All the related videos are making me actually cry....maps, ready for the floor, my girls, you me dancing....thank god for music! Now we can relieve the best moments of our lives all over again.
hahaha, thats totally how i actually came to this video. So many amazing memories tied to this band here. I wish I really knew to savor the time back then!
Considering this was uploaded in 2007, and the A-Punk video was made in 2007 and released in 2008, I think Garth Jennings took inspiration from this, and not the other way around.
this entire album tickles on the idea of religion, and really supports you to find your own religion (whatever that would mean to you), and living YOUR life rather than living someone elses (life/religion). amirite?
And emotion is a simple test to the synapse Don't let it fool you into thinking that you've got brains And the more you feel, the more you will take with you So cut the flesh and let your blood flow to the drain You've got to Tear, burn, soil the flesh God will do the rest Scream, cry, pray, confess God will do the rest
That would be the best 200 I ever spent. Too bad I dont live in LA. Or even remotely close to California. These guys were amazing at Harvest of Hope Festival. They threw a parachute over the crowd and everyone rushed to get under it.
This would have been hilarious if this song was used for a comedy scene in Buffy the Vampire Slayer "Season 13"... if it didn't end at season 7, that is.
urrite! but to me (without really reading all the lyrics), the Mae Shi only really sung about christianity, but I can't tell if it's positive or negative
Ok so its 1am and I am drunk, too drunk to ever possibly care about some youtube comment, however this is the only time I am ever going to bother replying to one. I really can't possibly be bothered to explain my point of view, possibly I explained myself badly in the first place. So I guess you'll just have to congratulate yourself on proving me wrong and I can drift back into a state of blissful apathy.
@CrunkRockSteadyEvan Have you ever read any books by Lee Strobel? Because you seriously should. (I'm not here to argue, all I ask is that you read some of his works with an unbiased mind. I've done the same with both ends of the spectrum-I wouldn't ask you to do anything I haven't.)
