 9 religion sent by Allah which includes Hinduism and Buddhism while muslim don't take guarantee of that.l, muslim Faith says Allah is Formless and infinite. Without begining and end.
