I wish they would bring these cars to the U.S, ik they won’t but I have already watched 8 other of your videos before this one. I just found your channel, and looking at the exteriors and interiors of these cars, I am so jealous that we don’t have these cars 😢I would buy them. I would buy this one too.
As a french viewer of your channel i ‘m of course not interested as a potential customer. But it ´s really interesting to discover and have a occidental analysis of these chinese products that we don’t even imagine the advance in comparison of our « traditionnal » market. Thanks for your job and keep going !!
@@aphidian you ´re right but in comparison of chinese ´s choice our market of PHEV and electric cars with modern technologies (big screen and head-up display for example) at an affordable price is really poor… I ´m so impatient for brands Like NIO or other to arrive on european market in order to break the market and open new possibilities….
@@jean-nicolasdorner2405 I live in Hong Kong and I share your pain. We face a similar situation here despite sitting right next to mainland China. Being a small right hand drive market I don't expect Hong Kong to be high on the list for Chinese EV export. For now we only have a few low end models from BYD and MG, not much to choose from.
Looks fine. You do get a lot of Volvo in the car for less money if not the same level of appointments and possibly overall refinement. However, the best Lynk and Co may be the Zeekr001.
As a zeeker’s owner, I have to say it’s a top level EV car for the price in 50 grand USD. Lifetime warranty, lifetime free battery charging for 1000 KWh every month. Plus the zeeker’s CEO just announced its free to upgrade to Qualcomm 8115.
6:30 impressive battery size. my search turns out that a single Toyota hybrid matches this. I still believe in hybrids if only upsize the batteries and downsize the ICE.
Another comprehensible review! But how so there is still no review/s on Lynk & Co 08 and that is coming to Europe soon? New platform. New technologies. New hopes :)
I asked this myself, but after a quick research it seems like they let you decide whether you buy or lease the car. I guess that it isn‘t obligatory anymore to lease them.
As a owner of 09 emp (basically a 09 with a bigger battery pack), I gotta say it drives really good, but kinda dumb in terms of the Operating System easiness to use in today's so-to-say smart EV standard.
I'v been buy Lynk & co 09 before 2 month a go it's quit nice but I have one issue in front screen it's turning off sometimes when I drive I don't know what's the reason but I called maintenance they told me grab you'r car here you might need to do software it happens to me twice
I kind of suspect that Lynk&Co designed 09 to be uglier than it should have been... Just to avoid effect on sales of XC90... (since I think it is not quite goodlooking than 01 or others
but the problem is I buy it brand new from the company and I'm shocked it happens like that and the car is still new I'm pissed off and mad about that the car it has 5,000 km and I don't know how is that happened infact my friend have one and we are in the same country and he have one 09 type same mine and his car 11,000 km since when he buy it from 4 month a go from the company he did saw any issues in his car instant of my car
lets get this clear once and for all, is Lynk & co a chinese company or a swedish brand? i like it regardless of the parent nation and might get one, but i still want to know
Where do you draw the line. Volvo is Swedish company owned by Chinese Geely. Together they own Lynk. The Swedish heritage and engineering is the base of the Lynk cars. But give it a couple of years and the company and will be more Chinese.
A serious contender to Li L9, but small 3 row will fail this fun car! Btw Volvo is really outdated by now it’s literally incomparable to the electric car speed and maneuvering….
@@haoruchen4216 yeah, L9 costs a lot more. the 6 seat ultra version of 09 is still 140k rmb cheaper. x5 is at least 300k cheaper than x7? different classes of cars have different prices, just way of life. 09 is a good value too, and probably fits many customers better all considered, while L9 fits others better. both should be good choices imo.
This is a meaningless comment. The L9 is over 5.2m long and this one is around 5m. 20cm of leg room makes a huge difference for sure, but in most Chinese cities, 5.2m cars are rather difficult to use. Parking spots are much smaller than in the US for example. Americans can afford to drive 5.6m cars like the Suburban/Navigator and still swing the door fully open. Given a little extra metal and plastic, you can always make a bigger car. But the key is how userfriendly it is in the relevant context. Frankly I am waiting for the GLB45 to come out and also have a LOtus Emira on order. 4.6m and 4.4m. Anything over 5m is madness, and a public nuisance. Like a 300lb guy in economy.
That is a Mitsubishi dynamic shield with Hyundai head light integrated grille, a Land Rover side vent, and Nissan C pillar; in conclusion the design is derivative, non-cohesive, and cluttered.
He is a decent and very unbiased reviewer from USA. When he sees flaws he mentions them straight way. I have seen him giving good rating to many cars ,with price tag way less than the called luxury brands which 99% of world's population can't afford actually.....
