Part 3 in the series. In this video I take care of some lugs and patch some holes. I also decided to order a wrap for this kit since I didn't want to spend the time refinishing it all over again.
Cool man!looking forward to seeing the wrap. I don’t like the way Ludwig put the screws and lugs all together to scrape each other. I ordered a set and sent back two that sucked. Oh well. Not your problem. Sorry.
Yes, the only issue I've ever had with kit besides the weak bass drum spurs and floor tom legs are the screws! Mine are the flat head type and were a pain in the ass to get out since they were rusted. Broke a few lugs trying to remove them so I'm going to upgrade the screws before rebuilding.
What is the shell material of your kit Russell? Maybe I cant see shit, but it looks like particle board. Looking forward to your new wrap. I visited that website and they have quite the selection.
LOL I do see how it looks like particle board/osb on the interiors of the shells. The outside finish was a flop by me from years ago for a music video and look like shit. REMO Acousticon drums are the ones made from particle board. I'm able to get my hands on one of those kits so I might do a future video on it.
