Great video! Can you do a topwater vid on your favorite wakebait? I had some good luck this past weekend at Wallenpapack throwing glidebaits around docks and trees. I got about 10 smallies, a few of them around 3lbs. I also got a hybrid striper on a jerkbait in the back of martins cove. It was a fun weekend but it was raining like crazy and the wind was blowing so dang hard! Anyway, I just wanted to share that with you. Keep up the great work.
Thanks John. Those glidebaits pull some really good bass, both green and brown! My favorite wake bait is the Cordell Redfin. Link to video here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-YrYSoJIWd7s.html
I don't use a split ring but I do use a very small snap to attach thee Sammy. The size between the 100 and 65 is not as well balanced and does not walk as nicely in my opinion.
Sammy is silent and Gunfish rattle. I think that is the biggest difference between them for me. The Gunfish is one of the easiest baits to walk on the market. Smallmouth and stripers seem to like it more than largemouth
