I didn’t think my husband wouldn’t cry and that I would. We’ve been together 10 years and only seen him cry 3 times. One of those times was our wedding day. He was crying harder than I have ever seen. I on the other hand couldn’t stop smiling. I was so sure it would be the other way around haha.

Not a cry but I definitely teared up watching my beautiful wife strut proudly down the aisle towards me. I was proud and emotions just overfilled the capacity for me to hold it in.

First, that little girl in the video has to be his niece or sister b/c she looks just like him! I know it's supposed to be him as an old man telling his love story to his granddaughter, so they did a great job getting his relative- whoever she is! On another note, my husband didn't cry, & I was livid- hahaha! I knew he was fighting it b/c he was being so goofy. Our pastor said, "Repeat after me, I, Robert, take thee Niki," & of course my idiot husband said, "Repeat after me..." Ugh! lol. It got a big laugh from the crowd & a very dirty look from me. He still laughs about it today like it was the funniest joke that no one ever thought of before him 😆. I still do not laugh. Though I am smiling a bit writing this. I know my husband was doing everything not to cry. He was a patrol officer then (later promoted to detective), so the crowd was full of his LEO family, & I knew he was being tough. He had to keep breaking eye contact with me as I was walking down the aisle to keep from crying. I wanted tears spilling, lol. not just welling up!
