When my grandpa left, the archbishop of Chicago at the time tried to get him to stay in the priesthood and not follow his heart. His exact words to my grandpa were "You don't have to buy the bakery to taste the buns!" My grandpa was never so sure of himself after that comment. "Let him love" is so spot on Lumineers! They are celebrating 50 years of marriage this April. :-)

I love watching this video of Big Parade. It is one of my favorite songs of theirs. Watching them play together brings it to a whole new level. I love to see so many people come together to make music... beautiful music.

I love how at 1:35 he says the wrong lyric to the chorus and Neyla gives a smile as she holds back from singing...

I found this video by accident a month ago. It took me 4 hours to find it again...didn't know the name of the band. To me this is awesome, awesome, awesome musicianship. I imagine sitting next to a bunch of jamming hobos back in the depression keeping warm by an old oil barrel fire.. Awesome.

Its just one of the most impressive musical composition that i have the pleasure to listen. Btw, I am very anxious for the third album but I know I'll miss Neyla

I love how loose they all are when they perform. It's like no big deal we'll sing whenever we want to and we'll all still sound good no matter what. This band's got such personality. It's a shame that their most meaningless song is the only one that's heard on the radio

I got sucked into all the bullshit going on in the world lately; the Rona, politics and everything else going on... I was getting mean and everything was starting to unravel for my mental state...I’m a near 40 year old self professed metal head and just discovered how much I have been missing out on with bands like the Lumineers, Houndmouth and others. And then I watch videos like this and I read the comments and I see people just tryin to cope through music and it’s sending a positive message to my mental health... thank you for making music that softened a hardened felon like myself
