Cracks me up when people like this DJ find Ho Hey to be a really joyful song. Listen to the lyrics outside the music, it's really heartbreaking, the story of a man's love who is gone and with someone else.

Very true. Pretty much like Pumped Up Kicks, by Foster the People. A catchy, up tempo song....about a kid who shoots people. Both great songs though.

I love the simplicity of their music. Simple yet powerful. Most mainstream music these days doesn't have the soul that these guys (and girl) put into it. Some of the best music I've heard in a long time! It's just real.

reminds me of so many epic songs made in the 60-70's. I've listened to those songs growing up since my parents are HUGE fans of music. glad I can have something to show them and say..not every music group in our generation sucks!!

At least you've had the chance to see them! I hope they come to England soon, I'll travel to any end of the country to see them if they do! They performed on an advert for Curry's here in the UK with Ho Hey which is one the biggest contributions to their growth here.

Neyla has a fantastic and beautiful voice, and if you listen carefully to most choruses/refrains you can hear her. She was in an a capella women's group before meeting Wes and Jer and they won some awards. She also worked as a music teacher. :)
