NO it is NOT a "descendant of the Ball" it has a damn particle BEAM cannon that intensifies it's damage... and Feddie Balls were NOT designed to sink Zeon Space Cruisers... the Zakrello Mobile Armor was specifically designed to target Salamis Class and Magellan Class Feddie Space Cruisers which are not easy to that sink by a single Zaku even if there is an ace pilot or veteran pilot. The concept of the Zakrello, the missiles, the beam cannon and the blades was INTENDED to be used against Feddie warships... also the mobility is much higher than your standard Rick Dom. Finally you miss the point of the 1979 Japanese Gundam TV anime... before it the vast majority of giant robot Anime was based on Super Robot show formula... Gundam flipped that and still used the concept of the "monster of the week" because originally the episode was aired ONCE a week, so the preview would show something that seem highly dangerous so how will the main characters handle it? is the point. Further Dimitri was a TEST pilot.. the Zakrello needed further testing, there was nothing wrong with it per se but compared to the Bigro, it seemed weaker and ineffective and probably slower... yet Amuro was using the G-Sky configuration which greatly increased the speed mobility of the Gundam while being able to pivot and turn almost like a person, in space and fire beam rifle fire or get close with the beam saber... Unfortunately most average NEWbie Gundam fans judge these episodes at face value without thinking and just laugh or think the weapon was stupid... it never was... also it is far larger than a Ball and larger than the Gundam and GunCannon plus put together... The Zakrello could use additional tuning to increase speed and ammo and fuel tanks as well as add more dangerous heated blades... actually I feel the blades were implied to be heated originally because if used against Salamis Class and you manage to side swipe that cruiser, you can not only do some massive damage, leave an exposed gash, etc but also rupture the rear boosters in a critical hit... Finally Dimitri took the Zakrello without permission on a revenge (and probably seeking that double rank promotion) against the Gundam and White Base but he faced not just the Gundam, but a teen pilot who had not only mastered the controls and survived many sorties but also mastered killing many Zeon Ace pilots and other Zeon Mobile Armors before that.

Was it Studio Artdink's Gundam Battle series? yeah the MA enemy units are always a menace to fight because they're very mobile and can simply rush and crash into you if you're too close, making melee them near impossible, unlike in GFvZ they can immediately barrel roll to the side if they realize they're too head-on towards you let's not forget Gundam Assault Survive's first 0079 EFSF space mission where after transitioning to one area you have few seconds to get your guard up or else a faraway Bigro unit stunlocks your existence with huge laser beam

@@sigmazeta2044 Yes, Gundam battle Chronicle/Universe (later on Assault Survive, the map change was very revolutionary) too bad all 3 game never get an english patch. tho im hyped at gundam breaker 4 coming to PC.

@@alternative915 Gundam Assault Survive did get a partial English patch, but the MS unlock requirements is still wack you'd better off finding it in some obscure Japanese wiki, same goes for Gundam Battle Universe (in this case it's a Japanese site "atwiki", just Google Translate their pages and you'd be fine)
